Contacted Formula One Monday morning 30th September. I had a accident in my car and needed 2 tyres asap,.Jake quoted + ordered them for me. They were fitted the same day and I collected the same day wheels were also realigned. First class service I was really impressed.

Kept informed and updated.
Work needed was explained and possibilities of additional work explained as well

Terrible manager whose customer service is absolutely disgusting. Tried to belittle me because of the car I took in. And how much he earns because it makes him better than you. Biggest laugh was he reckons he’s on a 100k a year 🤣🤣🤣
It doesn’t matter what you drive or what you earn you should treat every customer with respect and actually do the job that you were asked to do.

It’s quite overwhelming going to a garage as a woman that knows nothing about cars, but Jake and the team have been really friendly and provided a great service at a really good price on both occasions. Thanks guys!

I have used the Hertford branch many times over the years and always found them very fair and honest.

Had a full service and mot in March 2024. Didn't change air filter oil filter spark plugs and failed mot then passed it then just found out battery is loose because they hadn't even put battery clamp to hold down battery back on. So that's a fail so they passed the mot then failed it them self's straight after. I only found out because the car was misfiring due to spark plugs not being replaced and the garage I took it to said your battery isn't even clamped down bareing in mind they changed the battery as well that is looseing voltage!! Total bodge up job garage I'd give them no stars at all total incapable of doing a service and mot stick to tires lads that's all you can do if that at all.

I'm writing this to warn other drivers thinking of taking your car here take it somewhere professional and reliable honest decent garages are around if you want to keep going back for work missed and faulty parts and no apologies for damaging your car then by all means go formula one autos in Hertford.

This is the third bad review I have written the review before I got taken down which was ball joints replaced went to work and transmission fluid was all over the road car seized up because they didn't connect it properly after the work they did .

That's my second warning and the third is they left the car on all night so went to pick it up and the car wouldn't start because they flattened the battery which they replaced it's losing voltage and they didn't clamp it down and the clamp is lost so that's a failed mot .

I'm hanging my head in shame for them right now I'm calling the motor ombudsman and this place shouldn't even be open total disservice .

Reading through some of these reviews it sounds like they can't do tires either why are they allowed to do this to people's cars ?

Formula one rang me and refunded me for work done by previous employees and is now under new management . They also carried out full service for free for me and apologised for the previous employees .

Fair play to the new manager there he made a effort unlike the previous manager.

Unfortunately i have to rate 1 star as not allowed to rate 0. Brought 2 brand new tyres from this garage £300 with fitting,drove home,awoke next day one was flat,returned to the garage they had a look and i was told sorry wasnt fitted correctly,got home other new tyre was now flat went back again to be rudely told i would have to leave my car allday for them to check no apology just horrible experience! save save save you time and more importantly your money and go elsewhere!

I booked in a tyre repair and the staff were really friendly and the manager was polite, friendly and professional, the service was quick and I was dealt with promptly.

Mothering Sunday, rugby fixtures, rain and a slow puncture! Once again the lads at Formula1 autos got me out of trouble in time for Monday school run! This is not a one off I have been a customer for many years! I can’t thank Leon and Dom enough for the help they offered me yesterday. Thank you!

Absolutely shocking. No pride in work terrible service rude and they lie about what needs doing. When I went to pay for there terrible work was about 5 other people complaining. Really don't know how there still open. Use at ur own risk you've been warned. And definitely don't let rick touch ur car use one of the other clowns

I have used Formula One in Hertford for a few years and their customer service is second to none. The quality of work is great and prices are competitive.
