Poorly packaged
Poorly packaged, no internal protection, outside poorly cellotaped. The base nut is missing so pole cannot be inserted into base. Even if the base nut was available the pole is dented and would not attach. According to the label on the motor this fan was made for ARGOS. Presume someone purchased this from Argos and returned it as faulty?
This item is not fit for purpose. My husband and I are disabled and have been told we must take this item to an EVRI return shop. This would entail me getting a taxi to and from shop. I cannot print a label at home, no printer. The whole experience has been an absolute nightmare, as a company you are a disgrace.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with the condition of the item received. Once you contacted us, we provided return instructions and a return label so that the matter could be resolved.
According to our records, we received no further communication from you to advise that you were having difficulty with the return method provided or that you required any further assistance. Had you contacted us, we would of course have responded and looked at how we could assist.
As this was a mail-order purchase, the item does need to be returned to us in order for the return to be processed. Tracking now shows that the parcel has been handed in at the ParcelShop and is on its way back to us, although we have not yet received it.
We therefore feel that describing our company as a “disgrace” is unfair when we responded to your complaint, provided the return arrangements and were not made aware of any further difficulty with returning the item.

The goods were of poor quality, not cleaned up, without a battery. They offer free returns with 14 days...rubbish, no free returns, 7 days returns..don't bother

In your message to us, you explained that you had not realised the item was a used item or that it did not come with a battery, both of which were stated within the listing. We were, of course, happy to accept the item back for a refund in accordance with our returns policy.

I bought a lawn mower from this company, and it was absolutely useless. This is back in early May. I sent it back, but they have not issued a refund. They asked me for proof of purchase, and I sent them the tracking number, but still no reply. I think my only alternative is to take them to court, which I will do very shortly

Unfortunately, this review does not reflect the service we provided. Your order was dispatched for next-day delivery, but Evri failed to deliver it. We responded to your messages, contacted Evri to investigate and tried to assist despite the increasingly unpleasant nature of the correspondence we received. Once Evri returned the undelivered parcel to us, you were refunded in full. We cannot prevent a courier delay, but we did everything reasonably expected of us to resolve it.

Ive given this company a 3 star review. (This may change) I recently purchased a Kettle bbq with a pizza oven, ordering was easy and delivery was ok. The problem was the wrong item was delivered so a few e mails have gone back n forth so I will see what the response will be. INOW WANT TO GIVE THIS COMPANY A 1* AS IVE ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES FOR THEM TO REFUND ME IN FULL AS THE WRONG ITEM WAS SENT, THEYVE ASKED FOR PICTURES OF PAPERWORK, THE BOX IT CAME IN ETC WHICH IVE DONE BUT STILL NOTHING. WONT BUY AGAIN FROM THIS COMPANY AND WILL PASS THIS ON TO TRADING STANDARDS.

Total scam.
I ordered the cordless vacuum cleaner, all that arrived was the head, without the charger on any other parts that actually allow to use the instrument for its purpose.
I contacted them (with photos) and instead of simply apologizing and sending the missing pieces, they sent me on a quest to find non-existing "green sticker"(?!) and other "notes" they claimed that should have arrived with the package.
I'm waiting to hear from them again soon, but if not, I'll simply report to my bank as a scam and a fraud.
Just a warning to you all considering ordering from them.
Update: Unlike in their respond below, the company received a lot of info from me, including photos, in the first, second and third messages. They maybe wanted to see parts that weren't there? Well, you cannot take photos of non-existing pipes. Crazy, ah?
Following this post, they sent me an email instructing me to print a label and send them the item back, but without promising they'll refund (or anything else). LOL.
They later emailed me another rude and aggressive email. At this point, me being a pragmatic human in need of a vacuum cleaner, i simply ordered from another company.
I'll update if and when I get my money back, until then, I'm keeping this message as is for others to make an informed decision.

Best avoided, factually incorrect company response
Bought a strimmer from them via ebay. Listed as new (but in opened box). Item was scuffed and muddy, clearly used. When I contacted the manufacturer they told me that the item was only sold via Argos in a bundle with a mower. Clearly not as advertised...you have been warned...
Their reply below is completely false. This is NOT the price I paid and I did NOT receive any refund. Presumably this is what they did for the customer who previously purchased this "new item". Misreprestenting the facts only reinforces the need to avoid GED. Look how many 1 star reviews they have....

We are disappointed by this review as it omits a significant part of what actually occurred.
We do not sell brand-new products. Our business specialises in open-box, shop-return, refurbished and used goods, and we have traded successfully on eBay since 2004 whilst maintaining compliance with marketplace policies and customer service standards.
In this particular case, the customer contacted us regarding the condition of the item received. Upon reviewing the information provided, we immediately identified that the incorrect grade item had been dispatched and apologised for the error.
We offered the customer the choice of returning the item for a full refund or retaining it with a substantial partial refund reflecting the lower grade condition. The customer chose to keep the item and accepted a £15 refund, reducing the purchase price to £35.
Whilst we acknowledge that a grading error occurred, we believe it is only fair that readers are aware that the issue was acknowledged immediately, a resolution was offered straight away, and the customer elected to keep the item at the reduced price.
