I sincerely wish I could give this company zero stars. They have no idea of how to edit, format or do any simple tasks. I asked for a different team and they were just as bad, if not worse!
Just look up my book "Brutal Beginnings" and notice the terrible formatting and lack of editing. I spent more time begging them to fix their mistakes than I did writing! They lie to entice you to use their company. I paid over 1K for publishing and marketing. I said absolutely NO GHOST WRITING but someone named "Stella" ruined parts of my book anyways. It's obvious they used AI. They threatened to take my book down if I left a bad review. It's been over 2 years so let them try! They also almost destroyed my first book, "Brutal Light in Darkness". Luckily a friend who is retired publisher and author was able to fix most of the many mistakes.
They had this "Stella" do Ghost Writing as well, even though I specifically said "Absolutely No Ghost Writing!" in my instructions. Do not use this company! They will ruin your hard work! Luckily I'm hiring a friend who is also a published author to re-publish both manuscripts. She couldn't believe the terrible job they did with both books.
It will be costly because of the time it will take from writing her series. Totally worth it! She loves my writing and after these manuscripts are fixed, these 2 books will get the attention they deserve! Btw...I also paid Elite Book Writing to market my books...They did absolutely NOTHING!! The date of this experience was October 2023. There was no option to add this date. I had to add something to write this review. I'm angry at myself for believing their lies, enticing me to use their terrible company! Btw...This company was previously known as Elite Scribes, but changed their name for obvious reasons.

Beware of ELITE BOOK WRITING.COM and Its Sister Company
I had a deeply distressing experience with this company, one marked by emotional trauma, financial loss, and a significant waste of time. If it were possible to rate them less than one star, I would.
I chose to work with Elite Book Writing in the hope of resolving ongoing issues of my project (including a book that I wrote) peacefully. I refrained from taking immediate action, thinking the problems could be resolved smoothly as I have been following them a couple months after they stopped responding to my messages hoping they would get back to me. Unfortunately, that proved to be a mistake. Over a period, they consistently delayed my project while continuing to collect payments.
The situation worsened once I had paid the full amount. They failed to deliver the agreed-upon work. They also convinced me to invest heavily in a dedicated server, promising it would help sell thousands of copies of my book. Not a single book was sold. Worse still, I discovered they had never provided a dedicated server as claimed that they used a shared one instead.
Moreover, they did not return my credentials, which led to my domain expiring. When I tried to resolve the issue, Again, I found my number blocked, and my calls went unanswered. Astonishingly, representatives from the same individuals later approached me under a different company name, attempting to sell their services again. They blamed the "previous company" for my losses while offering new solutions.
This entire ordeal has been devastating, and I feel a strong obligation to warn others whether authors, writers, or business owners to avoid these companies at all costs.
My advice is simple: Do your research, choose your business partners carefully, and do not fall for misleading promises. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid this company (Elite Book Writing) and its sister company. This is just a summary of my experience, but I hope it helps others make informed decisions.

My name is Pat D. Lane and have a self published book, an audiobook up on three platforms and an ebook on Amazon/Kindle. We were looking for a company to promote all three when we found Elite Book Writing. Martin McCoy’s enthusiasm was infectious when we told him this project's primary goal was to raise funds and awareness for the Children’s Oasis Foundation. This 501c operates the Oasis Academy for neurodiverse children, primarily those on the autism spectrum. We were promised almost daily by Martin of the things to come while his colleagues took shot after shot at me trying to upsell me. We always replied, SEO and marketing, nothing else. Two months into the contract, we were told our website was insufficient to perform SEO requirements and we paid for a WordPress site to be built by them. Concurrently, EBW asked and received a PDF of the book and we were told that they would put the ebook up on multiple venues. It did not get put up anywhere except Amazon. They offer a copy of the book. I’ve never seen a copy of it. Google my book, the Amazon offer comes up before the website.
Our next communication with Elite was with Michael Kenway, Sr. Marketing Manager who informed us that EBW terminated Martin McCoy and he was our new go to person. We discovered quickly, EBW was far from professional and they didn’t maintain any records as Michael was completely lost and we were half way through our contract and hadn't accomplished a thing. Three months of aggravation, chaos, phone conversations and business agreements made, walked out the door with Martin. I insisted that I be allowed to speak to the executive officer but was refused any contact with that person by Mr. Kenway. Subsequently, we didn’t get off on a good footing and I asked him to convey to that executive personally that I said he is a coward. Michael did his best to placate us and introduced us to our Social Media Manager while trying to upsell me with a billboard sign. The social media lady was probably qualified, however her accent was so strong, we simply couldn’t communicate with her. We informed EBW via email of several problems and nothing was ever done. By now we were convinced that we have been scammed by a faux company. After refusing Michaels pitch for a billboard sign, we had no further communications with Elite Book Writing for weeks. With less than 7 weeks left in the contract and zero deliverables received, we were contacted by Elite’s third person to complete the job. Enter Duane. He never gave us his last name but had enough stroke within the company to get work started on converting my website. Since we had paid for the upgrade to the website, nothing was done, zero SEO work, no marketing and yet to produce a single social media post. Our contract was up in the middle of August. We think the website is sound but it has yet to be turned back over to us. Elite refuses any communications with us. We have written a litany of letters without a single response and we hope the information you have read prevents someone else from being scammed by Elite. If they don’t have a problem scamming a charitable organization, what do you think they will do for you?

