Very helpful and efficient

Honestly I wouldn’t even give them a star but I had to for the sake of this review. Absolutely shocking do not go for this insurance company. This isn’t even myself I’m complaining about my girlfriend got into an accident and they wrote off her car. First of all didn’t even notify her that her car was wrote off, my girlfriend followed up with the garage. Therefore meaning she wouldn’t have been insured to drive with no notification whatsoever. And also was told on the phone that they were gonna hold the money until she bought a car which isn’t even legal. And was on the phone for 2 hours, and ended up speaking to the same person we started with. Still a going issue. Joke of a company.

Good price and simple and easy to insure online

We just spent an hour on a chat via the Ford Insure website with one simple question. None of the 4 operatives could answer as they were not Ford Insurance operatives?!! Sort out the Customer Service - it's ridiculous that I am told to my question " I would like an answer to the following please - I have recently got a new Ford Puma on A Personal Contract Hire agreement. If my vehicle should be written off within the first year, would my insurance replace the vehicle with another brand new vehicle, although I am not the registered keeper due to it being Ford personal contract hire ?

Answer - 'generally, yes'. That's not good enough! Could not give a real answer.

My renewal premium has increased every single year despite no change in my circumstances.

Same car. Same address. Same mileage. 4 years No Claims Bonus.
Only claim on the policy was a non-fault windscreen claim, which does not affect NCB.

Last year’s premium: £1,557
This year’s renewal offer: £1,894

That’s an increase of over £330 for no increased risk.

When challenged, the insurer hid behind generic explanations and claimed this was the best possible price, reducing it by only £70, which is frankly insulting. No real justification was provided for the repeated year-on-year increases other than “pricing models”.

This feels like nothing more than loyalty penalty pricing dressed up as compliance. If this is how existing customers are treated, I’d strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

I will not be renewing.

No long waiting time and easy to get the information required. Manufacturer added options at time of build is included. Aftermarket PPF is accepted also.

Great staff and helpful

The lady I spoke with was ok until I told her that I was cancelling my policy and objected to paying approximately £90 cancellation charge. I know Insurers are in business to make money but I don’t understand why I’m being penalised for no longer having a car. Funny how attitudes change from positive, when taking out a policy, to negative when cancelling. Perhaps, like Ford, I should also charge an admin fee, given the time it has taken me to deal with this matter, whilst recovering from surgery.

Easy application with known, trusted companies.
Use of genuine Ford parts guarantee is a good asset, as is level of cover.
The website itself seems quite easy to navigate.

Quote through Ford as bought new car and it was very competitive, so transferred to Ford from existing provider.
