I’ve really enjoyed my time at DistanceLearningCentre. It’s been a great experience where I’ve learned a lot and tried new things. The tutors were always checking in with weekly updates and were there whenever I needed help. They supported me in every way, whether it was extra resources, tutorials, or just answering questions, which made a big difference.

I’ve always wanted to work in the medical field, and this course has been my first step toward making that happen. It gave me hope for the future and helped me move forward with my studies. Because of it, I got offers from a few universities, and now I’m about to start studying Biomedical Science to see where it leads.

Honestly, I couldn’t have done it without my tutor’s support, and I’m really grateful for all the help along the way.

The tutors on the course have been amazing, very helpful when I needed help. The course has been very flexible, I would recommend it.

It's a great course that I am studying informative and tutor is great with communication

I have been with the Distance Lesrning centre since last August and due to complete this course in August.It has been amazing full of support and I have improved so much

I had a very disappointing experience with my English Functional Skills through Distance Learning, the first tutor assigned to me was very unhelpful, and there was a very little help available when I needed it. Despite multiple attempts, I struggled to pass due to the lack of support and encouragement. I also I found the team to be quite unhelpful and unfriendly whenever I reach out for assistance. However, I want to highlight and thank one tutor in particular. She was the only one who truly supported me. Thanks to her calm, friendly manner and clear explanations, I was finally able to understand the learning materials and modules. I only had a few sessions with her, but they made a massive difference. I truly wish I had been assigned to her from the beginning she deserve 100 stars.

Distance learning has been a stepping stone for my future. I have enjoyed learning through the materials and assessment provided. My tutors help with weekly check-in and encouragement to push through. And how I would be challenged to be able to submit excellent work. So many skill set gained from this course and have learned a lot. Will recommend this to anyone as it has given me hope to look forward to the future and progress with studies.

This course and company have been amazing. My tutors have been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout my time with them. The materials and website are very informative, teaching me all the knowledge and skills required to complete the assessments. The course structure is simple to navigate and there is an overall positive learning attitude throughout. This course has helped me get into university and further my career! I had a really positive experience studying with DLC, and the support from my tutor was a big part of that. They were always patient, approachable, and incredibly helpful whenever I had questions or needed something explained more clearly. They had no problem with giving me additional help and resources, and supported me when I inevitably made mistakes at the start of the course. Their guidance really helped and allowed me to stay motivated throughout the course until I completed my diploma.

I was studying law and the legal profession, and thanks to the flexibility of the course, the adaptable schedule, and consistent support I received, I’m now going on to study law at a Russell Group university ranked in the top 10 in the UK. It is safe to say that I couldn't have done it without my tutor and I will always be grateful for it.

If you’re looking for a service with tutors who genuinely care and want to help you succeed, I’d definitely recommend them to you. The experience is wholly adaptable to your schedule and ability, and overall delivers academic qualifications capable of enabling you to compete with traditional A-level students.

The tutor and course material are very good.

The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I find my user area of the website quite difficult to find my way around and sometimes take quite a long time trying to find the right document.

I didn't enjoy the fact that tutors were changed along the way of my course I am use to working with one person as it affects my concentration and working patter.

I do not reccomend this course, for over £1000 I was expecting a clear, helpful pathway to succeeding, however I believe from a) how the course is structured and b) the support that was offered to me that this course provider was trying to set me up for failure from the beginning.

Without a doubt, I am a smart and capable person. However, the way the work was set was not clear at all. I would’ve expected for there to be some sort of an induction to the course to at least help break down the work to an understandable degree, however, I only got sent an email briefly explaining how the course works.

In addition my tutor was completely unhelpful, unprofessional and only seemed to make matters worse. I explained to her I was experiencing lack of motivation due to the complex format of the work and to this she said “the only way to handle procrastination is to just do it.” no sense of compassion, no sense of understanding.

Everytime I tried to get in contact with her she had a very dismissive demeanour and to highlight the extent of her dismissal, I’ve been trying to get my work done as soon as possible and to this, she just threw me to a different tutor. Now if she did this from the start that would’ve been amazing as due to earlier contact I felt as though I couldn’t speak to her but for her to do this last minute when I need her help more than ever just makes me question her as a tutor all together.

To summarise, if you are looking for a course to benefit you you will not find this at distance learning centre, from my experience I believe they are trying to get as much money as they can from us without wanting to help us succeed.

Amazing tutor, helped me get through the course very easily. She was really supporting. Although I never met her in person I could sense her kindness and support. Very grateful to have her as my tutor.

From the beginning they’ve been very kind and supportive, I can’t thank her enough her patience and knowledge. I wouldn’t hesitate if you were considering doing an access course with the DLC, lots of helpful information and online guidance available on the their website to!

I am almost at the end of my Distance Learning studies and I am very pleased with how it has gone so far. I have been able to organise my studies around my work and family commitments without any problems, managing my workload as I progress in a flexible and accessible way. Each assignment contained material that was clear and helpful and the one to one support from the tutor was invaluable throughout. The feeling of achievement after each assignment is priceless.

Very impressed with my biology tutor as responsive and graded my papers extremely fast

The course is well structured and the online platform is easy to navigate. I receive prompt, detailed feedback from a very knowledgeable, patient and supportive tutor. The helpful webinars and regular reminders as we approach moderation day are very helpful.

It was very effective

Honestly, I’m part way through my course and have had nothing but problems. Although the tutors always respond to your email and are there they don’t help with anything if you have a problem or don’t understand it. They just send you off to deal with the problem on your own. When trying to find resources and instructions for what you need to do in the assignments it’s like a treasure hunt and none of the information is together. My tutor told me to use a specific website in my essay and to reference it so I did exactly that, I get my feedback and I have been downgraded to a Merit, when I need quite a lot of distinctions for what I want to go onto study at university, and was told in my feedback that I could not use that website because it wasn’t accurate information and wasn’t the right level when I was specifically told to use that website. I’ve spent over £1000 on this course and it’s a complete let down. As someone who has health conditions which is made so much worse by stress this course has done nothing but stress me out and make me poorly. Don’t recommend at all.
