Adam Stowe is absolutely incredible! Give this man a promotion—he worked tirelessly to help me secure my apartment at Alvista Towers. Even when the situation seemed hopeless, he stayed positive and supported me through every step. A true professional with outstanding customer service.

Excellent Leasing Dept

We have lived in one of K&R's buildings for over 5 years and they have been amazing every step of the way. The building and facilities are staffed with the best employees that make our buildings feel like family. The leasing department is also extremely fair and works hard to keep their tenants happy. Very grateful to have found K&R in NYC, they are a rare find.

I couldn't have asked for a better Management Company. Devaki, Patricia, and Arlette are extremely helpful and respond immediately to my e-mails. For the past 10 years, I've resided in one of the buildings K&R manages and hope that my new building Management Company is as good as K&R is.

I have had the most positive experience with K&R Realty, especially with the leasing agent. Throughout my entire application process she has been professional, responsive and very friendly. She went above and beyond to answer all of the questions that I had and responded in a very timely fashion. As a New Yorker, looking for housing during the pandemic can be extremely stressful, but her high level professionalism and kindness took any stress away. If you are looking for a rental company that values quality customer service and with a personal touch, then you have found it! 5 Star service!!

Our experience with K&R realty has been impeccable. We viewed apartments in two of their properties and they were very well kept. It has been our BEST experience with a management office in 10 years that we've lived in NYC. The person that we corresponded with, Lili Ezrapour, has been the most efficient, flexible, kind and understanding real estate professional we have ever worked with.

I’ve gone through several apartment application processes and working with K&R was by far the best experience I’ve had. Cheyenne was very kind, helpful, and quick to respond to all my questions. While the entire process took a few weeks, she kept me updated along the way which was quite comforting. Application processes can be nerve racking, so it was nice to know someone on the other end thought of me as a person and not just a file. Additionally, everything was done online or via email which made the process extremely easy and convenient. I definitely recommend working with K&R!

The application process was so extensive and grueling. I was really appreciative of the guidance I had from Cheyenne. She made sure I was informed every step of the process. I she made sure I had every form completed perfectly and explained everything. I honestly might have given up in the middle of the process if it wasn't for her. Now that I am in my apartment I am truly grateful for her. If all the staff from K&R realty is like Cheyenne, this is an amazing company.

I am a resident in good standing at Alvista Towers and I have had an absolute nightmare of a time dealing with Building Manager Adam Stowe and this Management company. Under the lease agreement and the law, a resident is entitled to the peaceful possession of his or her rental property without the excessive noise disturbance as a result of music played during night hours or loud parties during night hours. This Building Manager, Adam Stowe, admittedly ignored formal written complaints submitted by tenants in good standing for over a 3-month period, requesting his assistance to fulfill the building’s contractual obligation to enforce rules and policies so that people can actually sleep at night. I have included several company representatives on all formal, written complaints submitted and this company does not act, nor care to act, in providing a peaceful living environment. All applicants should be advised before entering a lease with this company that they are non-responsive and are in current breach of contractual agreement with a resident of Alvista Towers. Due to the Manager’s negligence, damages have been suffered by tenant and legal and equitable remedies are being sought in the civil court. This may only be a review, but listen to a well-informed warning. This company employs agents and/or building Managers, that are unable to effectively manage the property. As a result, you, a good-standing tenant, are susceptible to a substandard living environment. Based on my experience with K and R Realty, I would strongly suggest that you do not choose to reside with their properties. They do not have the internal controls nor management infrastructure in place to adequately manage apartment buildings. In order to address these types of issues, it is important for tenants to communicate them on a broad scale clearly and often so that other prospective renters do not make the same mistake. Alvista Towers, Manager Adam Stowe, and K and R Realty have been a terrible representation of what building management should resemble. Take these words seriously because your home should be a place of order. That is not the case with this company.

I applied for an apartment through a housing program that K&R Realty was overseeing. I met an amazing woman by the Cheyenne Marrero. She is one of the absolute nicest people I have ever met period, let alone at a real estate company. As you can imagine, searches for nice living accommodations on a limited budget is tough in itself, so having to deal with impatient and not-so-kind realtors/agents who only look at you as just another application number makes things even harder. So to meet a woman like Cheyenne who is super kind, patient and willing to be of help was like a heaven sent breath of fresh air. K&R Realty is very fortunate to have someone like her on their team and I hope to do business with them in the future because of awesome people like her.
