Yes we do run jobs from partners which redirect you to their sites, but we also run jobs from clients which you can apply for directly on Energy Jobline.
We do this so we can bring you the most energy jobs from around the world, every day - We are a portal to global energy jobs.

Had to register to apply for a job that was posted 2 days ago with 1 applicant, only to find out they're no longer accepting applications.
Click bait to get more registrations.
This may be not normal, but that's my only experience with energyjobline.

Just wanted to respond to your review. Jobs come on, and off, our site all day every day. Many jobs listed yesterday are expired today. We do not set the expiry date of jobs, that is controlled by the recruiters and employers.
Unfortunately not everything can happen in real-time, and there can be a short delay between jobs dropping off our site, and that reflecting in our LInkedIn listings. This should no be a huge time difference though, no more than 4-5 hours usually.
The job you saw may have been posted 2 days previous on our site, but the closing date was still the next day it seems.
You have essentially given us a 1* review because a job you wanted to apply for had closed. We do not clickbait. All our jobs are real, and live, when we post them on-site. However, due to the nature of pushing our content across the web via partner networks, sometimes you will be directed to a job that has expired.
We hope you stay registered with us, and find a role via our site soon.

This 4-5 months old postings comment is completely false information.
All our jobs are ingested from partner feeds, or posted directly on-site by employers or recruiters.
Our platform will not allow a job to remain on-site for longer than 30 days. So the very oldest post you will see has been on-site for 1 month.
Even then, if you see a 30 day old job , these jobs are still active and you can apply to any of them.

I think this site has had some unfair criticism recently and looking at previous reviews. It's a jobsite that presents and showcases Energy industry jobs so does exactly what it sets out to do. I have been registered with EJL for the last 3 years and found my last job through them.
I am a Process Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry and coming to the end of my current contract. I found several jobs that fit my skillset and have applied for them which was an easy process. There were 2 jobs that I applied for directly and 3 jobs that took me through to the employer site.
I understand you have to register as it protects the end client of being spammed with 100's/1,000's of irrelevant applications. It's a free service so don't understand why so many people are complaining!
Keep up the good work Energy Jobline you are helping a lot of people find jobs within a tough industry. 5 stars and ignore the complainers that have to actually do a little work to find a suitable job..!!

Every Job they post is 2-3 months old on their platform is just to waste your time.
You cannot see the complete job description unless you signed up.
After that you will realize that it is completely different position and old post

We have 300,000 global energy jobs on-site.
Please post a link here to a job you find on our site which was posted 2-3 months ago.
All our jobs are ingested from partner feeds, or posted directly on-site by employers or recruiters.

The issue with the full job description on one of our partner feeds has been resolved and you will only see full descriptions now on all our jobs.

Sort it out! Don't post half a job spec on linked in, nobody else does that. It's frustrating, and makes you seem like a scam. Not interested in signing up and declaring details, when I don't even know if the job is relevant. And it seems like a scam. You'll only get stupid people applying!

We have taken your feedback onboard and really looked at the partner process over the last 2 weeks.
I am happy to tell you that we have a new feed process on the jobs you are referring to and they now have FULL job descriptions. So no more 'half a job spec' on LinkedIn.
It was out of our control, as that's how they were sent through to us, but this new process has replaced them.

Schlimmer als nur Scam
Anders als Agenturen wird Jobline nicht mit der Besetzung einer Stelle beauftragt, sondern sie "benutzen" Stellenanzeigen, auch von öffentlichen Einrichtungen, und veröffentlichen diese (zusätzlich) über LinkedIn etc.. Details zur Stelle können nicht eingesehen werden, erst nach Eingabe persönlicher Daten, obwohl die originalen Autoren diese veröffentlichen. Einen Link zur ursprünglichen Ausschreibung gibt es nicht. Jobline sammelt nicht nur Daten, sondern überflutet auch Jobportale mit unbrauchbaren Anzeigen.

Unfortunately has all appearances of a bait & switch scam. Somehow scrapes legitimate job postings from other sources, forces you to provide your personal details to view the listing (in the guise of being an application process), and then shops you out to various other scammy data mining sites poised to look like job postings.
To the representative commenting on all the other reviews; you either have legitimate job postings people can apply to or it's a scam. The company fraudulantly provides all the outward appearance of being a intermediary between hopeful job seekers and potential employers. This site does not have connections to employers and exploits job seekers to secure personal data under false pretenses.

I can assure you there is no scam involved. We are an established business (2012) and do not sell any data to any 3rd parties.
Every one of our jobs either posted onsite by the employer / recruiter or provided by a partner.
We are no different to many jobsites. Many will pass you on to the source of the job.
We market the jobs, you find them via us, we pass you through. We need to recoup our marketing costs so we require a registration which then allows our clients to headhunt to roles by using our database.
In answer to your point about connections to employers, our clients are some of the largest employers in the energy industry including SHELL, aramco, NES Fircroft, Airswift, KBR, Equinor, Air Products.... the list goes on.
They all use our site every day to find energy professionals to fill their roles.

