Very disappointed with there furniture collection service, I am moving and wanted to donate some furniture but I cannot believe how fussy the collectors were there was a small mark on a unit you couldn't hardly see, they refused take it I took a picture of it none my friends could see it, a wall mounted unit they wouldn't take because it had holes in it for putting on a wall as it was not a free standing unit. I really couldn't believe their attitude would never use them again. I thought it was a supposed to be a charity I don't know what they expected (perhaps NEW)

I applied to Ellenor Hospice Gravesend, as a flexibank health care assistant, where I got asked to come in for an interview - which went very well, and I explained how I prefered to work in wards, but that it was also ok to work in the community. I got asked to send in 5 references, and the whole process was extremely slow, it took over a month for everything to be checked and approved. Finally, I received an email to begin my first day, and when I arrived, no one came to speak to me, to show me around or explain anything. I ended up, on the first day, going to do community with another health care assistant, and on the return to the office, I waited to speak to the manager - Linda. She was the most unprofessional, and unkind person I have met, and I told her that I thought I was going to be working in the ward, as that is what had been discussed first time. She told me flexibank means I have to do everything, both wards and community, and that they would pay me at the end of the following month. They also said that I would be contacted by a nurse next week, to go meet the ward. However, I never received any calls, messages or emails ever again. Thank you Ellenor, you taught me that I would not work for you for any money in the world, and I'll leave some advice for next time, try to hire flexibank staff through agencies, and don't play about with people's lives.

Such an amazing company to work for and the volunteers and customers in New Ash Green are such an important part of the shop.

New Ash Green Ellenor is my favourite charity shop. It's a total treasure trove of delights. I'm sure I could go in every day and find something I love as a gift or for myself. They get loads of designer donations and have plenty of purse friendly finds too. The shop is always immaculately presented with a beautiful window display too so it feels like shopping somewhere special with the added bonus of the money raised going to help people in need.

The Elenor shop in New Ash Green is great shop with friendly staff. I always manage to find a bargain in there. Be sure to check out their designer rail when you visit.

What a gem of a little shop!! Was made to feel very welcome by Bee and her team. Everyone was very friendly and the shop was clean, tidy and well displayed.
Don't hesitate to pop in to see them, you won't be disappointed! 5 stars!!

I recently visited Eleanor charity shop in new Ash Green
I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the layout was how well displayed things were
Everything was presented so cleanly
The staff were very helpful and made my experience even better with their smiles and giggles

Wonderful help when my wife had cancer and now enjoy visiting our local Ellenor charity shop in New Ash Green. Lovely ladies.

Ellenor has had an amazing impact on me and my family for the last 15 years. Myself and my brother was supported with night respite many years ago by the incredible team.
I have also sadly lost relatives who have been cared for in their final weeks but the amazing team at ellenor.
The whole organisation I have dealt with truly cares about every patient that is supported through their teams.

Overwhelmingly counterproductive. Whenever you require assistance you can expect at least 3 phonecalls asking the exact same questions despite having already explained everything to them in the initial call. Average lead time is about 4 hours, even if you're having an emergency where patients are actively trying to hurt themselves, and the eventual response will more than likely involve shoulder shrugging. They employ nurses who struggle with changing a patient's underwear, I have genuinely found old pairs left inside the new ones while the patient is wearing them. Some nurses will wait until patients, that are clearly in a suggestable state, to be unattended so they can fit catheters that obviously aren't required. Among many, many other things their staff can be very rude, patronising and generally not at all pleasant to deal with.

Wouldn't trust these parasites as far as I could throw them, if I become terminally ill with cancer I seriously would rather be left to my own devices. If you feel like you must use them keep a very close eye on everything their staff do and collect evidence wherever possible.
