Dodgy and rude ppl! Giving 20 years old tyres and when we found out, he said we gave you good deal! Good deal for $95/each old stock tyre. It is a joke, right? 🤣🤣

Firstly I have dealt with Global Tyre Co for several years. Only they removed my wheels, fix punctures etc.
I called to Global Tyre Co on Mullinary Road, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan on 1-11-2024 to have my car tyres checked pre-NCT. I was advised that ideally I should change all 4 tyres, which I agreed to do. They advised me it would be €65 per tyre.
After the "Fitter" had 3 new tyres on, he came to me. He handed me a plastic bag, which contained 3 security nuts. He said they were replacing them with ordinary nuts, as they were damaged. He informed me that he was unable to remove the 4th wheel, front left as the security opener, was apparently now also damaged. Obviously it had worked for the first 3 wheels. He informed me that I would need to go to a 3rd party man who would be able to remove the 4th security nut. I did what he said. I noticed that they had only put 3 nuts on each of the 3 wheels that they had fitted the new tyres on. I returned to Global Tyre Co and got them to fit the 4th new tyre. I dealt with and paid in full "Simon Allen". I advised him, that his fitter had told me they would put ordinary nuts, where they had removed the original security nuts, and asked him was this in fact correct, or should I go elsewhere to get the nuts. He said he would ask the fitter to check if they had nuts. The young man arrived back with 4 nuts which he duly tightened on the wheels.
The next day, 2-11-2024 I was cleaning the car again pre-NCT. I removed each wheel to power hose the wheel arches. I realised that 3 of the 4 nuts that Global Tyre Co had replaced, were actually incorrect threads for the car, a Peugeot 308. They had been tightened damaging the wheel threads.
I rang Global Tyre Co and spoke with a man called Sean. I explained what had happened. He said if I called in, they probably would have the correct nuts.
I drove in to Global Tyre Co arriving approx 4pm.
As I was pulling up, a tall stooped man shouted at me in a very angry way indicating I was to park in a different place. As soon as I stepped out of the car this same man approached and spoke in an aggressive manner, saying "What's wrong with you today"?.
I was shocked at his rude manner, and his attitude. I said, "your fitter fitted 3 incorrect nuts to my car, thereby damaging the threads on 3 wheels. He replied again rudely, "I told you yesterday we don't do Peugeot wheel nuts".
I hadn't dealt with this man on 1-11-2024, and it was Simon Allen who had asked his fitter to check if they had nuts or not. This man then "growled" at me to wait to one side and proceeded to deal with a different customer.
As I had not approached this individual at all, and had only called there at the request of "Sean" who answered the phone, I decided I didn't need any more abuse from this individual, and had more important things to do, than to wait around to entertain him and his despicable manners.
I left and will no doubt have to source and have fitted 3 new wheels at who knows what cost.
At this point, I would never again deal with Global Tyre Co Carrickmacross.
