I needed two new garage springs for doors fitted over a decade ago and have worked perfectly ever since. I telephoned the company and answered immediately by a human being. I explained I may need the spares department but absolutely not. The lady dealt with everything withy great knowledge & efficiency and the two springs arrived the next day. The doors now back to full efficiency. It was like being back in the 1960s where humans ran the show properly and actually knew all about the company & processes as part of the job. Well done all at Garador & do not 'modernise' this flawless system.

Bought a grey garage door three years ago. It has had a slight bloom on it from day one and has got progressively worse. It marks from the rain and from hand prints. These can not be removed and look unsightly. The door frame has corroded badly after just three years. When approaching Garador about the issues we have encountered and requesting a replacement we were told that the finish was not guaranteed only the indoor mechanism. We have taken great care of the door and wash it down regularly. We are absolutely amazed at Garadors response that just after three years a garage door costing just short of £1000 has not lasted . This is the last Garador we will ever buy, be warned the 10 year guarantee means nowt. We are now having to rub it down and repaint it something at the price we paid should not have to do. Avoid Garador .

I had reason to ask them to fix a simple problem with a garage door.
They'll tell you that there's a £25 call-out charge but they don't tell you that there's a minimum charge of £200 until it's too late.
£200 for little more than an hour's work?
No wonder we lose faith.
Oh for the days when we could trust businesses not to rip us off.
May I suggest that you find a local tradesman instead. This is a national company despite them advertising with a local phone number.

I phoned and asked for replacement keys for a thirty year old Garador door. The phone was answered quickly by a human being and my enquiry was dealt with directly by the person who answered, I wasn’t put on hold or transferred to another department. I described the lock I needed keys for and the lady I spoke to knew exactly what I needed and where to find the number in the lock and even knew the part number to search for on the website. Faultless service.

Garador driver just smashed my mirror driving on my side of the road and fled the scene. After chasing after him for 2 miles, he first denies it, asks if I have cameras fitted (I do) and fails to give me his name.

I called the office to be told the traffic manager would call me back...I called 2 hours later...he will still call me back.

If the company's working practices are as poor as the drivers attitude and managers response to a report of an accident is, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

I will be contacting my lawyer for legal advice.

Purchased the Europro 800 (part of Garador) from Screwfix. Had difficulty completing the final set up of the key fobs and key pad - my fault - not being tech savy or reading the instructions properly!
We phoned Garador and was put through to their Tech support - fanastic help and support in talking me through the process and making it easy to do. A pleasure to deal with, speedy, efficient and professional support. Highly recommended.

Garage door Replacement
We have just had two single doors replaced on our detached garage with Garador automatic doors which were fitted in 3 hours
We can only say we no longer get leaves blowing under the door and very secure doors so convenient and easy to use should of converted years ago !! Well done Garador

My garage door is 18 years old. I had a problem with a worn bracket on the inside of the handle and I needed a replacement. Garador identified the part and put one in the post for me FOC. What wonderful service for which I am really grateful.

Appalling quality door with an unfit for purpose design. Floods the garage on my new build every time it rains.
Garador were arrogant and dismissive, I really ought to get round to starting legal proceedings in the new year.

Very poor design and non-existent customer service. Ashton Chevron timber doors have received two coats of pr Omer, two under coats and two top coats, all Dulux Weathershield. Doors are in a metal frame that is so poorly designed it channels water to the bottom of the timber, where it is then absorbed from the inside. The doors are brand new and the inner timber panels are saturated and will rot in no time at all. I rang Garador....and they are not interested, stating that my warranty is completely void as I painted them myself. Avoid at all cost, I wish I had.

I agree with all the other negative reviews.Firstly they are poorly designed and poorly manufactured.Secondly the warranty is not worth the paper its written on and thirdly customer service is NON EXISTENT. Is this the sort of company you want to deal with.My advice.........Stay away!!! I wish i had!!! My Garage door has not worked properly since the day it was installed in case people wonder why I am so negative of Garador.

Tried to claim on their 10 year warranty for a standard non electric door. They said send them lots of details and photos which we did. Within minutes a very long and obviously standard reply came back saying we were not covered.
Main crux that door had to be professionally serviced every 6-12 months. Really? We don’t use the garage much in any case, but who has their garage door serviced this often?

Not really what you'd expect from a local company that believes there product is the best on the market. Door was installed on the 22nd February 2020, six months later it still isn't working correctly despite numerous adjustments. Garador have now decided that the original bow arm mechanism is not suitable for the canopy door and that the 'old' 'original' bow arm assembly will work. Still waiting for this to be fitted by a Garador approved installer. They talk a good product but that's not our experience.

Sadly this was not the experience I would expect from a professional company..The quality of the door was poorly made with a 10mm gap surrounding the frame.. After asking them to resolve this Laura passes the responsibility to the manufacturer who said the door was made to specifications.. This is not a cheap door at over £600 Definitely not worth the money!!

So far no issues with the actual garage door opener, however both remote controls have failed, I contacted Garador to see if they were under warranty as they were only 4 years old, but no, I need to fork out £50 per remote for replacements. The remotes are very cheaply made, with poor quality plastics, they can't cost more than £5 to make in China so that fact you have to fork out £50 for a replacement is an insult to their customers. This has put me off using this company in the future,

I had a new electric door fitted in november 2019. It was a very good experience and I was really pleased.

It was fitted very quickly on the day promised. I would highly recommend them.

You'd be better boarding up your garage door with chipboard than paying money to this crowd..I've met more honourable gypsies than this lot!

I bought a Garador Horizon Canopy door in 2011 from TheGarageDoorKing.co.uk.
The torsion cable had come loose and jammed the door, I rang TheGarageDoorKing who disowned responsibility and referred me to Garador. Gardor in turn disowned any responsibility, referring me back to TheGarageDoorKing.
Garador sales brochure deceptionally claim to provide, quote
"The door mechanism and steel frame
(if applicable) is covered by the 10 year
warranty period.". unquote, I hereby rename their motto to:
"Deceiving Garage Door owners in the UK since 1952"

crap falls to bits after couple of years handle falls off after a month replacements do the same locks only catches one side stay away.
Sales people told me it is very secure as it has this that and the other there just 2 bits of plastic at the top that catches not very secure telephoned them numerous times not at all helpfull.
