If I could put zero stars I would

If I could put zero stars I would! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Booked a holiday to Cape Verde with them after years of booking with TUI directly.
Changed the direct debit date in April due to it being way after payday so wished it to be in the same day. The new payment table said next payment date will be 1st June. I thought brilliant!
Went on a few days ago to check something for the holiday to be shown as cancelled!!
After speaking with someone the day after over the phone I was advised an email way sent on the 7th May (to my junk mail) stating there was a missed payment. Then on the 8th May another email (to my junk mail again) was sent about the holiday being cancelled.
no one contacted me via phone call about any missed payment or this would have been paid. I was then told I only had 24 hours from the cancellation email to reinstate and pay it.
So now the money I had paid for the past few months is gone… I was then told I had to pay a £400 cancellation fee but this could be wavered if I booked a new holiday from scratch (ie deposits etc paid all over again) YEAH RIGHT!
Do not be fooled but the couple of £100 pounds off go directly with TUI!
This company is an absolute joke and I will NEVER book a holiday again with them and I will also make sure no family or friends do!
The couple we were going away with have since cancelled their holiday too, due to all of this so in total £5200 they will not be getting from us!
Ridiculous!

Thank you for your feedback, and I am very sorry to hear your holiday was cancelled due to non payment. Thank you for also providing us with your booking reference number so that we could look into this further for you.
I can see that the most recent direct debit set up had failed to be taken on 1st May and so on 6th May a text message was sent to the number provided at the time of booking, to advise that a payment must be made within 24 hours to avoid cancellation.
There was then also a reminder sent by email to you on 7th May, however unfortunately as there had still been no payment made, the Finance Team then cancelled the booking on 8th May.
As we understand that sometimes this can be overlooked, we can sometimes re-instate the booking within 24 hours of cancellation depending on availability, but unfortunately as 8 days had passed when you contacted us, we were unable to do this, I do apologise.
I can only apologise if you had not received our communications, however we must stress that it is customer responsibility to ensure we have up to date contact details for any important updates we may send.
I am so sorry for your experience on this occasion, if you would like to discuss the booking further, please do not hesitate to contact our team on 0203 451 2690.

1st online booking experience

I haven't booked a holiday since 2018 & that time i went into a travel agent. I was apprehensive about booking online, but the website was easy to search through, excellent choices & great value for money. I will definitely book again with first choice.

Easy to use website, could be made even better

Easy to use website, easy to filter different options to narrow search to individual requirements.
One thing i would add the ability to do is being able to toggle hold luggage for 1 or both passengers and also seats (standard, which can be changed later) to main search filters ie you can go in to filter on rating, board, etc.. but also toggle these options on so that you can see total prices on main search without having to click in to each holiday option and add them on.. takes ages especially if you ste looking at various locations where these things will have different costs and you are also trying to do a cost comparison across other providers... it takes hours....

Booked an holiday and they have canceled it

Booked an holiday. Direct debit got set up and everything and then by some reason they have cancelled my holiday and demanding us to pay £600 cancellation fee when we didn't even plan to cancel the holiday .disgusting service .Big scam

I am very sorry to hear your holiday was cancelled. Upon investigating this further, I can see that due to an issue with the Direct Debit mandate, this was unable to be set up initially. Our Finance team did contact you via text message the day after booking to advise of this and that you could set up a new Direct Debit or pay a deposit within 24 hours to avoid cancellation. I can see that upon speaking with our agent after cancellation you advised you did receive this text message but did not set up a new direct debit or contact us. Unfortunately this meant that the holiday was cancelled by the Finance team 9 days later.
No payment was made for the original booking, however you are able to make a new booking on our website if you would like to.
Once again I am very sorry for any disappointment caused due to this cancellation. If you would like to discuss this or need any advice with making a new booking, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will do our best to help for you.

Do not book with First Choice

We’ve booked our first holiday in over 2 years to go Club Marvy in Turkey. I’ve just checked the details and realise that they have provided flights not to the local airport (Izmir) that is 45 mins away, but instead to Bordrum which is 3.5 hours away

They say as I ticked a box saying I’d checked details, that I have to suck it up

It’ll be a miserable start and end to the holiday with 2 small kids in tow

I even paid extra for nicer flight times to ease the travel-experience

Who knew that you had to check they weren’t flying us to a local airport. I’ve never had this experience in all my life

Absolute scheisters and zero customer service

We understand your frustration and disappointment with the flight arrangements for your upcoming holiday.

It's understandable that you're concerned about the inconvenience of travelling to a different airport, especially with young children.

As previously advised, it is the customers responsibility to ensure all the holiday details are correct and meets your criteria, before confirming the booking on the website.

Once the booking was confirmed online, you would have also been provided with a booking confirmation within 24 hours of the Holiday being booked and again, it would be down to the lead passengers responsibility to ensure all the holiday details are correct.

Once again, I do apologise for the inconvenience this has caused for you and your family.

5* customer service

My mother booked a holiday last year through First Choice for June 2025 but due to unforeseen health-related circumstances, she has regrettably had to decide against going though with the holiday as booked. Back in February 2025, we rung though to an agent at First Choice called Cheyenne who was very empathetic, polite and courteous throughout the call. Absolutely fantastic customer service which is hard to come by with a lot of companies these days… me and my family will definitely be booking our next holiday through First Choice when circumstances have improved based on this experience.

Great experience

I am a repeat customer booking with first choice at least twice a year. I find the company unbeatable on price and fantastic value for money. The sales team are knowledgeable,approachable and helpful. I highly recommend booking with First Choice.

I spoke to a luvverly lady called Ann who was a very happy and helpful person. She not only helped with my holiday but also about printing my tickets from EASYJET when ready plus gave me some other very useful tips. Highly recommend her to talk to abt yr holidays etc. So thank you Ann for all your help.
