Atrocious customer service
Atrocious customer service. Tried to resolve an issue regarding caps that have come off the wheel axis and been lost. Dreadful attitude and unwilling to resolve amicably despite advising the lawnmower was purchased in May this year. Now forced to make a claim with my credit card company to recover the cost of the lawnmower which could have been resolved for the cost of a couple of these caps which are pennies and should be supplied under warranty. They claim their policy changed at the beginning of November. Caveat emptor.
Should be called Flygrass!
Inherited a Flymo Easi glide 300V and what a pile of crap! It's build quality is not great and as other reviewers have stated it blows more grass around than picks up- should more accurately be called Flygrass! I spent more time brushing up grass from surrounding paths and patio than cutting the grass.
I've since bought a Powerbase mower from Homebase, while the build quality still isn't great at least it picks up grass. The Flymo us off to the tip and I will avoid all Flymo products for the rest of my life!

Had current easi glide 300 for just 18 months, fan blade broke. Build quality not as good as previous one, plastics flimsy. New blade £35 inc postage, a third price of new flymo. Bought Bosch mower, much sturdy than flymo. Avoid flymo.

Always had cheap Flymo which was not good, first person to get Flymo robotic and after years of use I probably spend more time spending finding out were the cable is damage/connects loose pulling up the wire replacing it. I could honestly rip it up and Chuck it at Mr flymos head. Review made me take all bad language out lol
Never buy a Flymo
Always had a Flymo as been a great mower but recently bought the Easy Glide 300, it is only 2 months into warranty and the handle screw kept coming off, I kept re applying and now it has come off and disappeared. I can't get through to any number that Flymo supply, they don't answer emails. Totally disappointed in the service that I thought was a reputable brand. I have even tried to buy the handle screws online and can't find the correct ones for the product number. In addition the grass flies around everywhere and didn't have that on my last one. Not entirely sure what to do next :( It does say that Flymo will know about my review but slim chance of them responding.

What a pike of junk after having had a previous flymo for 20 plus years which was built well, sturdy, cut well and picked the grass up well. Now compared to a new flymo easiglide 330 purchased today there is absolutely no comparison. The new one is very flimsy cheap plastic. It sounds like it is going to blow up when using it with a lot of vibration and also hardly sucks up any grass; just blows it around. Don't waste your money. I will never buy Flymo again.My review is copied and pasted from a previous review. The cable has even been made shorter, it’s flimsy, the blade is thinner and it’s just a cheap mower at a ridiculous price. I used it once and wish I had measured the cable first, unable to finish lawn. Same model as I had previously, penny pinching! Avoid!

Do not buy a Flymo
It’s a shame I JH age to give Flymo at least one star. Would not prefer to give any. Recent experience with customer service beggars belief. My 330 Glide master died. Contacted the warranty line as it under 2 years old. Getting through was a painful experience. Provided flymo with proof of purchase. Was promised delivery in 5 days. Waited 10 days. No courtesy of contacting me so I rang. Only to be told there is ware house issues. New 330 arrived and that is faulty! Again an age to get through to customer services. New replacement machine eventually collected and again promise from Flymo they will replace the machine. The faulty one has been in their possession but no courtesy to let me know when they are dispatching new one. Now the customer service phone line has been closed and communication by email only. I have emailed every day but not even the courtesy of a reply. Poor, poor service from a company that appears to work part time. To everyone out there do not buy a Flymo
Flymo. No fly any mo.
Bought a Flymo Easy Glide Plus 360. All singing all dancing (so claimed). Out of the box flimsy feel to all the component parts. Hover nil, very hard work to move over grass which it did not cut. Height of cut adjusted with blade removal, and spacers inserted, accessed by plastic spanner on a plastic nut. If you have had Flymo's in the past, do not associate new models with these, they are not the same mowers. Avoid!
Flymo easy-glide 350 faulty from new
I bought a Flymo 350 Easyglide last week. I suspect the Thermal switch is faulty as the machine won’t start for about 1/2 hr. if it has been used even for a few minutes.
Supplier not interested, Flymo haven’t responded to an E mail query last week.

