Cada vez sabe peor este café (en España comercializado como marcas Saimaza y Marcilla). Prefiero pagar un poco mas y utizar otra marca que sepa mejor.

I always purchase Douwe Egberts (DE) coffee and have never had an issue. However, a recent jar that I bought smells awful, tastes even worse and leaves some form of sediment at the bottom of the cup. I advised DE of this and they ask me for pictures of the product, along with the bar code and date/location of the purchase. The response I got was that the batches checked for the delivery that went to that specific B&M store (as if I'm expected to believe that) was quality checked and no issues were found - no offer of a replacement or apology. Absolutely appalling service!

Just bought a L'or barista machine which I'm happy with. However, trying to redeem my 20 lb voucher has resulted in me me being charged a full amount and this is at the second attempt at trying to redeem the voucher. It failed. The first time told me that my voucher wasn't valid. Then I got a follow-up email with essentially the same code and found that there was no box to put the code into. So when I entered the payment details it just took the money out and I thought the discount code box would appear on the next page. I think these websites are designed in such a way as to extract money deliberately by being deceptive.... Or at least difficult to use. If customers register and have problems getting the discount they will give up complaining and just shrug their shoulders and think. Oh well, I've been charged now. I will boycott the product if they don't refund me.

Smaak is matig, beslist niet de ouderwetse DE-smaakkwaliteit, beetje zanderig en hard.
Daarnaast een absolute ramp voor mijn Citiz-machine. Er gaat bijna net zoveel water in het bakje als in mijn kopje, 40/60.
Waarschijnlijk is dit heel slecht voor het apparaat. Misleidende cupjes dus.

Na een melding werd ik zeer vlot geholpen, en eelr was een zeer aardige oplossing. Top!

Absolutely appalling customer service, bought x2 boxes of their ristretto pods for my new coffee machine 17 out 80 failed to give a cup of coffee. When I complained about this I was given the run-a- round, Having to repeat the same things over and over explaining I no longer had the receipt,packaging and pods (I had sent pic though) explaining the s'mkt would not deal with it as no receipt or packaging etc. Obstructive and basically rubbish. I won't ever buy Douwe egberts crap again and would & will advise anyone else not to waste their money.

Even kijken wat je voor je punten kunt krijgen kun je wel vergeten. na vele omwegen en klikken van Douwe Egberts tot de bruna kom je tot de conclusie dat je tot irritatie toe nog niets weet of producten gevonden hebt. Een account aanmaken blijkt ook al moeilijk te zijn. Blijkt alles pas in dit voorjaar klaar te zijn en moet je naar een Bruna om ta gaan kijken, alsof iedereen een auto heeft of een Bruna in de buurt. Hiep hiep hoera de digitale prut wereld. Alles moet zogenaamd makkelijker en handiger zijn en sneller. maak elkaar niets wijs het is ramp na ramp met alles en je speelt zelf voor de administratieve medewerker. Ik wil gewoon even kijken waarvoor ik gespaard heb, helaas!!!!

Was always my go to Instant Coffee, after Nescafé totally ruined Gold Blend about 5 years ago, when they changed from Arabica to truly awful Robusta! Nescafé thought nobody would notice, and they could continue to sell ot, but at much lower quality, and with that weird, bitter over roasted taste! That failed abysmally.
So Douwe Egberts became a decent replacement 4 strength.
So they get bought out last year…and guess what, the new versions under the new owners are gruesome Robusta bean based! At £8.50 a jar, they are dreaming! No more for me, watch Douwe Egberts appear in huge quantities at bargain stores now! Shame.🙄🤬

I recently purchased the Douwe Egberts Special Edition coffee, and I must say, if the intention was to create a product so profoundly disappointing that it makes customers question every life choice that led them to this purchase, then congratulations — mission accomplished.

The experience began the moment I opened the jar. Normally, you’re greeted with that warm, comforting aroma that says, “Yes, this is coffee, and yes, you made a good decision.” Instead, I was met with… nothing. Not a hint of freshness. Not even the faintest whisper of a coffee smell. It was like opening a jar of air that had given up on itself. I even checked the seal twice, just in case I’d accidentally bought a decorative prop instead of an actual consumable product.

