I’ve just finished my second Flashback tour (Vietnam & Cambodia) and loved every minute of it! Our guides, Hai and Chenda, were truly outstanding — always available, helpful, approachable, and incredibly personable. They consistently went the extra mile and made sure everyone felt cared for and supported throughout the journey. I recommend them 100%.

Hai (Vietnam) added a wonderful personal touch by filming our experiences and creating a video at the end — such a thoughtful gesture and beautiful memories to take home.

Chenda (Cambodia) continued to support me even after the tour ended, as I stayed on longer. She helped organise and recommend a guide for further exploration — she was an absolute gem

I have recently returned from the 12 day Escapism in the Philippines tour, which was my first with Flash Pack. It was an incredible, 10/10 experience, and one I will never forget. I can’t recommend this trip enough- it was a dream come true.

Our pack leader Rupert Andres was absolutely fantastic and cannot be faulted. Having been on group tours with other companies, Rupert stood out as someone who is truly excellent at his job. He went above and beyond at all times to make sure that that we all had the best time, dealing with any issues (such as a cancelled internal flight) calmly and always with confidence. We felt in the safest of hands with Rupert.

Rupert’s knowledge and passion for Filipino culture and food stood were the cherry on the top of a really well thought-out itinerary. Rupert took the time to get to know each of us, and was very happy to help us all with travel plans after the organised tour had ended. A real gent. All of the local guides we met along the way were equally fantastic, and it was a pleasure to meet them all.

Our group of 8 really jelled, and it felt like the perfect sized group for a 12 day trip. The trip itself was a perfect mixture of exploring tropical islands and adventurous activities. I was particularly impressed by the food (thanks to Rupert’s recommendations, which were always spot on). Highlights for me were camping under the stars in Ginto Island and stand up paddle boarding in Bohol.

I would recommend this trip to anyone, and will cherish the memories of it forever.

Wow wow wow flashpack you were awesome so was Sri Lanka. 🇱🇰. This was by far the best most organised tour with like minded people I have ever been on. We would get off our bus straight into
Tuk Tuks or a Safari truck they were literally waiting for our arrival. It’s worth the extra money: accommodation, food first class. Our group is still in contact from all around the world. Could not have asked for a better leader thanks to Razz proper top bloke right there.

Recently came back from the Vietnam/Cambodia trip. Was a fantastic adventure with so many highlights (Halong Bay, Hoi An, Moped tour in Saigon, Angkor Wat). Was a lot of travelling but necessary for seeing so many sights in such a fascinating part of the world. Special shout out to our guides, Hai in Vietnam and Chenda in Cambodia. Both were really helpful and made the trip so special with their attentiveness.

I just returned from the Domincan Republic. Wow! With the curated itinerary and our incredible tour leader (Gipsy), we were introduced to the vibrant culture, people and places of the Dominican Republic. Gipsy was so knowledgable, passionate and thoughtful. She helped us to have amazing experiences and create meaningful connections.

The Tanzania trip was insane! The itinerary was perfect, packed with plenty of activities and then ending on the beaches of Zanzibar to decompress was done well. This was my 3rd FP trip and Lenny was far-and-away THE BEST pack leader! We did not have one single issue and I can't imagine that was all luck. I could tell he was subtly mitigating concerns and quietly reading the group so he was excellent at anticipating all our needs and course corrected seamlessly.

I had the time of my life exploring vietnam. The guides were top notch and went above and beyond from start to finish. The trip was expertly paced, offering a seamless mix of planned events and delightful moments. It was an intensive trip that kept the momentum going from the beginning and I even added a few extra days at the end to unwind. My first flash pack trip and definitely not my last.

I’ve done two trips with Flash Pack now, one to Norway and I just got back from Colombia, and both were outstanding in every possible way. The tour leaders truly make the experience, but the accommodations, food, and activities are all top-tier. Everything feels thoughtful, seamless, and special. I’ve already planned my third trip, I’m officially hooked!

Hands down one of the best trips I have ever taken in my life. Our leader, Oscar, was magnificent, friendly, and helpful, and immediately became part of our group. I wish every Flash Pack adventure had him at the helm. The activities were spectacular, things that you could not book on your own. The hotels were great, the food was fantastic, and I look forward to booking more FP adventures.

I had an amazing time on my Exotic Cambodia trip. The group was really good and our guide James was awesome providing us with so many 'Wow' moments!! My best moment was watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat. This was my 4th Flashpack trip and I will definitely be booking another one, just got to decide which one.

