Formula One Autocentres - Doncaster Anmeldelser 

Ordered 4 tyres over phone, had fitted. Checked whilst there. All wheels covered in dirty tyre soap, 3 valve caps missing. Asked to be rectified. Checked again after cleaning. 3 out of 4 wheels damaged by tyre machine. (Probably hoped the tyre soap would hide it until i got home) Perfect wheels on an expensive vehicle. Wrong tyres as well. Volvo oe tyres on a Tiguan. 2 options on website. Manager either ordered wrong or delivered wrong. Had to take them all off again and refit old tyres.
So i spent all morning, got nothing except 3 damaged wheels, a load of stress and an offer to refurb the damage, which is not acceptable in my view as we all know that a spray refurb is never as good as factory finish.
Note that this is ongoing at the moment, so i'll let you know how it goes and if they are prepared to rectify the issues so the vehicle is back exactly how it was. Watch this space. Just be aware that not all their staff are capable of doing a good job.

All 4 wheels now had full refurb by external company paid for by F1. Not factory quality obviously but all look reasonably ok. Also got the correct tyres fitted now. Just would rather not have had all the hassle of another trip to F1, 2 trips to wheel refurb in a different town, 11 days driving on donor wheels and none factory finish on what were almost perfect untouched wheels, all due to incompetence.
The only way i was going to be 100% happy was new wheels and it was clear that wasn't going to happen without a court case.

The staff saved me money and showed me everything that was required young women no nothing about cars however manager (ben) took the time even tho he was very busy to show me so I understood thank you

Untrustworthy robbers, Quoted £255 for a service Tried charging £450, talked down to £326 just to get keys back. Ford themselves said they would have done the job for less. Definitely will never use again or recommend to anyone.

They also make up jobs and phone you to try and charge you more for work that does not need doing and costs more than buying a new car, absolutely appalling garage. Do not use or trust them.

Well what can I say this company has always been reliable and have used them for years on almost all the family cars but my recent experience with the Doncaster Branch and the online Order and booking system has left me frustrated and very disappointed. I ordered two tyres for my Mercedes at around £330 ordered and payed on line and with an appointment time of 2.45pm on the fitting day with an instruction to arrive 15 minutes earlier which I did was greeted with the comment what appointment who did you book with I explained online was told they don’t hold and bookings open gor online orders but amazingly did know my name and time before I gave it !! Told to busy better if I went away and came back the next day early and would see what they could do but not Friday as the were booked up already !! What with if they don’t keep appointments open ? Expressed my displeasure and could not come back due to other commitments. Reluctantly then offered to leave the car but did not know when they would be able to do it which I had to do. Told they would ring me if they got it done, they did not. Returned 2 hours later and they had just finished it. Told they had got it done as if they had done me favour. I pointed out if there pre order any pay system does not work I would have used another supplier of which there are many locally. To make matters worse on return home noticed they had not refitted my valve caps!! Not sure now how good the fit was? So alas I am unlikely to use them again as it seems loyalty to the company is not justified.

Very helpful and informative

Had a puncture so went to my local centre. The manager had someone and put him on it straight away. Seb checked the tyre and found the leak was with the valve which he replaced. I was grateful for the speed in which the job was done, Seb the fitter told me the problem and sorted it out. I was very happy with the service I received and will definitely go there when I need tyres again. I have used F1 for years and have always had good service 5 stars from me.

Terrible customer service. I brought my car here for its service and mot, I was advised over the phone it would be two to three hours, so I agreed that would be fine and I would walk around the shops next to the garage. Five hours later I still heard nothing, so I rang. He said the service had been done but not the mot yet however he advised my car probably would not pass its mot as it needs two new back tyres ( I may add I had four new tyres 10 months ago) also I need new front break discs and pads, keep in mind my car has only done 22,000 miles, also a list of about 8 other things. I may be a women but I’m not stupid and I know there is nothing wrong with my break pads and discs. After waiting 5 hours I told him I would pay for the service and take my car else where for the mot as I had to get home for my kids. I took my car to the council a week later for a mot and sure enough it passed with no minors at all, I said to the lovely bloke that mot my car at the council was there anything wrong with my break pads and discs, tyres etc, he said no nothing wrong at all, so goes to show trusting my gut instinct was correct, had I left it there for its mot i would of ended up with a hefty bill for work that did not need doing. I would not recommend at all.

Not very friendly on arrival, barked at me for my keys, was told it would take all day to do a service oh and they won't change spark plugs even though it's part of a full service 🤔 was also given a quote of over £350 to "fix" my car when literally there isn't anything wrong with me car apart from service light being on. Wouldn't recommend this garage, steer clear unless you desperate as they are open on Sundays.

Very helpful and efficient procedure. I will certainly visit them again.

I used Formula One Doncaster for the replacement of 2 car tyres. My appointment was booked online which was an easy process to follow. On the day of my appointment I was greeted by friendly staff and the job was done within 45 mins. Quick, excellent service.

Good short notice availability. Doncaster staff super friendly courteous and helpful. Work completed on time.

Took a wheel in and dropped it off to have a tyre put on on the friday ( was booked in to be done ) i stuck a sticker on with my details on as i am quite organised, guy said put it there near where all parts were, saturday came no phone-call sunday no phone-call monday no phone-call so i phoned monday afternoon, nobody knew anything about it , ( good job i stuck sticker on otherwise nobody would have known where the wheel had come from ) seemed very disorganised no apologies when i picked it up despite taking 4 days and i had to phone them up , i won’t be returning.

Doncaster centre- Great service and very friendly and knowledgeable staff

Went to f1 because it was a cheap service. I got a call saying my disks need doing pads etc and other things. 1100 pound to repair. I’ll take it to my normal garage for a check. Please get a second opinion. This is how they make there money

Absolute sxxt show ordered my tyres online to be fitted at 1145am. Half an hour later they tell me they have the wrong tyres. Not happy so asked them to book me back in for a week on saturday (today). Just arrived to be told they have sent the same ones again. Fing joke

Not a major problem in my Toyota CHR but a front mud flap was damaged that kept making noises when steering left. I arrived late in the afternoon but Ben's staff kindly checked and temporarily fixed asking me to come next day. I could clearly see how busy they were however Ben fixed the flap more securely while I proceeded to purchase the right part he wrote me about. asking for the bill, I could not believe myself when he smilingly told "no worries at all" and I kept on insisting !!!! I will whole heartedly recommend Formula One Autocentres services and the way Ben and his team take initiative to help customers lime me. Many thanks indeed.

Staff are very helpful fitted 3 tyres in no time

Shocking service they have broken my car and left it in a worse state then when I took it in. Had my car serviced and MOT they had to keep it to do some work upon collecting it today Monday 15th July I suddenly had engine faults I never had before they never even looked under the bonnet did a quick scan on the machine told me it wasn’t there fault and booked me in for Friday to look into it further. When I got home I looked under the bonnet to find things not connected and other bit broken I have taken a photo and complain to customer care.

Just a quick update I took the car today 19th July they were extremely apologetic for the issue they repaired the issue quickly unfortunately the broken item is 6-8 weeks order so they plastic welded it and have made a note that if it breaks again they will order a new part for me. They also offered to take a look at it again before I go away. I can not fault the customer service and the men in the garage for doing there best to resolve my issue.

Excellent experience that is probably why I keep going back to Doncaster F1.
