Big shout out to Sean and the team at Barnwell Road Cambridge. Managed to get my tyres for Audi the next day and professional fit and alignment - thanks for coming you, price was very good to.

Avoid this garage if you value your safety.
We booked our car here for a full service as we knew we would be going on a long drive. We had some parts replaced as they said that there were some issues and that they would be MOT failures when it next comes around.
Long story short, we broke down on the M6 and when the RAC mechanic looked at what was causing the problem, he instantly asked if we had any work done recently.
Turns out that F1 hadn’t replaced a certain nut properly on the front track rod and to quote the RAC mechanic “it’s currently hanging on by a thread, if that had come off it would have been a disaster” he genuinely seemed shocked as to how it had been done. So thank you F1 for endangering the lives of myself, my wife and our baby. We will be contacting the head office.

My husband took the car to auto centre to check windscreen washer blocked on rear and left side on front. Staff phoned 2 hours later and said it will cost 495. My husband said no I don't want to do it. Staff was charging 150 pound when we said no. Myself went to collect the car paid full amount and checked rear windscreen washer still not working. Manager came out while other staff was checking with me. Loud voice he replied we did only front if you want rear come another day.

I felt it's very rude, my point was he charged us 495 and I don't think he done 495 worth of job. Please tell me if the washer pump was broken how did the right side washer jet still working?.....

This is rip off, avoid going to formula one.....

Booked my car in for an MOT through a different website who never passed the message on to F1 Autocentre. I called F1 and they fit me in regardless. I knew my car would fail but they sorted everything the same day, even though it was a struggle, and did it all with exceptional customer service. I will be going back for all my car troubles. Thank you for doing everything so willingly, it made the whole process so easy. Much appreciated.

I would not recommend doing business with this garage. They clear do not value their customers time or money. Had an appointment at13:30 for a MOT and service, I arrived at exactly 13:33 only to find they only booked me for a MOT. Went ahead with just MOT, they took my car keys immediately on arrival and I went to set on the visitors room to wait. A few minutes later one of them comes out to give me my keys back saying “i was 20min late” and the boss said I would have to come back another day. This was around 13:44 If my maths is correct that would be less than 20 minutes, so don’t know how I was 20 minutes late already. So now my car has run out of MOT because I can find another to do it in less than a weeks waiting time. Bad horrible customer service, just as well because who know what else they would have come up with during the MOT.

I had an absolutely awful experience with Formula One Cambridge. They lost my wheel nut key, making my car completely unusable for an entire week. Instead of taking responsibility or offering any real help, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful throughout the whole ordeal.

When I first raised the issue, they showed no urgency in finding the missing key, nor did they offer any solutions to resolve the situation. I was left stranded, forced to deal with the consequences of their incompetence. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to assist made an already frustrating situation even worse.

A professional garage should be accountable for customers property and provide solutions when problems arise Formula One Cambridge failed on both fronts. I strongly advise against trusting them with your vehicle.

Rubbish Rubbish garage if I could I gave non star. I went to that garage to fixing my car they charged me £434.62 and they didn’t fix my car they change a part without checking the issue..

I had fuel saver service today. I don’t know what they all I saw was check the oil level, which I can do it by myself. My car was booked at 12:00pm today but start doing at 12:50pm. I saw the staff just walking around drinking coffee. I was expecting cleaning valves or carburettors or anything like that but I didn’t see they did that. I was watching on the waiting room. I was absolutely waste of time and money.

Autocentre MOT Review

I recently visited F1 for an MOT test, and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the service. The test took more than twice the estimated time, which was very frustrating as I had planned my day around the original timeframe given to me.
There was little to no communication about the delays, and I had to keep asking for updates. It felt like my time was not valued, and the lack of efficiency made the whole experience quite stressful.
While the staff were polite, the overall service was far from satisfactory. I expected a quicker, more organized process, especially for a routine MOT. I hope they can improve their scheduling and communication in the future.
I would think twice before returning unless they address these issues.

It was Sunday morning. I was 200 miles from home and I saw that I had a flat tyre. I had to be home that evening.

I phoned three tyre places and they were all booked up. I pulled into two more places and they were booked up as well. Finally, I managed to get my car to this place.

They were busy, but the boss said they could fit me in if one of the fitters gave up his lunch break. So that’s what he did! The poor bloke went hungry just to fix my tyre, which he did very expertly and at a great price.

Honestly, I was so grateful to find this place. They stepped in when nobody else could. Absolute legends, highly recommended.

Left my car for MOT and service. After MOT fail due to hand brakes needing adjustment, I got a big quote of £700+ to get the work done. I told them I couldn't afford it and I want to get bare minimum things to get MOT passing. Then the reduced quote was £400 + . I asked them to get the service completed and took the car back without any fixes. I got MOT done at a different centre the next day. It passed with advisories only. At times it feels like they hold you up for ransome.
Such experiences brings down trust and makes it difficult for me to book them again.
I also felt that the person was rude. When I asked for service report. He said they don't normally give service report. The online email confirmation is the only thing. When I insisted again, he printed out what he had done.
The car was stinking with smell of alcohol I had to drive a few miles with windows open. I would never book again.

I cannot recommend this garage at all. I went in for an MOT and full service, and they claimed that a number of other repairs were needed. As a result, the price almost doubled. Since I'm not very knowledgeable about cars, I didn't question it. However, just days after the service, the service light came back on. I took my car to the main dealer, and they found issues that should have been addressed by the garage, such as brake fluid replacement.

I left my car for a full-day service, but upon collection, the engine oil warning light came on, indicating low oil levels. When I called the next morning, the person I spoke to was dismissive and rude, claiming the warning was normal after an oil check. When I explained that this never happened, he mentioned bringing the car back to the garage. I did not trust them. I took the car to another garage only to discover they had failed to replace the sump bolt, leading to an oil leak. Additionally, a skid warning light appeared after the service, which they merely reset without fixing the issue. To top it off, I had to call multiple times to get an invoice, and when it finally arrived, it was just a payment receipt with no details of the checks or work done. Avoid this garage at all costs."

Highly recommended this garage in Cambridge. Friendly and professional service. Looks after you and your car as their own.

Fitting of 2 new tyres and wheel alignment went smoothly. Fitters knowledge and customer care was excellent. An all round good experience.

Routine pad and brakes for my Audi A6, but unfortunately I had a problem with my rear brake caliper with age/water damage. While getting quotes for a replacement part, Paul the manager, fixed the problem and saved me a considerable amount of both time and money. Friendly, professional team and would very much recommend!

Went in on a Sunday afternoon, as all our electric mirrors suddenly stopped working.
We did call in to check and a lovely gent agreed to see us.
When we got there Scott and Dave attended to us they where very friendly and polite they fixed our issue within the hour.

I got booked in for a brakes job and when I turned up for the appointment a different guy told me they couldn’t do my job because they ddnt have staff. I volunteered I had been booked ( he hadnt asked) and he told me the guy that had booked me in the other day was on his off day and ddnt know staffing levels for the day he had booked. No apology. Very quick to say, “ If you don’t like it, go elsewhere.” I tried to engage with him and say my concern that I had made plans around this appointment and could he at least book me another day and try not sound like it was my fault. A guy came in, declared he was in charge, and declared the conversation over and that If I ddnt like how they do things I should just leave.