Brillliant leader. Fabulous experience throughout. It was strange having a married couple in the group though. And a couple of people that complained about everything, so I hope thier opinion doesn’t sway anyone from booking.

I’ve just finished a Flash Pack trip in the Philippines and honestly, I’m still glowing from the experience.

First and foremost, I have to give a huge shout-out to our incredible tour leader, Rupert Andres. Rupert was laid-back, extremely knowledgeable, and made a genuine effort to connect with every single person in the group. He went completely above and beyond for me personally as I was celebrating my 40th birthday in El Nido. On the day, we went island hopping and Rupert surprised me with a birthday cake — a moment I’ll never forget. He is kind, caring, funny, and without a doubt the best tour leader I’ve ever come across.

Our group was just 8 people from all over the world, which turned out to be the perfect size. We truly got to know one another and bonded over shared life experiences — it honestly felt like we were all meant to meet.

The tour itself was very well planned, with the perfect balance of activities and downtime. My favourite experiences were camping on Ginto Island under the stars in mesh tents, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, and stand-up paddleboarding in Bohol — absolutely magical.

Every crew member we met throughout the trip was friendly, warm, and a genuine joy to be around.

And the food… wow. I arrived with very low expectations based on what I’d heard about Filipino food — how wrong I was! The key is travelling with a Filipino who knows exactly what to order. Rupert never let us down and consistently ordered an incredible selection of delicious food throughout the trip.

The islands themselves were breathtaking, and the local people were so welcoming and happy to interact with us.

While the price of the trip was more than I usually spend on travel, it was 100% worth it. The quality of the hotels, service, and experiences fully reflected the cost.

I was very nervous about travelling solo, but this is truly the perfect way to do it.

I had the most amazing time and will be forever thankful and grateful for this experience.

This was my 5th/6th Flashpack and it did not disappoint. And I’m saying this as someone who has previously provided balanced feedback on some other trips - the Cambodia trip is INCREDIBLE.

James our guide was nothing short of extraordinary- he made sure we saw the absolute best of Cambodia. I have never had so many wow moments which he went above and beyond to create - a blessing by his father was something I will never forget.

The itinerary was action packed which I love, we did a bit of everything - exploring temples, food tours, fishing, visiting a monastery, integrating with local families and community projects, learning how the locals live and how they survived such a horrific regime.

Our itinerary was changed due to the unrest at the border, but James ensured this didn’t impact the diversity of our itinerary. He was always adding in little extras (optional of course) but ensuring we had the opportunity to feel like we’d seen the best of Cambodia. When staying at the farmhouse James created some hilarious games for us to play at dinner which was a lovely touch in bringing the group together - there was a lot of laughter around the table!

The accommodation on this trip was great - all in all one of the better curations I’ve had on a Flashpack! I was previously conscious of the level of driving on the trip, but actually this wasn’t noticeable as we had various stops along the way.

What a trip! I can’t believe how many facets of Cambodia we experienced in just 11 days. The itinerary certainly covered the obligatory highlights, but what made it really special were the ‘wow’ moments that made us feel like we were getting to know day-to-day Cambodian life and supporting the community. The biggest ‘wow’ award goes to our guide James, who was the perfect blend of organized, knowledgeable and hilarious… he made so many unique & magical moments happen that I will never forget.

Just returned from Vietnam and Cambodia and our guides were amazing. Hai (Vietnam) and Nak (Cambodia) were just the best two guides that you could hope to meet. We even got welcome scarves and drinks from Nak when we arrived at the Cambodian border. Two amazing, helpful and knowledgeable guides xx

I had high hopes for my first Flash Pack trip but the reality was better than I could have dreamed up! I am convinced that my Flash Pack cohort is the best one that has ever existed. I made friends that I will keep forever, and our group is already trying to coordinate our next trips together. Our pack leader, Oscar, is an absolute gem and made our trip incredible. The activities were things I never would have made happen on my own, and being able to just get to enjoy myself while I got carted around to do fun things and learn about the country was the best. Basically it was like the best adult camp ever. I booked my next trip before my flight had even departed Colombia. Truly can't say enough good things!

I recently enjoyed an incredible 8-day trip to Cuba, made truly unforgettable thanks to our fantastic guide, Arley, and driver, Ray. From start to finish, they were simply outstanding. Their warm personalities kept us laughing throughout the journey, and they went above and beyond to help us immerse ourselves in the rich history, culture, and everyday life of Cuba.

