Publishing was the part I kept avoiding for months. Turns out I just needed the right people to handle it. Now it’s done, and I wish I hadn’t delayed it this long.

I paid to do 2 children's books, a reference book and a colouring book plus the highest level Marketing package. Then to top it off they charged me to have a paypal facility that is normally free. I got the project started but was not happy and put a halt on it. I never heard back and they have taken more than $10000 from me and disappeared. I uploaded more than a hundred illustrations for the series and they have all been removed from the dashboard. This company along with Bookwriting Inc, Brilliant Ghostwriting, Professional Ghostwriting and 20 other Ghostwriting companies are all part of a massive scam syndicate. The websites are just fronts for this sham. They do the work to get things started but play tricks fixing one thing and stuffing up another. Nothing is ever completed as would be expected and nothing ever gets published. When you call the chat to complain on the website they upsell you with the next thing to get things moving but it is a circus act. Do not under any circumstances pay money to them. Money is alway paid via a link they send you and the promises are empty. I've sacrificed 8 years and approx $30000 and more of wasted time and funds. Worst part is they seem to have closed up and have not done paid adds since Covid hence the lack of communication via the dashboard and have not given me the source files. You would think the legal departments could take them down once and for all. The other thing is the minute you decide you are not wanting to move forward you begin getting calls from countless other ghostwriting companies who all have you details wanting to finish the book you already paid for. All these companies are more than likely linked to the same mother company. This has SCAM written all over it.

Then the finale on the chat on the website when things escalated they pulled out the big guns with a support king coming on named WONKA. Say not more!

I still have not received a phone call or final product from the company and it's been 1.5 years. Looking back through over 70 emails about corrections to my book, all the corrections have come from me and is disheartening. Essentially, I have been editing my own book this entire time. I have corrected spelling errors, rewrites that were not asked for, formatting issues, page layouts, mismatched artwork to text, text formatting, grammar, missing information, missing words, wrong cover image, back cover info errors, and so much more. Every time I receive an updated copy, I need at least an hour to comb through each page to look for errors. Again, what am I paying BookWriting Inc. for?

When I first hired BookWriting Inc., they assured me that they could do the job. Three weeks into it, I called them and asked for my money to be refunded. They assured me once again that they could do the job. EVERY TIME I have received a draft from BookWriting Inc., there has been an error. I regret not pursuing my money back through PayPal at the time. What have I received for my money? Nothing to publish. When I asked you if they could edit and format a children's book, they said they could. Upon further pressing, they admitted that they had not ever edited a children's book (but now it was past the PayPal dispute timeframe). Mistake after mistake has been delivered to me. This has been the most frustrating experience and I strongly advise looking elsewhere for publishing help. You have been warned.
