Yet ANOTHER disastrous delivery/installation from DID. I actually went against my better judgement after the disastrous episode with a washing machine purchase/installation a few months ago with this company. Being Irish I wanted to give them another chance-big mistake.
Ordered an oven online for my elderly parents on Tuesday as their own one broke. Picked out oven and quickest delivery date of today, Thursday 10th September and booked installation for same date (extra €100). I took today off work to be here for the installation etc. Got text this morning to say they will be here between 12-3pm. Doorbell rang and my dad answered to see Van pulling out and driving away. Rang DID and eventually got through after holding for ages. Explained to the girl what had happened etc. She said she would find out what happened and ring me back. She rang me back and told me that the delivery guy tried ringing me a few times and no answer (complete lie as no call made to my number) and that he was at destination for a much longer time than he really was (yet another lie). Delivery now booked for Saturday at a time unknown yet so guests coming for dinner on Saturday have to be cancelled and I wasted a days holiday waiting on this delivery. I don't know what is going on in DID but they are a disaster. I have logged a ticket for reply by senior manager by phone to explain this yet another disastrous order. Surely with all technology at hand there shouldn't be so much errors and bad handling. Such a shame

I had a great experience with Eoin in the Limerick store. I chatted through my options for TVs with him and he was happy to answer all my questions as well looking up competitor’s prices. Excellent customer service skills and was not pressuring me to buy anything or upsell products I didn’t want.

Haven’t got the laptop itself yet, so can’t speak about the product. The ordering online experience is extremely poor though. Notification email to say the sale has gone through. Then nothing for 5 days, no notifications to say the order is being processed or expected delivery. Then DPD get and less said the better about that. Which is why I can’t review the product.

We were in the Airside Swords store yesterday. We purchased a Hotpoint Tumble Dryer. We dealt with Paul. Paul was very knowledgeable and advised us the correct dryer to purchase based on where we are storing it. He was also very friendly to deal with. Thanks, Janet and Michael Graham

As always DID will be my go to for all electricals. Customer service is second to none. Always competitively priced. Best shop for electrics both big and small.

I had a fantastic experience at DID in Airside, Dublin! I was looking to buy a washing machine, and Deva was incredibly helpful from start to finish.

I explained exactly what I needed and what my budget was, and in less than 20 minutes, everything was sorted! He answered all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and really understood what I was looking for.

What initially felt like a difficult and overwhelming process became so easy and stress-free thanks to his help. Deva was knowledgeable, patient, and excellent at his job.

Have purchased many appliances from DID over the years. Always found staff very helpful. Today was no different Mandy was very informative and a pleasure to deal with.

Johnathon installed my oven really quickly and efficiently! He was so kind and was quick to arrange a delivery time when I missed him the first time.
