Very professional service from start to finish. After speaking to Ikea about our sofa repair, Ecomaster called me within 48 hours, as promised by Ikea, to arrange my appointment. I had a further confirmation phone call and then a text message the day before confirming my appointment time. Michael turned up on time and with all Covid measures in place. He checked with me that I'd received my text the day before. He removed his shoes at the front door and got straight to work, diagnosing the fault within minutes and fixing it in not too many more.
He explained everything as he worked and documented it all with photographs for Ikea.
He was very polite and friendly, thank you Michael.

Ben visited our home today to fix the hinges on a John Lewis sideboard which were too loose and stopping the doors closing properly. Lovely guy, very efficient, easy to have in the home and fixed the issue very promptly with much care.

Lee came round to inspect my sofa from John Lewis which had some issues with the padding. Lee added some extra padding and sofa now looks great! He also highlighted some other things to look out for, like loose sofa legs, and how to keep the fabric looking good, even showed me how use of a flint remover can reverse damage by the cats. Finally Lee also spotted a missing button on one of the sofa cushions and kindly reported that to John Lewis as well, will be getting repaired shortly. He was very friendly, lovely to talk to. All round super impressed. Thank you Lee.

Lee visited my flat regarding a problem with a wardrobe. He was punctual, respectfully wearing his face mask, polite, proactive and extremely helpful. He is an asset to the company and I will speak to others highly of Ecomaster after my experience with him.

I had an Engineer visit this morning regarding issues with my sofa bed. The engineer (Lee) was on time, very professional and friendly. I would certainly recommend the company :)

I had an Engineer (Lee) visit today regarding a fault with my Sofa Bed. Lee was excellent! Great service, he was on time and very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend!!!

I had a visit from an engineer due to a problem with my John Lewis couch. The engineer (northern Irish man, apologies I didn’t catch his name) was professional and resolved the situation promptly.

I can`t fault these guys, they texted the day before, turned up on time, took shoes off, wore masks and did the job on the reclining switch on my sofa in 20 mins. Top Class!

Five star service from Lee, came to my property, Covid compliant with Mask and Sanitiser. Spoke me through the damage and advised in detail of repair needs! Fabulous service

We’re in Glasgow and used Ecomaster via John Lewis. We’ve had lots of problems with JLP - their delivery men didn’t know how to fix the feet on our new sofa and also tore it slightly at the back when bringing it into the house. Lee came to fix on the feet and he identified the problem with the tear which we hadn’t noticed. He arrived promptly, fixed the feet and advised JLP for us that he’d need to come back. He came back as arranged and fixed the tear. Great service.

Contacted Ecomaster because I bought a sofa from John Lewis that was faulty. Once Ecomaster fixed it, it was stronger than it was when I first bought it ! It’s brilliant now. Such a helpful and effective team when it comes to their work! Their team is so helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend them to anyone !

Had to call Lee out last week in Dublin to fix my IKEA bed frame. It is now perfect and squeak free!!. Lee has a very helpful office with very friendly staff !

Lee has just attended our home to have a look at some faulty chairs, he was very patient and helpful.

He was also very prepared and wore his mask the full time which looked uncomfortable, overall lovely guy and very helpful.

Firstly, ignore most of the five star reviews on here. They are blatantly bogus, a more accurate rating can be found elsewhere on the net.

Secondly, note that this used to be Ecomaster Industries Ltd. and is now Ecomaster Commercial Ltd. These con-artists have 'phoenixed' their company in order to avoid paying their debts. That should give you an idea about the sort of people you are dealing with here.

Long story short - We used Ecomaster (Industries at the time) for an independent report as Harveys Furniture sold us a table infected with woodworm.
Their 'technician' (I use that word in its loosest possible sense) attended for about ten minutes and couldn't get the job done quick enough. He agreed that it was woodworm and that we should get rid of the table immediately. He then prepared a poorly written, amateurish looking report saying as such. We weren't impressed at all but as the report stated what we already knew, we went with it.
Harvey's disagreed with the report saying it was a 'design feature' which, unless they design actual woodworm larvae into their tables, was complete garbage.
After a bit of to-and-fro, Ecomaster threw their own technician under the bus telling us he 'lacked training'. Ecomaster then went completely silent and unresponsive, we heard nothing more from them until the legals started.
As this halfwit had told us to dispose of our table and Ecomaster had backed him to the hilt until they decided not to - with Harvey's encouragement one presumes - I held Ecomaster responsible and started court proceedings against them. Their defense was that I had lied to their technician and shown him stock pictures of woodworm from Google.

The pictures were date and location tagged to my home address so that was easily provable nonsense.

Of course nobody from Ecomaster had the spine to attend court and the judge was about as impressed with their behaviour as I was. Judgement was awarded in my favour.

At this point you'd think that would be the end of it but no, Ecomaster never paid their judgement - they had the audacity to ask for my bank details to do so but never did so I sent the high court bailiffs after them. When the HCEO attended the premises, Ecomaster, showing its customary lack of backbone, refused to open the door and hid inside until he went away. It was at that point that I discovered the company had 'phoenixed' to dodge it's debts including the £1695.91 it owed to me.

So there you are, a truly dodgy firm run by shysters that has already had an appearance on Watchdog and will hopefully be getting another. Also, this is the much abridged review. The sheer incompetence and unpleasantness involved in dealing with and being scammed by these people is difficult to put into words.

You have been warned.

Really should be zero star, absolutely disgusting service by James. Sent out by Ikea to assess sofa foam which has collapsed, he agrees it is faulty and leaves to submit report. But in report he then states wear and tear so no fix, how the hell can only one piece of foam collapse due to wear and tear when the rest of the sofa (only 10 months old) be immaculate, independent report I don’t think so

Absolutely disgusting service from this company

Ikea had arranged for them to come and look at our 5 month old mattress! However Lorraine on the telephone was very very rude refused to give me an email address for my complaint! I am still awaiting an appointment - despite us not being able to sleep on the mattress Lorraine didn’t feel my appointment should be urgent despite my husband having a slipped disc in his neck!

Really poor service, multiple rebooks! Looks like this new company (check Companies House) has managed to take on the reviews for a previous company of a similar name which liquidated - same directors though! Tells you what you need to know, cowboys trying to fleece people/companies out of their hard earned, avoid!

professional and helpful service from the technician who inspected my ikea mattress in Glasgow. Offered good advice

I reported a broken John Lewis sofa frame in early June. The Ecomaster repair technician arrived finally on 29th September. Unfortunately insufficient parts had been ordered. The technician left splinters, nails and large sharp staples over the floor and the sofa is unusable. No subsequent communication to explain how long this will be left.
