The Chelmsford branch of Formula1 autocentres is outstanding.
I have been using them for both our family cars, for the past 3 years and the level of outstanding service, professionalism and friendly-support has always been of a consistently high level.
Even this week, Chris and Debbie could not have been more helpful, offering professional and knowledgeable advice as well as ensuring a quick turnaround on the work on my car.
Exceptional service - highly recommended. 👍

Had a very pleasant experience at the Chelmsford branch today, Danny Burch the Regional Manager went above and beyond to ensure my wife’s car was not only repaired to a high standard but ensured that it was finished in time for me to get back to pick the kids up despite being snowed under with work. Took my Car to Chelmsford branch recently as had a squeak from rear wheel. Was told the rear brake calliper had seized and I needed a new calliper, brake disc and brake pads. Was quoted £1275. This was for just one wheel. My husband took off wheel which they hadn’t done and everything fine other than brake pads cost us £22 for brake pads for both wheels so I’m effect cost £11 against the £1275 quoted. This was beyond a rip off in costs it was saying work/part required that we’re not needed. Absolute disgrace. I wonder if my husband had taken car in if they would have been so dishonest I will never ever use them again not even for an MOT and will make sure I tell everyone I know to steer clear of them
I will also be contacting trading standards as well

My partner took her car in for a simple MOT , they failed it on a exhaust (which was fine but they still failed it) then charged her a stupid amount over £400 for a part which costs less than £70 ! But they used technical language and scare tactics to make her feel need to pay more than she needed to. Her invoice didn’t say what she was paying for just “deposit payment” and garage won’t talk to me about this Absolute shambles of a company

Helpful staff. Mechanic was really informative and helpful when I attended the Chelmsford branch at the end of March with an exhaust issue.

Very easy to book and they had a slot for a MOT the next day. Staff very friendly.

Don’t ever use them. Booked in for tyres ordered through Black circles. They serve all their mates first. Terrible service. Rude.

Absolutely awful experience. Had an MOT yesterday and needed a new tyre. They let me drive off the forecourt without checking the alignment. Rang them and was told to come back today. Turned up and no one knew anything about it and they were trying to charge me. Total fiasco and would never use again.

Great price vs what the dealer offered for the brand I wanted.
I always get my tyres from F1 Chelmsford as all the staff have been great to date and you get a great product with great customer service.
