Bought kit to reseal motorcycle tank. Kit does not contain enough sealer to cover tank internally so have had to order some more sealer. Sealer coverage is also very thin. Very poor product. I have used this before some years ago and it was much better then. Not sure if additional sealer will adhere to the sealer already applied. Very disappointing for the price charged. I would not recommend it’s use.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, and I’ve gone back and forth about posting this one. The reason being, I’ve had no luck getting updates through emails about an ongoing issue with an order — and it’s starting to get frustrating.

First off, I want to say that Frost offers a fantastic range of products for auto restoration. I regularly buy paints, cleaners, rust treatments, and sheet metal from them, and I’ve always been happy with the quality. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them based on those products alone, and I’ll likely continue to order from them in the future.

That said, I placed an order for some Eastwood throatless electric shears back in early March. Unfortunately, they arrived faulty and had to be sent back for a replacement. Since then, it’s been a bit of a mess. Frost didn’t have any replacements in stock at the time, and now — months later in July — I’m still waiting. Every time I email for an update, the expected arrival date changes. What’s worse is that there’s no communication unless I reach out first. I’ve sent three separate emails over three months, and I’m still without the shears.

I get that some of their products come from the States and that delays happen, but from a customer service perspective, this has been really disappointing — especially as a regular customer. It’s frustrating feeling like if I didn’t chase them up every month, I might be forgotten entirely, without a refund or replacement.

To be clear, I still recommend Frost for their product range — they really do offer some great stuff. But this particular situation has been a letdown.
