They're not all transparent up front. Be careful hidden fees :
1. I bought silver with them BUT it's not automatically placed under my name on the storage, you can put it under your name for another fee. this is never mentioned in the website. website promoting storage under your name.
2. 5% sell price from spot that never being mentioned. it is very expensive compare to other dealer less than 3%.
3. the sell price that ultimately given is not same day rate, but 2 days later. it can be plus or minus, but I prefer company that honor sell price at the time we submit the sell order. other dealer honor the sell price at the time we submit sell order.

There are other company that give you better service than this. I exit this company and move to another one better.

Overall I'm very satisfied with the company and the service. I was not happy when they put my account on hold for an update but it was resolved to my satisfaction.

I have 36 years of investing experience. Gold Money has been the most disgusting, immoral investment firm I have ever dealt with. It was clearly stated that a customer would get spot price when they sold their metals. After Gold Money built a rather large holding of client accounts, the firm got "sold". The spot price sell agreement got FLUSHED for even the oldest accounts. An account then got hammered with a sell price that more than doubles your total investment fee. And then there is the ever-rising storage fees, problems with customer service, etc. The connection between the previous Gold Money owner and the "new owner" that took over is highly suspicious. Did Gold Money switch hands to a close associate so the sell rules could be re-written, reneging on the promise to pay SPOT PRICE when a client sells their holdings? Of course, Gold Money offered a period where you could sell without paying the new fee, but they did it at a time when the price of silver was at a multi-year LOW. Most Gold Money clients could not counter the despicable, slimy tactics Gold Money used to scalp their long-term investors without selling early and taking a huge loss. I am so thankful to have sold and CLOSED my account with Gold Money. These are the type gold dealers that give the industry a bad reputation.

have been asked to submit the periodically required documents for my holding company. Due to negligence, I forgot to do this twice. And I still received a very polite letter asking me to provide the necessary data. After I had submitted them, the account was immediately reactivated the next day.

Whomever I've dealt with at Goldmoney they've been nothing but patient and respectful with me. I've been storing PM's with them for roughly six years now and the transactions have always been prompt and consistent with no hiccups.

I would like to write a full review on Goldmoney to 100% confirm that all 1 or 2-star aggressive reviews can be completely ignored.

I have been a customer of GM since 2009. I have accumulated metal, and I have NEVER sold or withdrawn.

Full disclosure, I know the founders personally.

I decided after reading the negative reviews, to test the sale and cash withdrawal. So here is my report:

1) Silver Sale: 3 days to process, I received transparent and professional correspondence on status

2) Cash withdrawal: 1 day processing time and funds were in my account

4 days in total and THIS IS COMPLETELY ACCEPTABLE.

For those that do not understand precious metals, this is PHYISCAL MONEY. It takes time to process and to be honest I AM GLAD IT TAKES TIME. This supports that GM actually has your metal, and they do what they promise.

This platform is simple and trustworthy. It is founded by gentleman who are pioneers in REAL MONEY. The company is listed and audited.

You will not find a more trustworthy platform to own PM's for retail customers in the world.

I will never use another platform to own PM's.

Whilst just trusting that all is well, I hardly ever log in. When I tried, it failed. This was disturbing, as so much negativity is going on on the internet.
Ankush replied right away, stating that they had a technical problem. The next day, everything worked just fine again. Pacified and happy.
