In the last year I have visited this company twice, last year I weighed in some scrap the money was paid into someone else’s account, I enquired about it they said we will come back to you, I am still waiting. Against my better judgement last week I took a small amount of metal in and checked at the site office my account details were correct. You guessed it the money has gone into another account, I complained someone was getting back to me yesterday you know the story. Do Not use this company everything about their account management and customer service is rank, their moto should be we will get back to you but in the meantime go away.

EMR Darlaston/Kingsbury collected my scrap car the day after inquiring. Paid money into my account instantly after collection and I had proof of scrapping my car emailed to me so I can’t complain very happy with the service and the people are very helpful with any queries

Set of thieves quoted £238 drive straight there get £198 set of crooks never again will i ever go back to scrap a car

Fantastic Service, did online valuation- was contacted, pick up arranged. Drivers were great, can’t recommend them enough. Will use again for sure.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. (I am a previous staff member) EMR are robbing customers blind.

They will knock you KG on every load so they are up on stock. The management in EMR is absolutely disgraceful how they treat their staff and how they treat customers is beyond unacceptable. The staff are over worked and underpaid.

Liverpool - Bankhall - Doesn’t have a proper manager running the place, only a trainee manager and doesn’t know anything about the yard.

They have staff opening and closing up who aren’t IOSH trained which is a risk in itself. They do not care about their staff in the slightest so why would they care about their customers??

I was scammed out of my metal and money I saved up copper aluminum and more all winter just for the worker to throw all my metal in the same bin and call it breakage I brought it in separated and still got played

All very well organized - able to accommodate the date required. Driver was early and very helpful in getting the car away. Price was bteter than other offers too. Defo recommend!

I have been going to EMR Strood for about 15 years now and normally can't be bothered to leave a review. EMR Strood have been so helpful over this time. Their customer service would put many companies to shame the whole team have been so helpful at making sure I get the best price. Sometimes they help me to separate if I miss something special thanks to Bruno for that. Their prices are really good no matter what you are told. I am a one man band and check out the competition locally. Lead battery prices are the best I have found in Medway. Keep doing what your doing.

I delivered to the Newmarket emr site for the first time was greeted by a very friendly and very helpful lady that run the weigh bridge operation. The site was very clean good health and safety standards to a high degree

Probably the worst price in the country for mixed scrap being approx half what other yards are paying. To make matters worse they were deducting 40kg without telling us for "rubbish in appliances". If you do use them check for W.DED (with deductions) value on your blue ticket, but would advise going litterally anywhere else.

Very easy to get your online quote for scrapping your car. Once accepted I received a call a few hrs later to agree collection 2 days later. I was advised the recovery driver would ring me 30mins before arriving. The time was between 10am and 3pm. So about 12am I had to go for an appointment. I got a call from the recovery driver saying he was 10mins away! I said I was told you would call when 30mins away? He said well I'm 10mins away. I said ok I will be with you in 20mins. He said he would have to ring his boss and ring me back. He didn't ring. I rang him and he red buttoned me every time. I rang EMR and advised. EMR rang me back and apologised for the recovery company and booked me back in for 3 days later. This time a different recovery company collected my car and rang 40mins before arriving. They were from Gloucester and were so helpful. Explained everything to me and were genuine nice guys. The money was In my bank within a couple of hrs too. Well done to EMR for swapping the recovery company. I would have scored 5 stars except for the 1st let down on recovery

Quick and simple... even collected my car and paid instantly whilst I was asleep as I work nights

I visited EMR in southampton city today and as a none trade customer I found the service I received second to none. Jordan in the weighbridge office was incredibly polite and helpful, myself being disabled with spine issues thinking it would be hard work I was just so pleasantly surprised how easy Jordan made it for me. Thank you and well done all. 👍👍

Fantastic customer sevice and all kind of official explanation of scrapage scheme. After EMR collect my car with in 32hours they issued the COD certificate. I spoke to Mr. Javid he sort every thing in 10 minutes. Fantastic service. I will recomend my friends.