Worst company ever. They cheated me out of $10,000 dollars and didn't finish the projects I paid for. I wouldn't suggest anyone working with this company

I hired Elite Book Writing to write a series of books for me in December of 2022 and I was in contact daily with my project manager Stella for 2 months. Suddenly my only contact, Stella, ghosted me and I never heard from her again. I obviously was upset and felt completely defeated since we had discussed so many details of my project daily and costs etc. I really did not want to start the entire process over seeing as how my trust was completely broken. So, I requested a refund which was promised by the company. Well its been 3 months and still no refund. The employees will make promises that the refund is coming then completely ghost me. No call back, Not answering calls, shutting down the chat online or not responding, not responding to emails, or calls or texts. They all are from India, which is fine except they PRETEND to live in California and all have fake American names. Stella, Sophie, Jordan Smith (my favorite), Mike, Jason Taylor, etc. Everyone I talk to is so nice and friendly and understanding at first, then they never call back. They all respond with the same scripted promises. Do not ever give this company any money!!!!!! These positive reviews must be fake. This company has zero integrity and is not to be trusted on any level. Like I said they all seem so nice and caring but it is all a sales pitch.

(I've chosen to hive one star after, having a professional look through my book. Because I am not very good with speaking or grammar and the book is full of mistakes and you are meant to he the professionals. And my other book is useless and no one is getting back in touch with me in regards to Flame Girl.

The story is poorly written and so are the characters

The reason for my 3 stars, is the amount of hassle I've had with project managers coming and going and my book stopped getting done. It took forever, it was only when I ordered a new book not realising it was the same company that when I realised got the project manger to take over who is dealing with my next book did I finally manage to finish Blood Ties, it had its bumpy roads but I am excited that it now has been published and that's thanks to Bill and Duane, everyone who came on board before then should be sacked and find another job.

My next review will be a 5 star.

Elite Book Writing is dishonest, they are liars, they are completely incompetent, and it is unbelievable that they are still cheating people out of their money. I fell for their fake reviews and the time and money wasted, combined with their insufferable refusal to fix glaring errors and disgracefully written drafts despite my giving very detailed notes and feedback would drive a saint to drink. Following is the text of my email back to them today which would be amusing if it was not so annoying...
Michael, have you sent me this rubbish again???

..."Somewhere far beyond the clamour of the tranquil planetary life, there was an unsettling rumpus that enveloped the vast expanse of the Grand Galaxy.".....
..."a reward so enticing that the younglings couldn’t overlook."...
..."He had been re-equipping and perfecting his ship, the Jacaranda since he was young. It was his dream to win the Constellation Cup, to prove that his ship was the best work of wonder and that he was the greatest pirate in the galaxy."...... this is not even vaguely following the detailed story note provided..
.....The skies were floodlit by the perkiest stars, and the air masqueraded anticipation and excitement. ..?Thousands of pirates had assembled for the event, all zealous to participate in the multiverse’s most prestigious race.".... written by a ten-year-old foreign student??

Michael, this is word for word, the exact same rubbish that I rejected last time... weeks go by and you come back with the same guttural drivel... and it is the same rehash that bears no resemblance to the details notes you have been given. I have been too busy to think about Elite Book Writing and the failed promises to refund my money for the disgraceful muck that you have been wasting my time with.
This repeated drudge is an absolute insult.
Elite Book Writing is a sham, a scam, that bleeds the time and funds from people that put faith in your company. You promised a story and you have failed after many months of delays and deceit. You promised a refund and again you have failed to keep your word.