I have bought a Flymo 400 turbo in April which has stopped working. Customer Service is hopeless...not responding to my e mails. Staff are all working from home but that is no excuse for very poor customer service. We have had Covid for 16 months...surely they could have sorted things out better by now.

2021 Flymo EasyGlide 360 should not be on the market as it destroys all Flymo's credibility.
I am 80 next year and have only ever bought Flymo [from when they were blue in the '70s].
Until this year I believed the Flymo was the best and could not understand why anyone would buy another brand. Quietest, lightest and picked up 99% of the grass.
I tried two 2021 360s, both have been noisy but they have inherent design fault in that there is no suction. This means the grass is cut but left on the lawn.
I have spent hours on the phone with Argos, Flymo and their Service Centre. No solution. To make it worse Agos accepted the faulty Flymo back but the store says it only gives credit notes. Two weeks later. No Flmo No refund.
I have now bought genuine affordable Flymo spare parts and repaired my old Flymo Glider 350 and it sounds like a quiet sewing machine AND picks up the grass!
My solicitors are now involved, but to what cost for £135?

Do not buy Flymo. The most elusive customer service ever. I have a faulty battery on a hedge trimmer which is under warranty. I've submitted several requests for help using the online form as requested. NO RESPONSE. Complaint email - NO RESPONSE. I've been round in circles on the phone trying to speak to a person which ultimately is a dead end and the apparent 'live chat' is invisible on their website. 'Going digital' I think means vanishing after sale.

The button to activate it was too stiff (had to have an iron grip to use it for more than 30 seconds).
The wire spool, got stuck all the time and had to be adjusted constantly just to work
Was also too heavy.

my G330 burnt our after approx 5 years use which surprised me. After a great deal of grief i finally got the cover off and was amazed to find it packed SOLID with grass cuttings im amazed it never caught fire! there are NO recomendations that it needs regular cleaning and considering how difficult it is to remove the cover no surpise I have contacted them --its out of warranty so contact an authrorised service centre, very helpfull !!
Worst customer service ever
I have a wheeled lawnmower and need a new lower handle part number 590577301. Flymo does no offer spare online and after submitting a parts inquiry I am contacted by a company called 4ourhouse who state via a no-reply email account that I need part 3079336OH which is incorrect. Flymo do not offer call support and when I managed to contact someone at 4ourhouse who advised they cannot provide the part I need they suggested I contact flymo meaning I am going round in circles. To mix up the strategy I used the flymo online chat and after they also stated I need the incorrect part they confirmed that they cannot supply me with the correct part and that the manafacturer would need to be contacted. Turns out the flymo chat is powered by 4ourhouse. I am unable to discuss any of this with an actual flymo emplyoee. An utterly shambolic company. If anyone is interested, I will be making Tshirts for sale online to advertise my adverse experience.

This company are refusing to give me my money back on an order I cancelled within the cancelation period. Their customer service is non existent and nobody gets back to you. They have basically stolen £70 from me. Never buy from these sharks
Flymo ST Mini strimmer
I have been a Flymo fan every since I brought my first house 35 years ago and must confess that up until now have been impressed. However have purchased a Flymo strimmer ST Mini and it is the worst strimmer I have ever had. I spend more time sorting out & feeding the cutting wire through the spool than I do actually cutting the edges! Useless product!!

I have purchased Flymo lawnmowers for nearly 40 years and have always been happy with the design and performance. I have just purchased the new flymo easiglide 300 to replace my 10 year old easiglide which has just broken. The new version is the worst flymo I have ever had. It's very cheap made and sprays grass every where, will never buy flymo again.

Flymo EasiGlide 330 Purchased from Argos to replace Aldi rotary mower on wheels . Had used Flymo hover mowers in the past and found them to be quite good at cutting and grass removal and thought the latest model can only be better. How wrong was I. Doesnt cut well and the bit it does cut it blows around the garden over the paths and plants creating more work tidying up than cutting the lawn .If your looking to replace your lawn mower do your self a favour and dont buy one of these unless your good at dealing with disappointment.
