This might be an unfair judgement, as I left both items unopened - one because I could not believe that it would fit and didn't wish to risk being unable to return it, and the other because the instructions (which were so small they were difficult to read) did not seem to go with the item itself, with the result that I could not access the battery compartment. Both items are being returned. (Normally we are quite satisfied with purchases from Expert Verdict.)

What makes the difference between a good and great company?
It is how they respond when there is problem.
My experience - ordered torches and arrived ahead of time. Opened and missing the AAA batteries. Phone call to them - "ooops sorry will send out today".
And as promised here they are. Well Done

Tried to place an order on line from New Year 2023 brochure. The offer code EB07 giving £12 off for orders over £75 was not accepted on line. I therefore tried to order by phone at a cost of 7p per minute. The code was still not accepted. I was left on hold while the person I was speaking to went to speak to a supervisor. After leaving me holding at my expense I was asked to read what the brochure said about the offer code. I did so only to be told I would put on hold again. At that point I decide I didn’t want to incurr more charges a 7p a minute and I informed the sales person that I would find the item elsewhere. I then instantly did so, finding it on eBay at £7.95 less than at Expert Verdict.
I will never use Expert Verdict again. They are expensive and ineffective.

Placing the order by telephone was really easy and quick. I noticed when I received my confirmation that I had been overcharged by £4.03. I did email the company but to date have not received a reply. My parcels were delivered very quickly. Overall a good service.

I was regularly kept informed by email at every stage from purchase to receipt. Even though I missed the last message and was out when the courier arrived, he returned later that evening with a smile to deliver the package. Overall, quite impressed - especially after recent bad press and unavoidable delivery issues due to strikes and staff shortages.
