A mechanic recommended Formula One Autocentre to me for my car's MOT.

The booking service was simple, the waiting area was lovely, the car had its MOT done at the time it was booked for.
I was very impressed with the whole set up and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Disappointed with the service I received, I am a 27 year old woman and I’m not sure if that is why they thought they could mug me off but I have parents who have both worked as mechanics so I’m knowledgeable when it comes to cars. I booked a full service which was easily done online the night before - the only good part. I was told my car battery which is 2 years old, has a 5 year guarentee with AA is apparently at 47% which is a lie, this has been checked by AA since. I was told my tyres are not aligned, again this was done in November by Kwik Fit and they’re new tyres/wheels so again another lie, they just want money. Especially when they told me my filter/oil needs doing which is a further £150+£65 again this should be included within the full service so not sure why they’re trying to scam people out of money, but I’ll NEVER use these again and will certainly spread the word for people to avoid because luckily I know about cars where some individuals don’t.

This has to be the way to buy tyres: good selection, clearly laid out on Asda Tyres website, speedy fitting date offered, really friendly staff, clean warm waiting room, 15 minutes start to finish. A great service.

Booked mot Online was so easy, dropped vehicle off at said time. Waiting area was very comfortable and tidy. All Staff very professional. Prices very reasonable

Unfortunately this visit went wrong from the start our car was booked in by car supermarket for a 9am appointment on arrival the mechanic was not aware of what needed doing and there was a problem with payment for the job so instead of a 2 hour job we had to leave the car with them all day we were told to be there to pick up before 5 30pm or the car would be locked in on arrival to pick up there were several clients and the promised report was not ready felt they were very rude and I personally will not be using them again

Fantastic service today from Tom at the Peterborough branch…would definitely take my vehicle to be repaired there another time…

Hi been using F1 for years, had a MOT on the car after Tom ringing me to remind me.
Arrived on the day sinking feeling no Tom. Had the MOT failed needs a tyre, not a problem but will have to order, phone call from guy to book me in, two days later fine.
Get there no Tom, “guy for the tyre” yes “retest for MOT that wasn’t booked” and? I asked, “ it won’t be ready until 13:00, “ 4 hours I asked “yes it wasn’t booked in” but it was you that did the booking, “you could walk into town” nope two heart attacks and cancer think not. 55 mins so far will keep you posted

Fantastic and efficient service from the F1 team at Peterborough again. Been using this place for many years. Best place for tyres, cannot recommend highly enough.

Had my car MOT Done here and it had to have some work done. They were excellent, very professional, knowledgeable and friendly, got the work done really quickly. Would definitely recommend and I will go back in the future. Thankyou

Had to clean water tank for windscreen. I went to Peterborough branch near the city center and they refused to do the jobs sending me to the car dealer mechanic telling me that is too much work and expensive.
I went to another mechanic to get a second opinion and they did the job quick and cheap. They even picked me up with their car at home.
Be aware of this people as the seem to be cowboys getting money just to fix easy stuff. My impression is that they don't care about the client. Do yourself a favour and find other mechanic.

Switched back to Formula One after a few years at the branded dealership, and I’m glad that I did. The team was friendly, professional and did a great job of explaining the results of the MOT/service in a clear manner. They were also able to complete the follow-up work quickly. Will definitely be returning next year.

Peterborough Formula one. Bring my car for Mot in great condition, they changed brake pads and car passed mot. When i came to collect my car there was broken eco mode, service lights flashing on the screen and engine fault error showing on the car screen. When i asked them why my car is in that condition after mot they said it’s a coincidence and they can’t do nothing with that.

AFTER 3 months they contacted me (i was asking for an explanation 5 times) and said it’s nothing what they can do with. Be aware of this company.

worst garage ever. always find problems to make alignment not done. car too small or too big... also ordered 2 tyres 3 days before, on the appointment day they say can not change because only junior in garage. garage open till 6pm, I said will come 4 pm Monday or Tuesday, they say too late. order canceled. last time I am using this garage

Peterborough F1 are a very kind and efficient garage. Tom the receptionist is polite and helpful and many thanks to Robert for clear knowledgeable answers to all the technical questions about both the reliable 20-year-old, much loved, car which was being MOTd and also about hybrid vehicles which I am interested in.
