I had a great experience working with the DesignMantic team. They were super helpful from start to finish and delivered a branding package that I genuinely love. They also gave me a great pricing deal on merchandise, which I really appreciated.
The team addressed all of my notes and handled revisions in a timely and professional manner. My main point of contact was Alan, who was always very responsive and made sure every detail I mentioned was taken care of. His communication was respectful, polite, and prompt throughout the process.

Buyer beware!!!!!!!
After several years this company contacted me with an ultimatum telling me they still own the copyright to the logo i purchased. Someone else has now shown interest in my logo so if I wanted to retain it I would have to now buy the copyright a complete con, buyer beware of Design m’anticipa or should that read antics !!!!!

Absolute bullshit
16 years I've been using this design and I've only been told now that I don't hold the copy right but on my original paperwork I do so I've waited 16 years to be billed 100s of dollars otherwise they were going to sell my design to someone else, what a loverly start to the design and excellent to start a business with, and to keep it i understand after like 2 years to contact someone but 16 years is pathetic really need to keep in contact with your customers a lot better than that

Shakedown marketing tactics
It seems shaking people down for more money is part of their core business model. Bought some logo from them many years ago. In February 2023 they contacted me, saying:
You downloaded a logo from our website. Actually, there’s a client who is interested in copyrighting the same logo symbol. But I’m holding it for you in case you want us to transfer the copyright ownership to you.
I did answer saying what they can go do with themselves since I wasn't using the logo anymore anyways.
Two weeks ago, they're at it again, different dude this time:
Kindly be informed that we have a client who wants to proceed with the copyright ownership of the same logo design symbol for the trademark that you purchased from us and using. You purchased this logo first and used it for so long that's why we are approaching you first to retain its copyrights/ownership right to secure your logo. We have no objection to providing him the logo with full copyright ownership; however, if the new buyer registers it as a trademark, you may no longer be able to use the same logo legally anywhere.
Presumably they'll just keep doing it because why not?

To clarify, our outreach in these cases is not meant to pressure or “shake down” anyone. Our platform offers ready-made logo designs, which multiple users can access unless full copyright ownership is purchased. When another party expresses interest in exclusive rights to a logo, we reach out to any prior users as a courtesy—to give them the first opportunity to secure those rights if they wish to continue using the design long-term or plan to trademark it.
You mentioned you’re no longer using the logo, and we completely respect that. If that’s the case, no further action is needed on your end. We’ll update our records accordingly.
We genuinely appreciate your past business and apologize if our communication came across in any way other than transparent and respectful.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. They are scammers. They will contact you a few years after creating a logo demanding money for copyright ownership or another 'customer' will use it. I paid for full copyright ownership in 2023 as our company had spent a substantial amount on trade branding. I have just received ANOTHER email demanding money for ownership. Complete scammers. Luckily I have the email trails and receipts. My advice is just don't engage with this company.
UPDATE: They contacted when they saw this review and told me it was a glitch. Ownership Agreement and files have just been forwarded onto me today along with an email asking me to remove or update my review. The evidence speaks for itself.
Transparency goes a long way. As a matter of principal, it should be made very clear prior to creating a logo that if you want to have the exclusive rights to the logo then you will be up charged upwards of US$500 for ownership of the copyrights. Simple and honest disclosure is all we ask.
