Great service today at the store. Callum helped us find exactly what we wanted (camping table, kitchen and beds). There was none in stock, only the show items, but Callum assisted us to purchase those (which was not a problem for us). Very polite and helpful. Many thanks.

The shop is great.well laid out and plenty to choose from with good prices too. Just lost a star because it took quite a while to find someone to help with what we wanted to buy ended up ordering online

We went to GoOutdoors to buy an air windbreak, not a cheap item so needed advice. The assistant, Quinn, was very knowledgeable, explained clearly the differences between brands and was able to give a good discount. Adam at checkout was polite and helpful despite the hot weather and it being the end of the day. Quinn kindly carried the items to the car for us as well. We always get great service at this store, there is ample parking and the opening hours are really convenient.

I recently went to Go Outdoors in Poole. I needed a new pair of walking shoes. My feet are long and I often find that I can’t get my size in the range that most ladies shoes fit into.
I was served by Haleena. She was most helpful and was happy to go to and from the stock room to get a variety of different styles in my size until I was happy with my purchase.
She has also served me on previous occasions and I have to say that her service has always been exemplary. She is a credit to your company.

I went into a store, on the advice of customer service, to collect a tent which had not been delivered.
I waited for over an hour for the manager to ring customer service and get the relevant information so as I could leave with my tent.
Surely there should be a direct number for them to call as the customer service rep had told me??

The staff in store however were great and also very apologetic for the delay (not their fault).

Go Outdoors is bye far one of the best after sales service I have come across. When I wanted to return An item and losses my receipt Customer Support was superb. Marwah went above and beyond to ensure my purchase was recovered and sent me an email with all the information required. The Poole branch again was exceptional and Finn made the whole process painless. This is my first stop for Camping and Outdoor equipment. Thank you

I originally ordered an 8-man tent with an advertised delivery time of 3–5 days. Unfortunately, it never arrived, causing my family to miss a planned camping trip.
The Evri tracking never worked, and I spent over a week chasing the order. I received conflicting information about my refund, and despite being told it had been processed, it never reached my bank account. Customer Care did eventually agree to honour my original purchase price, but the proposed solution wasn't practical as I needed the tent before another camping trip.
Everything changed when I visited the Poole store. The staff and manager were outstanding. They were professional, friendly, approachable and genuinely took the time to listen. They understood the situation straight away, treated me with respect and focused on finding a practical solution rather than simply quoting policy. Thanks to their help, I was able to leave the store with the tent I needed in time for my family's trip.
The reason this review is 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 is entirely because of the Poole store team. They delivered the level of customer service I had been hoping for from the beginning and turned what had been a very frustrating experience into a positive ending.
Thank you to everyone at the Poole store—you were a credit to GO Outdoors. I only wish the same level of service had been provided by the online Customer Care team from the start.
