Excellent travel insurance, competitively priced especially if you have health issues and are over 70 .

I have now bought two annual policies from Explorer Travel insurance, I have a few medical issues and Ian has provided a reasonable quote each time. Thankfully I’ve never had to claim, but I’m sure his service would be just as professional as his daily emails are.

We have recently taken out our second annual travel policy with Explorer Travel Insurance. It is very comprehensive and takes into account my health issues. It was competitively priced compared to other big companies. Thankfully we have not required to make a claim. The owner sends regular travel updates and advice which is very useful.

This is the most approachable travel insurer we have found. They are always there for you and don’t mind answering any questions you may have. Their website is easy to navigate which is a plus for older travellers. Whats more can we say, they are good value and you get what it says on the tin!

I have had an annual policy with Explorer for 2 years. Simple to purchase and for a reasonable price.
When I was ill in March and unable to go away, it was very easy to complete a claim.The payment didn’t take long to process. Well done Explorer!

My wife had a fall in Tenerife & needed to be hospitaĺised, insurance provided a nurse for the repatriation, could not fault the service.

Have used Explorer a few times, whenever I have called the staff have been really helpful.....I've even claimed just to missed cruise ports, was paid prompt no hassle, I've recommended Explorer to a few people, would not hesitate to use Explorer again for my holiday insurance.

I felt confident that Explorer had listened to all of my requirements and issued the appropriate policy. My renewal date is soon and I’m hoping Explorer can accommodate both myself and my husband.

We have used Explorer for our travel insurance since we started going on cruises a few years ago. We have taken out an annual policy for the last 3 years. The price is always competitive and purchasing the policy online is very straightforward.
A couple of years ago we had to make a claim as due to bad weather several of our scheduled port stops were cancelled. The claim process was dealt with very efficiently and the claim paid in full. I was pleasantly surprised to find that on our next renewal the premium had not increased massively.
Definitely recommended.

Not sure how I initially heard of Explorer a few years ago, possibly via a price comparison site. Noticed that the registered office was less than a mile from home, cost of cover was amongst the lowest so have used them since then.
Easy and quick to set up a single trip policy at the last minute which is important to me as my visits to Australia are made at the last minute.

We got Explorer inurance because of the fair price and the good reviews off people who unfortunately did have to claim from them. My husband has just turned 80 and its a pity that we are now unable to get Explorer insurance when this one finishes in October

Really easy to obtain a quick quote. Covered my medical requirements at a very reasonable rate. Unfortunately not able to cover my wife’s complicated medical conditions with a policy however. Always updates information regarding latest travel news

Bought a multi use policy last October cheaper than some single use from other companies..so far we've had 4 holidays and just about to head off on our fifth 😀..we've never had to make a claim so that's a great bonus ...long may it continue to the end of this policy..It's all been very straight forward booking via Internet..we did have one question and it was answered straight away 😀 no fuss ...

This is our first year with Explorer Travel Insurance. Seems to be well informed and keeps us updated with everything that is going on .
