Absolutely garbage takes ages to get photo verified, been on line 30 mins no joy absolutely dog pooh

Waste of time .. says add a photo for verification .. only takes a few moments .... 5 hours later still carnt access the site ...waiting for varification ..this site is a joke ..same as the moderators that work on the chat .... useless dont bother with this site

I have been using the site for a year and a half. Yes, there are wasters and fakes, but this happens on all sites I've been to. The hard part is to get the first meeting as people look at profiles that have photos and verifications (these are like reviews of the meeting and proof that you've met someone genuine). You can't verify anybody until you have your own first verification. Once that's done, check other people's and see if you'll match. This is a hook up site so decide what you want, don't judge others, and enjoy. Like all sites, there are going to be people to be wary of and personally I block and move on, it saves wasting more time and you can move on to finding someone else. If I get blocked I don't take it personally just move on.

I have put a photo on to verify. It says verified in an hour. Days later nothing. Any ideas on how to get my profile on the site? It just says pending & refresh. Nothing happens.

Fabguys is an easy-to-use website that provides a useful service for guys who want to meet other guys. After joining Fabguys a few months ago, I met some pleasant guys,
However, this last week (mid-August 2023) my account was inaccessible in the sense that I could see it but it disappeared from all other Fabguys users.
There has been no response from the Fabguy administrators to my request for help to reactivate my account and profile. But the website is, apparently, run by volunteers so that has to be allowed for.
There are other contact website for men who want to meet other men so not being on Fabguys is not a problem.

Serious issues with age verification allowing under 18s on to the site who can create false profiles without any effective checks in place- Ive left site because of it and would recommend others to be extremely cautious and make their own decisions as to the risks they are prepared to take, never again

Signed up as a brand new user to both Fabguys and Fabswingers a few weeks ago.

Managed to hook up on Fabguys the night that I signed up and we verified each other - great!

I didn't have time to fill out my bio when I signed up and only got around to it about three days in.

I posted my bio to Fabguys and was instantly flagged for photo verification - why, I was already user verified (no, I didn't connect using his WiFi, I only use mobile data)?! I posted the same bio to Fabswingers and was immediately flagged for photo verification there too.

I have a feeling that it was the line:

'I do not do any illegal substances and I do not wish to meet people who do. Please pass me by.'

I'm guessing they don't like mention of drugs, even though the context here is quite clearly anti-drug use. Yet there are so many members asking to buy drugs who aren't punished, but I'm punished for telling drug users not to message me. Makes perfect sense to me!

There are a lot of drug users on the sites - I've been messaged by a few already, in just a short few weeks. There's a guy constantly posting status updates asking 'to buy snow.' They don't do anything.

I uploaded a verification photo to each site and they were approved in about seven or eight hours (not the one hour it tells you on the verification page) and my accounts were - only partially - restored upon successful verification, which I shouldn't have had to do anyway, because I was user verified.

I can post status updates, search members and exchange messages with other users and I can add myself as available to meet, but I cannot use the forums or post actual listings for meets. Why? No idea, they're ignoring my contact form messages as is their policy!

It clearly says I meet all of the criteria and has big green ticks next to each criteria. Yet I can't post listings, because when they approved my verification picture they didn't restore either account properly, or fully.

I've sent two contact form messages about site bugs, one about an admin making a mistake and one to the owners - on each site, so eight in total.

All four have been ignored and it's been a week. If anyone complains on the forums they get told it's 48 hours and the thread is promptly closed so that the person cannot retort that they're still not receiving a reply. It's been a week and neither account is working and neither set of four contact forms has received a reply. I can't even post on the forums, yet I've done nothing wrong.

The only features of the site that I can't use are the features that are locked behind a timer (72 hours for meet listings and 14 days for the forms) and verification requirements. I meet both of those, indeed on Fabguys I exceed the time limits and I'm both user and now photo verified, but I can't use either feature. I've never even posted on the forums so I can't have a forum ban, because I've never used them. The meet listing ban equally makes no sense. The bans only came into effect when my accounts were reactivated following successful photo verification. It's clearly a bug or an admin hasn't ticked a box they should have when approving the photo verification. Whatever the reason, it's not good enough.

Thank God I hadn't upgraded. I was going to, and I'm so glad I didn't because I don't have full use of the sites and I've done nothing wrong.

These sites are a complete and utter joke and they're run by the most incompetent admins I've ever seen in more than 25 years of using the internet.

I was quite happy to buy silver upgrades on both profiles, but I'm sure as hell not going to now, so they've lost out there. I'd encourage people to seriously consider avoiding upgrading, as if you have any issues with the poorly made websites, they will NOT help you.

The stupid thing is I can use a different e-mail address, change my IP address, make a new profile and use it fine, but why should I have to, especially when I'm getting user verifications and people know me on the account that is half dysfunctional? It shouldn't be a big ask for them to just fix a bug with their own sites. But apparently it is a big ask, in fact it's too much to ask.

What Michael Millington says below is simply not true. If the sites were well run, then the majority of the reviews wouldn't be dreadful, would they? If the sites were so well run, then their happy customers would be showing solidarity and posting good reviews - but they're not. Fact is, they are poorly run. My experiences prove that. I've done absolutely nothing wrong yet my accounts haven't been activated properly. What started as a technical bug has become poor customer service also.

This proves my point, you don't read what people are telling you. As I clearly stated in my review, I DID use the contact form - twice on each site - you ignored them. You do NOT have that many users!!!

An absolutely pathetic site, truly is worse than rubbish, I'm in the process of having the site shut down permanently

By not listening to ridiculous lies as gospel and making legit enquiries and not suspending accounts permanently without giving a legit reason and giving aggrieved user a chance to reply

Fabguys is terrible. Let me explain. After getting verified you get messages from old men asking if you have any children and there ages. Many complain to site moderator but nothing gets done. Fabguys owners are only interested in people to buy silver or gold membership so they can see disgusting photos on others profiles. And not remove these sick members asking for under age children. Just google killers and sex offenders on fabguys you be surprised what you read.

I wouldn't recommend it. The clientele are very fickle .Time wasting is rife . The final straw came today days after I renewed I discovered I'd been permanently banned from the site's discussion boards for some delinquency.
When I complained to the admin they've booted me off the site without a refund.
This site is an utter disgrace Avoid it like the plague and save yourself some cash

great site,i use it to find friends and im very open and honest, be that and you'l be fine.

Site is full of bugs. You can use it for a while, then suddenly can no longer access your profile. Their system says you have an account when you try to log in, but if you loose your password and try to ask for a reset it then says you don't have an account. Very annoying when you are talking to an old friend.

I have been using this site for a few. Years I have to say I find it very easy to use,and I have met some amazing people on fabguys too.I do however feel that fabguys could perhaps give their customers a small bonus for our continuous usage of fabguys

I'm leaving this 1 star because this website is completely trash. These guys are constantly ASKED me for pics and suckchat called snapchat, it's like porn revenge.

Therefore i'm moving onto sleepyboy, rentmen and onlyfans for good.