Then came the taste test — and I genuinely wish it hadn’t. The flavour is astonishing in the worst possible way. It somehow manages to taste cheaper than the cheapest supermarket own‑brand coffee, which is quite an achievement for a “special edition.”

The aftertaste deserves its own paragraph, because it is truly something to behold. A sharp, unpleasant twang that clings to your mouth like it’s trying to punish you for drinking it. I needed another drink immediately just to get rid of the taste, and frankly, I’m still not convinced it’s gone.

If this is the direction Douwe Egberts is heading with their blends, then I wish them the best of luck, because they will be doing it without me. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but this was the final straw — or perhaps the final stale coffee granule. I’ll be switching to Nescafé Gold Blend, because at least they still remember what coffee is supposed to taste like.

In summary: if you enjoy coffee that smells of nothing, tastes of regret, and leaves an aftertaste that haunts you, then by all means, give this “special edition” a try. As for me, I’ll be taking my custom elsewhere.

Didn't realise Lor was Douwe Egberts until I read the customer proof jar. If you can open it, using half the tools in your garage, without spilling the contents you can give yourself a pat on the back. Never use the jar again-decant into a jar from another maker. Better still, get your coffee from another maker.

wat is er toch gebeurd met de koffiebonen van douwe egberts nummer 5 aroma rood?

Ik heb vorig jaar een nieuw koffiezetapparaat gekocht altijd de zelfde gehad jarenlang maar deze nieuwe van over de 200,00 waardeloos . Altijd is de koffie lauw en als je een tweede kopje wilt moet je snel zijn anders is het apparaat uit . Wat jammer van het geld .

Pffffff wat moet ik met een boek .... wat een pieppppp punt om mijn DE spaarpunten in te leveren Douwe Egberts ... kom met iets fatsoenlijks. Of kom met niets .... 80% kan niks met Bruna .... mvg Mario Haazen

Afgelopen najaar hebben wij met de DE punten 9 dubbelwandige theeglazen en 8 koffiekopjes gehaald bij Blokker Maastricht. Tot op heden zijn er al vier van deze dubbelewandige theeglazen gaan lekken. Ik heb DE erover gemaild maar de reactie was erg beschamend zij geloofde mij niet. Ik heb DE terug gemaild dat het bedrijf zich heel erg diep moet schamen om zo’n reactie te sturen naar de mensen.
Zo serieus gaat de DE met hun klanten om🤨

Recently, they started scamming people with horrible coffee — completely different from what I used to buy — and it now costs £8! What have you done to your coffee? Are you adding something else to it?

I recently treated myself to (or so I thought) a large jar of douwe Egbert coffee in Tesco it cost 8 pounds. It is the worst coffee I have tasted in a long time, it is weak and tasteless and only fit for the bin. I don’t know what they’ve done to it since I last bought a jar but they should be thoroughly ashamed to be selling this rubbish!

De prijs van koffie moest omhoog ivm hogere kosten.... nu is de winst van Douwe Egberts ineens enorm gestegen....nu weten we waar de onnodige prihsstijging naartoe isxl gegaan. Rechtstreeks in de zakken van Douwe Egberts... we zijn weer boor de gek gehouden.

Huge expensive machines that never works, constantly require maintenance and full of unwanted features making it unmaintainable. Don't get me started on the full size touchscreen display. The previous machine has been broken more often than it has been working. The new machine is even bigger. All this for a tiny office where we end up using the 15 euros small coffee machines we had to buy as a backup, and that is working as it should. I have no doubt the next machine with have AI, voice assistance, and more useless features. I know which brand I will not chose for my home coffee machine!

Wat een manipulatief gedoe, het verheerlijken van het hebben van buren. 99% baalt van hun buren, en kom aub niet aan met het verhaal de wereld te willen verbeteren.
Wat een psychologisch theater.
En graai onze zakken nog wat meer leeg onder het mom van slechte oogst klimaatcrisis oorlog moreel misbruik.
