Read the terms and conditions… it’s that simple
I read the terms and conditions on this sellers website front to back and then back to front again… I knew exactly what risks I was taking before making any purchase.. I knew that postage around the world in general has been brought to its knees because of this COVID-19… and I appreciate this seller and many other sellers around the world have no control once they send their delicate packages that we so anxiously & eagerly await… I completely understand and can appreciate any and all live arrival guarantees by all sellers in general being taken away because of this and at the end of the day, most of us all have families to feed, bills to pay and a need to make a living… I also understand and feel the pain when a queen or colony arrive dead.. and I can imagine the pain the seller must also feel having raised these various beautiful species only to hear they’re now dead..
So I knowingly took a gamble fully aware of the worst-case scenario consequences.. and also because the prices in my opinion are very reasonable so this was a very small gamble to me..
Now having made several orders from this seller.. I have 100% confidence in always buying from this seller still knowing the risks and accepting his terms and conditions…
And Yes… not every single colony I’ve ordered has arrived alive… But most actually have… And I really have to commend this seller in having the absolute best logistical skills when it comes to the packaging, hydration cells and the amount of effort that is clearly put in to keep these ants alive for as long as possible during transit..
Five stars to this seller.. I have absolutely no regrets in any order I have made and will continue to order from this seller in the future… but when I can make some more bloody room now because I’m running out of space now!

I buy from this seller for years and I never had a problem. I don't know what is up with the other reviews. They offer quite a large variety of species, and the packaging of orders are quite neat.

Why I will not order from ExoticAntStore.com
Having recently ordered a number of colonies from ExoticAntStore (formerly AntsFromAsia), totalling nearly £400. After a stock availability mix-up on their end my order was split to two deliveries, in which I paid for both deliveries at the full rate.
The first delivery arrived pretty much as expected. The second delivery however was where the problems really occurred, after taking a considerable amount of time in transit both the Polyrachis Armata and the Harpegnathos Venator all arrived dead. It was a real shame.
Upon declaring this to the owner of antsfromasia.com, he proceeded to explain that the lengthy delivery process and the cold was always a risky move. However at no point did he advise this or even suggest alternative options to insure safe delivery.
Once calmly and respectfully challenged on this, I was instantly greeted with an email full of threats and intimidation, purely designed to overwhelm.
I will most defiantly be avoiding dealing with AntsFromAsia.com, ExoticAntStore.com and any other popup store this dodgy seller creates to avoid the bad publicity he gained, in the future on the following grounds:
1. Customer service no way near a level required in a modern society! There is absolutely no excuse for a company to become abusive and intimidating.
2. They will fraudulently fill in the import customs declaration. Contrary to the claims he makes!
3. Money sent is purely on the roll of a dice on whether you will receive the level of service you expect.
4. This company provides no advice or warning on the legalities on importing, further more they will use this against you as an intimidation tactic, should you disagree with them at any point.
If you decide to ignore this warning, do your self a favour... ask around in ant keeping communities for reviews and advice in dealing with this company, along with doing your due diligence on the importing regulations, ask them the question too, since they are also required to provide export documentation! Which at no point is offered.
Honestly though, you will find it far easier, cheaper and less risky all round to avoid and order locally.
EDIT:
Paypal accepted my request and even IF they had of close my account data protection would prevent them from telling the seller... clearly more lies.

Dear Mr Smith we are very sorry that you are not happy with our service- we try our best and pride ourselves on our customer relations. We do not seem to have any records of correspondence with you - but you can be certain we will look into the matter and update you shortly. It is very unusual for us to receive any kind of bad review - having been in business now for eleven years and having many thousands of happy satisfied customers. You can be sure of our utmost effort to resolve this matter.
Update: We have now found your file as such - and there seems to be some major differences between your description of events and the actual factual events. We will respond shortly with the true explanation of what has happened here.
After reviewing your file we would like to update this reply: When one of the colonies from your first order was not available you were offered a full refund, but requested that a replacement colony was sent to you at a later date as you were going to place a second order. The total value of both orders was not 400 as you state, but 335.
You also did not pay the full cost of postage. The full cost of postage for both orders was 90 pounds and the total amount you paid for postage was only 50, as we subsidize the postage for orders over 100 and the difference was paid by us.
The second order was sent in November and It is clearly stated on the shop page and in our terms and conditions that the customer is responsible for checking weather conditions regards expected arrival date, and you were notified several times that live arrival at this time of year is not guaranteed. At no time did you state that the weather was unsuitable for sending. Our terms and conditions clearly state we cannot replace stock or refund if the stock arrives dead due to delayed delivery or bad weather conditions. This is also stated on our postage page and was stated twice in communication with you. When some of the ants arrived dead due to late delivery and weather conditions, you decided that our terms and conditions although they apply to everyone else, did not apply to yourself and demanded a full refund. We received numerous abusive emails asking for a full refund for both orders - stating that if we did not give you a refund, you would post bad reviews about our business.
Regards documentation: We clearly state that it is the customers responsibility to check up regards import regulations and what is required. As we export worldwide to over 35 countries it is impractical for us to keep up to date on the import regulations for each country, and much more sensible for the individual importer to check this. We export to scientific establishments and research Institutions, all which inform us of any required documentation, which we can duly supply. For normal hobbyists no export documentation is required to export colonies from Thailand as ants are not covered by CITES or health regulations. If any additional documents such as an invoice are requested for importation these can be provided, as has been done before.
On a more serious note, for some reason, you forget to mention you tried to scam us by submitting a claim to PayPal stating that your account had been hacked, you did not know anything about the orders and you did not make the purchase! This was fraudulent and not the brightest thing to do as the packages were clearly shown to have been delivered to your home address, and we had numerous emails from you regards the orders. After investigation by PayPal your claim was rejected, and we have since heard your account with PayPal was closed by them for attempted fraud.
