Well, sorry to have to change my review again, but this is getting a bit ridiculous. I have now had my living room dismantled for a month (Baseboards off, doorframes removed, half the floor taken up) because Golden Select has been consistently telling me that my flooring order was just days away. Once a week I call them (because they never call me) to find out that there was some problem that delayed shipping (and I guess they didn't want to let me know?) But that the boxes of flooring are going to be shipped out in a day or two and I will have them by end of week. It is now Christmas, and customer service is not answering the phones. Is that because they are already on holiday? Should I not expect my floor to arrive until 2026? Should I ever expect it? Please Golden Select, let me know what's happening here.

Avoid this poor quality product, after 6 Months the panels begin to separate, leaving lines at random spaces, the helpline simply states the Store is closed or puts you through to a voice mail, unfortunately Costco who sell the product appear unable to help also.

This flooring is absolutely terrible...
After just a few years it is lifting and the surface level is peeling up all over. I am careful to wipe up any water that comes off of wet boots, etc. because this flooring can't even handle a drop of water touching it. I reached out to the warranty department with photo evidence and they replied with the following:

"The warranty of the product is against wear of the protective layer exceeding 2x2 inches/square, fading cause by direct sunlight in front of glass doors/windows, stain with domestic items drop. Ex: Ketchup , mustard etc.). The warranty provides replacement material to fix the floor excluding labor or any other expenses."

I guess to get my flooring replaced I need to squirt ketchup and mustard all over it and hope it leaves a stain...
What a waste of money...

I purchased the Golden Select Grey Laminate effect vinyl click Flooring from Costco — 27/1/2020, and it turned out to be a huge mistake.
This is, without question, the worst flooring I’ve ever bought.

The installation was done professionally by a contractor who carefully followed the manufacturer’s instructions for fitting. Despite this, the flooring started to deteriorate within just six months — and not just minor issues, but significant, widespread damage.

The long-edge connections consistently fail, causing the boards to separate and edges to snap. Corners chip easily, chunks break off, and many boards have developed fragile, eggshell-like cracks running through them. The overall quality is shockingly poor.

This product is simply not fit for purpose. I’ve experienced the same problems described in other negative reviews, which shows this is not an isolated case.

My strong advice: if you’re looking for durable, reliable flooring, avoid this product at all costs. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and expense. I only wish I could share pictures to show just how badly this flooring has held up.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt the need to stress to others how bad this flooring really is.

I bought this flooring circa November 2022. It is the worst flooring I've ever laid.

I've laid a lot of flooring over the years, especially vinyl. In fact, the vinyl i laid in my kitchen 10 years ago is still going strong. The cheap laminate i laid in my hallway 9 years ago has no issues.

This vinyl has failed in several areas. It looked fantastic when I first laid it, but then gradually I have found planks have failed at the joints. This first started less than a year after installation. I thought it was a one off, but it's happened in several areas. The long edge connection fails and the edges break. I have also had issues with the laminate chipping in the corners.

It was laid exactly as per the instructions, with electric mat underfloor heating installed, which is acceptable as per the instructions.

All that time and money wasted. Its 44m2 of flooring that I will need to replace.

The product is easy to install. The finish is very nice and the quality is excellent. This product is highly recommended.

I had to replace our vinyl flooring after only 2 years. I had a professional carpenter installed them and after only a year they started to curl/lift up in some places. I was absolutely shocked. As time went on it just got worse, eventually I had to have the floors in the entire upper level of my home replaced. I called Golden Select and it was a waste of my time. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! So stressful and put a dent in my finances. STAY AWAY FROM GOLDEN SELECT!!

Worked with Costco installer for part of in stall . I then installed the two other rooms. Easy to work with. Vinyl flooring is easy to install and boxes are not to heavy to carry upstairs. Love the colour!

Great Quality, easy install on our entire main floor! Definitely purchase again.

We had some issues around our order, initially it was quite hard to get hold of their support but Ear called me and rectified the situation. I really apprceciated the call and await my order hopefully it arrives soon. Only thing is I hope their suport is quicker to respond in future.

Second room we have finished with Golden Select Laminate and beyond impressed with ease of installation and how great it looks !

The flooring I installed started to have issues, and now it looks like garbage. I have been reaching out to Golden Select as well as Costco and there is still no movement on covering the warranty and replacing my flooring. This was over 500 square feet of flooring that is garbage, only had it down for less than 2 years before the issues started to arise. Still trying to get some answers from someone for a flooring that costs well over $1000

Got our flooring from Costco, fell in love with the Biscotti flooring colour. It was so easy to install, went smooth and quick. Love the way that it turned out!!

Have used their flooring from Costco and great flooring - my whole house is done out with it.
I bought some of the mouldings off their website. I received a confirmation email stating dispatch details will be received in 3 days. More than a week later nothing. I have not received a response to my emails and the uk telephone number does not work. I am raising this with my bank as a fraudulent transaction and seeking a charge back. Avoid dealing with them direct.

We have had golden select toasted honey laminate flooring from Costco for the entire house for last 7 years. Fabulous and hard wearing. We are under going renovations and have selected Oslo light Oak for entire top floor. It comes with its own underlay and needs minimum prep if your floor is reasonable levelled. Will not hesitate to recommend them.

Fitted lots of this probably the best flooring I’ve used very easy to fit and looks great

I bought flooring from Golden Select for our basement, which we were finishing. It was really easy to work with and looks great. We've had it installed for a couple of months now and I have no complaints. Since it is waterproof, we were able to install it throughout the whole basement. This made it easier as we didn't have any change in flooring between rooms.

Purchased the Spiced Oak 18.2 cm (7.16 in.) Rigid Core SPC Vinyl Flooring for my basement. Great quality and easy to install.