Your writers are incompetent, illiterate, 3rd rate students or you are using a very poor early version of Chat GPT to generate this rubbish (despite your constant assurances that this is not so...) It is an insult that you would even think of passing this same muck past me again.... I even wrote to you and clearly specified the many, many writing errors, poor grammar, and completely incorrect storyline to you in multiple earlier emails and you swear that next time I will be allocated a 'good quality writer'... and yet now... today... the exact same dog droppings have been sent to me... no change whatsoever.. the same exact crap.
You really need to go and find yourself a job that you could feel proud of... your company is an industry disgrace and, the fact that you, as my 'account manager' break your word so easily and continue to stall the refund means that you are as bad as the crooks that employ you.
Elite Book Marketing should be reported to BBB and any other professional organizations in the USA and wherever your dishonest tentacles currently reach.
I told you I would start sharing these emails in my testimonials several times and your refusal to take the appropriate action to prevent this is tacit approval that I should commence my awareness campaign of the dishonesty and deceit that are the fuel that drives Elite Book Marketing and your own personal work ethic.

... so... if you have an idea for a book that you don't have the time to write yourself, don't trust Elite Book Writing. They will only steal your time and money.

For my new book I wanted to have a short video trailer before the release of complete book. Elite Book Writing made the process so much easier. They were patient, attentive, and offered expert guidance every step of the way. I highly recommend them.

Hired them for book promotion and distribution for my book. They made lots of promises about marketing and selling my book both paper back and hard cover with distributors. Until today, I have not received any proof about these sales nor any royalty payment. The first payment was scheduled to be made on January 23, 2023, and it's been 3 months since they promised they would do this first royalty payment, and it's all been lies since then, saying that they've had problems with the distributors and that they will do the payment the following week. Well, it's been now 3 months with no payment done, and I'm just hearing the same excuses on and on!

Do not fall for the amazing reviews online as they all seem to be fake ones. They use book covers from books they've not even worked on on their website.

Also, there seem to be other reviews with similar experiences as mine with them not doing the royalty payments and not doing the job they were hired for!

Be aware and avoid them at all costs. They are just a scam, and just keep asking for more money to do the job, but they will never finish or do the job! Do not fall for this!!

I am appalled to see a company operating like this in the United States. I have spent 10 months dealing with them, which has been an absolute nightmare. The only consistent thing they are able to do is fabricate reviews.

This company is totally dysfunctional and has made my life living hell. I am shocked other writers have not complained, but once again this reiterates the credibility of reviews. I entered into an agreement with them in September 2022 and expected to receive my royalty payments by 2/28/2023. This hasn’t happened. They do not answer calls or respond to emails or texts. Authors beware! This company is totally unethical.

Not only am I waiting for royalties from this company, but paid them to do marketing, publishing, and an audiobook. It has been 10 months, and I still haven’t received a quality book trailer, audiobook, SMM, SEO, Wikipedia page, or Google preview. I purchased a platinum marketing plan- but I am still waiting for the trailer. The first draft was a powerpoint with 3 slides with Google images. My project has been switched to five different program managers, each more dysfunctional than the last, with absolutely no oversight. They never published one thing for me or completed the audiobook. They shipped me printed books with the wrong cover twice! This company is incompetent with total disregard for authors. Fellow authors: Do not allow yourself to be taken advantage of, and my only hope is that this very long review prevents other writers from experiencing the same fate and agony.

Their response suggests that they are not only criminal but criminally insane. No one from Elite Book company has ever done anything for me. They have just taken my money and run with it. They were supposed to pay me $26,000 after a distributor sold my books that I paid $16,000 for printing. So far, they have paid me zero. If book marketing was not totally outside the law, this company would be out of business and their leadership would be in jail. Anyone who wants help with book marketing should go to a freelancer company. All freelancers are not good, but the companies make sure that you can get your money back.
This is a horrible company. They made numerous promises about finding me writers, fixing websites, getting a Wikipedia page, sending me hard copies of my books, and sending me receipts of my book sales. They never did any of that. The amazing thing is they were able to convince me they were good people for months after they had proven their unreliability. I am disgusted with myself for swallowing their lies.
The final straw was when they didn’t make the first payment that was due me from sales by their distributor. Several times they promised me the payment would be early. Three days before the payment was due, they assured me they would certainly make it. The day after they missed the payment, they said they would make it in two days. It is now more than a week later. They don’t feel bound by anything they say or put in writing. If you decide to work with them, make sure to protect yourself carefully. They know what to say, but they don’t come through.

As it relates to marketing for my book Silk Chrysalis -Test Your Wings And Fly, I was referred to a wonderful social media marketing team, and one of who stands out due to her diligence and patience...., Scarlett Moss. She made sure I was in agreement with the design for my ads calendar, and allowed my personal input and ideas. This was major for me. Scarlett exceeded my expectations and made things happen with the ad design results. She remained an email away for any ongoing Q & A's as she communicated effectively with me, along with maintaining much professionalism throughout the entire marketing process. She and her team continue to actively deliver ads that I'm proud of to the social media platforms I desire! I definitely would recommend her for your marketing needs!