Many of our jobs will pass you to the employer site, or to the source of the job if it is provided by a partner.
We are not sure why you think this is a scam?
By creating a profile you are putting your CV infront of thousands of our clients who are looking to fill global positions, and we also pass you through to jobs that you would like to apply for which you find through our site.
Energy Jobline has been running since 2012 and we have millions of energy professionals as members, who have created profiles and uploaded their CVs.
We work directly with clients, and also with partner networks to advertise as many global energy jobs as possible.
Any data our members upload stays within our closed system and is not used for any other purpose.

Energy Jobline is phishing for our CVs
Energy Jobline used a posting of a real global company to lure me into thinking that I was applying to that job. Once I filled all information, I realised that there was no connection at all with the job posting (as I later applied on the web site of the real company, that job was no longer available).
This behaviour is not acceptable and I immediately deleted my Energy Jobline profile and account. I cannot trust a company that uses such methods to create a databank of CVs that they use for profit.
I have reported this site to linkedIn (where the job posting is, at the time of this posting) and requested them to block access to their platform. I encourage everyone to do the same to get these data brokers out of the internet as much as possible.
- Remark to the answer from Energy Jobline: I'm sorry, your answer is not convincing. The original job posting from ABB can still be found and it was posted 5 months ago, not 24 hours (as the following shorted link from linkedIn shows: chk(dot)me(slash)YUtzSJd .

Sorry to hear that you couldn't find the job you were looking to apply for, but I can assure you that all of our jobs are real. They are sent to us from big brand partners, or via paying clients posting directly onto the site.
We do not sync with all of these in real time however. That would be impossible due to the volume of jobs and bandwith usage between the APIs we have with them.
Some only sync every 24 hours, some every 12 for example.
If the job you were looking for was removed from the employer site 5 hours ago for example, there are cases where this may not be removed from our site until tomorrow morning.

Edit: In answer to your update, Alex, that certainly should not be happening. I will raise this with the job posting team. I can assure you that we only run jobs that are in the feeds we receive.
Just because a job was posted 5 months ago does not mean that it did not close in the last 24 hours, or very recently.
Some companies do leave jobs open for periods of time, some even post ‘evergreen’ jobs which never expire, as they are always looking to increase their portfolio of energy professionals. As we are not the employer I cannot really comment with certainty on this particular job , but I will look into it.
Energy Jobline appears to be a Phishing attempt
Been seeing a lot of job postings from Energy Jobline on LinkedIn recently. To see the full job posting you have to click through to their site which allows them to see your LinkedIn Profile. Once you get to the site it says "In order to read the full job description please click the 'apply' button. If you are a registered site member with an uploaded CV, you will be passed straight through. If not, then you will be asked to register a free account with us."
Pretty sure this is a scam. Job postings for real jobs are not hidden from view.
Just click on the options above the posting in LinkedIn and select 'Send feedback' and you can mark it as spam/pfishing attempt. This should get them removed from LinkedIn.

Forces account creation for external job ads
When you click apply it forces you through the account creation process. When you finish you're not even in the flow for that job anymore, you have to go back and click apply again.
Except, SURPRISE! now when you click apply when logged in, it's just a link to an external job board.
Fraudulent scammers.

I checked Trustpilot for this website before I joined to apply for a job. I saw all those 1-star ratings, but I thought l could try myself with a non-commonly used password. I registered and clicked on the apply button for a job and it redirected me to another website. Do not bother to provide your information to that useless website!

I am not sure why you say our business is a scam? This is a little unfair. Our entire business model and site is to host as many global energy jobs as possible. We work with multiple partners to host their content. Of course some of our jobs will take you to our partner, or the employer site when hitting apply.
We are a gateway to global roles. You wouldn't have found the job you went to if you had not used Energy Jobline.
Our business model is used by almost all jobsites on the internet. Indeed, CareerBuilder, CV Library, Total Jobs, Monster ... the list goes on and on.
Some jobs are hosted natively on our site and can be applied for without being redirected, but many are not. It is just how the employer or partner has posted their job onto our platform. It is their choice to receive applications from us direcctly, or to take you to their site to complete the application.
Apologies if you are frustrated with this process, but it is simply how the business model works. If you follow the path you will be able to apply for the job. There is no 'scam' involved. For jobseekers we are free to use. Our clients are recruiters and employers , who want applications to their roles and have either posted their jobs directly onto our site, or given permission for us to host their content as a 3rd party partner. I am not sure how you think we would be scamming you.
