I have been through a lot over the years and the staff at Freedom has always gone out of their way to make process easy and smooth. Calls get answered fast and dealt with promptly. When one is going through health issues it is a real blessing not to have to worry about admin.

Very hard to deal with and non sensical…
Very hard to deal with and non sensical rules regarding authorisation that ends up costing more in the long run. No reflection of no claims in fee setting for following year.

A tolerable experience tarnished by the lack of clarity when I had to make a claim. That being said, all is sorted now. I'll be sticking with Freedom and have suggested to friends and family that they consider Freedom when looking at their options.

Been a client for five years
Been a client for five years. They take the absolute mick with premiums. No claims in past 12 months and goes up 20% a year. They entice you with low premium to start and then chuck it on after.

Knee surgery
I recently had to get knee surgery organised through Freedom and dealt with a lady called Desiree. My surgery booking required authorisation and I was given a deadline by the hospital of when I needed authorisation. Desiree totally understood my needs and assured me that they would do it in time despite it being the next day deadline. I logged in this morning to see everything that the hospital required and the date is locked in. Desiree is a real asset to the team and has such a calm demeanour which put me at ease. A real compliment to Freedom Health Insurance. Thank you so much team!

Works fine, since you just pay, but if you need their help, the help that they are obliged to, you get nothing, just silly reasons why they do not cover your treatment. A warning for everyone, not to choose this company!!!!!

Poor experience
Wow, the pain in my knee is nothing compared to the ordeal of dealing with this only to see an osteopath. In my 20 years of experience with private health providers, this has been by far the most complicated one.

Holly, the customer service adviser was tremendous. She liaised internally and ensured that my claim was considered appropriately, after another adviser had earlier refused to accept the claim. Once accepted, Holly processed the administration very efficiently.
