Consider choosing a different provider as our experience was less than satisfactory. Despite their promising delivery timelines, we were let down by the lack of punctuality and commitment. Initially, we received incorrect measurements for our door, which we fortunately corrected in time to avoid any manufacturing errors. Just before the promised delivery date, we encountered a delay due to quality control issues, extending our wait by a week. Today, we were informed of an additional five-day delay, leaving us uncertain about the actual arrival date. As of now, the door has not been delivered.

Love my new doors
The delivery went as planned with the doors arriving packaged very well which ensured there was no damage.
They fitted perfectly.
The locks seem very sturdy and easy to use.
The doors look amazing with the colour matching perfectly for both doors.

GFD provided a great all round service and quality products
GFD provided great presales communication and answered all our questions whilst reaching a decision. Quotations were clear and provided quickly, Josh was patient with all the quote variations which we really appreciated and sent a sample to help with colour matching.
Payment systems are smooth and well managed and the fitters did a fantastic job.
The COMP door suits the space so well, and is warm and secure, and the quality of materials at this early stage is excellent. We are really pleased with the choice we made - Thank You Global

Bit of bumpy road but surprisingly professional way of making thinghs straight
I have ordered supply only Solidor door from GFD. To be fair, there was few different problems along the line - all caused by door manufacturer (that is different story). GFD's support team was allways there to help and sorted out every problem. At the end they offered me part refund for all inconvenience caused (as it became a bit frustrating for me). I really appreciate how they dealt with all of that. There is not many companies like this which care about their customers and make everythin straight, especially in this situation all the problems were on manufacturer side. Well done GFD! I surely will use this company again.

Avoid them!
Avoid! There are other companies who keep their time and are competent. Very very disappointed with the service and commitment of delivery times.
First - we were given incorrect details because of which our door dimensions were very off, luckily we happened to fix this before it went to manufacturing.
Then the day before scheduled delivery, we were told there was a quality issue, and date was pushed out by a week. And today, yet another email to say it will be delayed by a further 5 days. We have no idea when we will actually receive this!
We have not received the door yet.

What's going on with Global Door/GFD Trading?...
Expecting delivery of a door yesterday (28/8). No call from delivery driver and not surprisingly, no delivery. Called first thing this morning, but no one got back to me as promised. Called again 3 hours later and spoke with a member of their 'support team'. Was told the driver had tried to deliver it to my next door neighbour! Why didn't the driver call me? I am also fairly sure no delivery van arrived next door at any time during the day. You have to make up your own mind why I was told this rubbish. I was offered a new date in a week's time which is most inconvenient. ps I purchased similar door from them 2 years ago which is excellent, with no problem. So, what's going on with Global Door/GFD Trading?

I can see you are currently dealing with our support team, who have been in touch last week and this morning to continue progressing this.
Looking over your job, it appears the manufacturer had attempted delivery of the door on the 28th; however, this was attempted to your neighbour, which you have now confirmed with your neighbour did occur. Please accept our apologies for this.
We are working with you and the manufacturer to get delivery to you as soon as possible to the correct address. As soon as we have further details for you, a member of the team will be back in touch.
Once again, I apologise for the issues you have had with your delivery. Please be assured we are working behind the scenes to get this remedied swiftly for you.

Poor communication & Unexplained delivery date change
Unfortunately, my first experience has been a poor one, I received a date for delivery for my door for the 1st of September this was confirmed as the exact date of delivery on the 19th August . I am arranging the install so had arranged a builder and waste disposal for that day, then yesterday without notice, I received a subsequent email telling me that my delivery date is now the 2nd of September. No courtesy call no explanation. When i try and call the number and select option three for questions about existing orders, the phone rings and then goes to a voicemail.

I am sorry to hear you have been left dissatisfied with our delivery process. Please be assured we take your concern seriously.
I have taken a look at your order and sadly, there appears to have been an admin error, for which I can only apologise. When the date of the 1st September was provided, it should have been advised that this was a week commencing date for delivery and not an exact delivery date.
Your exact delivery date has been confirmed as the 2nd September, which is the soonest delivery date we could offer, as the manufacturer does not deliver to your delivery postcode on a Monday.
Please be assured that these types of admin errors are not the norm for us, and I appreciate that this may have caused some inconvenience for your project.
This has been discussed at length with our orders team to ensure this type of error does not repeat again in the future, along with your feedback regarding to calls.
Once again, please accept our apologies. If there is anything else we can do to assist you, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
