The breakfast we bought was the worst we’ve ever had im sorru but very poor portion and quality

My daughter and I took my two grandchildren to the soft play, we decided to get a coffee we ordered 1 coffee 1 tea 1 juice 1 coke, 3 scones 2 jam and the eye watering bill was £31 how on earth can they charge such prices and why dont they have price lists so you can see before getting to the till..... SHOCKING!!!

The staff were nice, but there are too few people, and perhaps too few coffee machines since the wait for hot drinks is excessive.

I go to the restaurant quite a lot and the staff are always very good but the manager Toni was doing the Xmas decorations and what a difference it has made, cosy inviting I have said many times to my partner that the restaurant is good but needs some plants or decorations and better lighting after Xmas and the Halloween decorations were excellent

We took our grandsons to see the lovely Christmas display and to feed the koi carp before lunch in the restaurant. They had a great time and we are looking forward to the arrival of Santa. 🎅

I don’t write reviews very often but the festive dinner at Dobbies was almost inedible.
What was ok turkey, stuffing and roast potatoes.
What wasn’t carrots were completely raw, spouts were like super balls everything was cold by the time we got it.
I took the carrots back on a separate plate and told the staff member they weren’t cooked he just said do you want something else. I said cooked ones but that would take time and my dinner was already cold. For £13.49 it was school dinner quality at best.
Won’t be returning for food

Excellent display of Christmas goodies.

I always enjoy my visits to Dobbies. The staff are ALL friendly and helpful.
I love my FREE coffees too.

Store looked lovely when we went in. We found what we were looking for really easily and lovely staff were there to point us in the right direction when we couldn't locate something. Store had everything that we wanted and prices were good too.

Bought plant pots as advertised at sale prices. Very happy with purchases.

This company is a joke,....
I purchased a hanging basket from Dobbies in Gosforth 8 weeks ago, i was asked if i wanted to join the privileged members club, as i would receive discounts, free coffees etc, i said yes, took my bank details and said i would receive a card in the post, to which i did, "happy days" or so i thought.
I called in store 2 weeks later to buy some more hanging baskets, produced my card and she said i was not a member, i said how when i received my card, and you took my bank details, she said had the £12 come out of my bank, i said i assumed so i had not cancelled anything, a queue was forming behind me making me very anxious, as if i had not sufficient funds, to which i said ,forget it, i will write to Head office confirm what happened when i applied. This was 3/4 weeks ago, i've had no acknowledgement or response, and i am still receiving all these wonderful offers via email that i cannot have....
Very poor service and i wont be going back.
Stay well away from any promotions as they are fake...

We regularly meet our friends at the restaurant for a coffee.
There was a long queue held up by the tea and coffee orders. There was one person making the coffees.
When it is busy why do you not introduce some sort of filter system - one queue for food and one solely for hot drinks? Also, no one seems to step in to help out with the hot drink preparation.
One other thing, the tables were not cleared and wiped promptly, giving a shabby appearance.

wasn't too crowded, no long wait in the restaurant