Safety and comfort were always their top priorities — whether it was ensuring there was plenty of water on the bus at all times, making sure we got home safely each evening after our nights out, or being on hand to translate whenever needed. Even after hours, we loved sitting down with them for chats and laughs, which added a wonderful personal touch to the experience.

Cuba itself is a fantastic country, and this trip offered the perfect balance of exploring both the tourist highlights and the authentic, everyday Cuban life. We had the unique opportunity to visit a women’s refugee centre in Trinidad that supports local women and children, as well as enjoy a classic car tour in Havana, blending both the cultural and iconic aspects beautifully.

Our accommodation in both Havana and Trinidad was amazing, but the highlight was definitely the hotel in Trinidad, run by a local family who truly went above and beyond for us — regularly checking if anyone was missing from breakfast or needed anything to make their stay more comfortable.

The only downside was the uneven roads, which made for a bit of travel sickness. I would strongly recommend anyone prone to motion sickness to bring plenty of remedies with them.

Overall, I couldn’t have had a better time in Cuba. Thanks to Arley and Ray, this trip was not only enjoyable but genuinely immersive — fulfilling a bucket list dream of mine. I highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to really see and feel the heart of Cuba.

Rupert and his team were absolutely amazing throughout the entire trip. Communication was always clear and timely; we felt informed every step of the way, while also being genuinely well taken care of when it came to logistics, personal preferences, and any concerns that came up.

Rupert consistently went above and beyond to minimize risks and make everything run smoothly. This included prioritizing our luggage on domestic flights, being mindful of food and health safety throughout the trip (even on free days), and sharing trusted recommendations for reputable service providers for optional activities.

What really stood out was Rupert’s passion: for sharing his country with us, for supporting his local community (not just himself), and for good food. He made sure we experienced authentic Filipino cuisine, and it was clear how much pride he takes in showcasing it. I also loved the extra activities like the fireflies experience and secret lagoon kayaking, which would be fantastic inclusions to future itineraries.

The rest of Rupert’s crew (Bart, Beth, and team) were equally wonderful, ensuring our safety and comfort during all water transfers and activities. Chef Paul and Chef Ruri were incredibly attentive to our culinary experience, well prepared for dietary requirements and allergies, and even packed very specific ingredients to make sure everyone felt included and had the best possible experience.

Rupert frequently went the extra mile by partnering with knowledgeable local guides, giving us deeper cultural insight rather than just beautiful scenery. He also coordinated timings to give us exclusive experiences. As a bonus, he volunteered his professional photography and drone videography - which completely blew us away and was truly the cherry on top.

Sri Lanka was captivating. The itinerary was fun, well curated, and covered a lot of ground in 12 days. The highlight of the tour was Suren, who is clearly passionate about his country and its travelers. Suren was dynamic, charismatic, hilarious, thoughtful, and made sure that each group member had the experience they needed. Suren often went beyond the itinerary to accommodate special requests without hesitation. Count yourself lucky if he is your guide!

First time with flashpack and i'll definitely be back again! I had a great time on the alternative thailand tour - our leader Pooky was amazing! she made us feel like family from the start, had a great sense of humor, helped us learn about thai culture and food, and communicated well throughout the trip about our plans for the day and what to expect. There were several meals that we had together family style that she did the ordering for us ahead of time, she was good to make sure to take the food allergies of everyone into account and a i appreciated getting to try several different dishes i probably wouldn't have ordered on my own.

Helpful things happened that i didn't expect but were great touches to the travel experience: having an extra bunk reserved on the overnight train to store our large suitcases, and having the ability to have a couple hotel rooms with late checkout on the day in bangkok to freshen up after a sweaty day of temple sightseeing.

I loved the trip to Koh Sok national park because of the scenery, which is basically why i booked the trip. i wish we could've spent a couple more hours there to swim/kayak and could've done without the hike on our first and only evening there in favor of just soaking up the scenery at our floating hotel. Our hotel in Krabi had a million-dollar view that i loved soaking in from the rooftop pool. Had so much fun on the jetski excursion and beach club night out in phuket.

If there is one thing i wish flashpack would change about the itinerary is to skip the overnight train. I'm not sure why we couldn't have stayed one more night in bangkok and taken a short morning flight to krabi rather than the 10 hour journey on the train + another 2 hour drive. I know its a "local experience" and was outlined on the itinerary, but it was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on the train bunkbeds and seemed a bit out of place for a company that's boasting about having elevated stays.
