When in store ordered a dining table and 6 chairs signed all paperwork happy with price. 10 mins later get a phone call I’ve given you to much discount it’s over £100 more sorry. Surely once you’ve signed a deal that’s it but not ok this occasion. Poor customer service not happy

On entering the store we was greated with a friendly smile. Jonathan-bed specialist sales consultant. Was very helpful and explained everything to us. He was very approachable and we never felt rushed to make a decision. My main aim was a uplift recliner for my husband because of medical needs. He showed us the uplift recliners, explained how they worked. and let us take our time for my husband to try the recliner. I can't thank him enough for all his help.
We bought G plan uplift recliner and settee. Jonathan definitely knew is products and how they worked.

Craig Stirland was very helpful and was able to answer all the questions I asked him about the
Leather recliner chair.
The Sheffield showroom is spacious, well laid out and with plenty of staff to advise.
Also easy parking and access.

Great service unfortunately for me the wife loves the stuff in here but the customer service is excellent so makes it a good experience

Spent over £1500 on a dining table and chairs only for the set to be delivered with one chairs damaged and one chair missing, wnt back into the store to be told by the general manager it's not his problem it's a warehouse issue and there is nothing he can/will do.

Good customer service jez was very helpful explained everything we needed to know made us feel at ease and was not pushy

I’m not very happy with the customer service’s I’m trying to contact them about delivery and no one answers or returns my call after a lot of attempts and left messages

The customer service was excellent, not too pushy and allowing us to browse the showroom without interruption. The staff were very friendly, informative and approachable- I’d recommend Furniture village 👌🏼

Very disappointing experience with Furniture Village.

We placed an order in good faith 3 weeks ago but today we received several contradictory calls regarding an important part of the sofa specification.

At around 10:00 am, we were contacted and asked to confirm which side the additional piece should be positioned on.

At around 1:00 pm, we were then told that there was a problem making this extra piece electrically operated, despite this being part of the specification agreed when we placed the order. As Furniture Village appeared unable to supply what had been agreed, we immediately asked to cancel the order.

At around 1:45 pm, we received another call saying that the extra piece could in fact be made electric after all.

We were also told that **Furniture Village/the supplier had not previously added this particular extra electric piece to this sofa configuration, that they would be doing it for us for the first time, and that they would not be offering this modification again in the future.**

This raised further concerns for us. This is an expensive sofa incorporating multiple electric/smart functions, and being told that our particular configuration had apparently not been produced before made us worried about its future reliability, the possibility of faults or breakdowns, and whether replacement parts or repairs for this unusual configuration would be straightforward.

By this point, after receiving conflicting information about whether the agreed configuration was even possible and then learning that ours would apparently be the first and only such modification, we no longer felt confident proceeding with the purchase.

I therefore went to the store at around 2:30 pm and again asked to cancel the order.

I was told that cancellation would involve a 25% charge because the order supposedly could not be cancelled with the supplier.

I asked for written confirmation or evidence that the supplier had actually refused cancellation, but this was not provided. I also asked to speak to the manager and was told that the manager was not available and that I should call again the following day. When I asked for the manager's name, I was not given a clear name.

What concerns me most is that Furniture Village was still contacting us that same morning to clarify the configuration of the order, and later that day was discussing whether an important part of the agreed specification could even be manufactured, yet only a few hours later we were being told that the order could not be cancelled without a substantial 25% charge.

We have now made a formal complaint and requested
cancellation with a full refund and no cancellation penalty

I will update this review depending on how Furniture Village responds.

At present, I am extremely disappointed with the contradictory communication, lack of transparency and the way our cancellation request has been handled. After this experience, we have simply lost confidence in proceeding with such a significant purchase.

No pressure selling the salesman was excellent he let us look then was very helpful when we needed him .

The gentleman was very polite and very helpful he answered every question I asked about the settees I was looking at I have phoned him up about something I forgot to ask he was more than helpful I'm looking for some more furniture next year and I would highly recommend your store Joe was very helpful and explained everything
