I really wish I had checked the reviews before working with this company. What started as a simple project turned into an exhausting cycle of extra charges, unclear explanations, and constant upselling. Every time I thought an issue was resolved, I was told I needed to pay more for something new.

At one point, they even restricted access to the services I had already paid for, and communication became almost impossible. Nothing was delivered as originally promised, and trying to get a refund or even a straight answer was extremely frustrating.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend being very cautious. The whole situation felt misleading from start to finish, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same.

This company deserves negative 1000 stars. They'll promise you something. Then, they'll say it's completed and they need more money to implement it. After you pay them again, they still won't provide the services you ordered. One of my biggest regrets is ever getting involved with these people. They are scum of the Earth. Whatever you do, do not get involved with them.

THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL FRAUD! IT has been such a nightmare for me these past few years. I was new to this world of media and learned quickly!
They had my website turned into a porn sight and charged me 100’s to get it back up.

This company is a HUGE SCAM!!! They make you feel like you're getting a deal, and then they shut down your website and hold it hostage for more money. They sell you a lifetime of hosting and then take it away and ask you if you got it in writing. Then, they offer it again with a written offer, a year later, they shut down the website again saying hosting has expired. Now, they figured out I have it in writing, so it's about me needing a security plugin for hundreds of dollars! They have literally extorted thousands of dollars from me alone! Do NOT do business with this company.

STAY AWAY or REPORT ABUSE. Design Eminent (DE) is hosted on Liquid Web (LW), which is a legitimate company. The IP# that DE is using is 67dot227dot158dot102. You can report DE for misusing the LW servers for malicious activity at their abuse complaints page (Google: "liquid web abuse form"). In our case they recommended contacting law enforcement.*

DE was hired to redesign my client's website, but they hijacked it from the reliable hosting service, where it was paid up for 3 years in advance, and they installed it on their account at Liquid Web, not supplying my client with a password.

My client paid an extra $999 over the phone for SEO to improve Google rankings. Weeks later when nothing was done, I inquired with DE, and was sent an invoice stating the charge was for "Lifetime Plugin Renewal", which is a process that is typically automated. When my client asked for the money back, they cut off communications and, didn't do any plugin updates.

Avoid this company, it is a scam.

As you can appreciate, our obligation is to address this directly with our customer so we will not share any details of the investigation or actions with external parties. We appreciate you raising this issue and take all concerns of this matter very seriously. *You may wish to consider pursuing this with the applicable law enforcement authorities in this case.

UPDATE: After reporting them to Liquid Web, and here, we got the last $999 refunded. So it does help to put pressure on them. Unfortunately they sent a series of threatening texts (see their Google Ad Reviews). Apparently they don't realize I moved the site off their server. I have no doubt they would take the site down if they could. I have also reported these threats to LW. If enough folks complain I hope they will get kicked off the server.

I paid for a $19 package with a very specific request. I was after the fact that the mascot style logo I wanted was actually only available in a $300 package. This was very unclear during the initial sign up. When I received my 3 low quality logo options, none of them were even remotely close to what I had requested. I was reasonable upset that my specs had been completely ignored and since the logos I did receive were low quality anyways, I requested a refund. The customer service I received was horrendous! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS! You’re wasting your time!

Beware! They do business under "parent companies" such as "Design Flit" “Design Eminent” "Logo in 30 Minutes" “Design Solutions”and "Smart Start Up Solutions" What started as me wanting a simple logo for my LAW firm ended up in thousands of dollars spent. After having them create a logo for me for $149, (which I could have and should have had done locally), they told me that in order to release the logo, I had to pay $410 to have it copyrighted. Now mind you, my logo has MY NAME on it so I did not need it copyrighted nor did I want it copyrighted. But nonetheless, I paid the $410 against my better judgement. Prior to hitting me with the copyright fee, I had agreed to allow them to create a website for me. They told me they could beat the local web designers prices and provide me with everything that he could for much less. I read off to him what the local provider included in their price which was: website creation, hosting, SEO, indexing, and domain management, to name a few. The cost was going to be $699 and 3 months SEO included due to the "copyright issue." Then, after I paid that, guess what? ANOTHER SURPRISE! The price they quoted me did not include hosting - although JOHN FREEMAN (who I have been dealing with) told me that everything the local provider was offering, he was providing for $699. He told me that godaddy, bluehost, etc. were far more expensive than their company and that my website had "different requirements" and the "developer we will need a dedicated hosting server. Dedicated Dedicated. The dedicated hosting is an Internet hosting option in which a physical server (or servers) is dedicated to a single business customer. The customer has complete control over the machine, so they can optimize it for their unique requirements, including performance and security." He included screenshots of comparative hosting companies and said he could beat their price. After some extensive negotiating and arguments, I reluctantly paid $1140 for them to host my account. THEN - I had to provide my Google Business Workplace login information so they could "transfer the domain" to their hosting site. I was promised repeatedly that there would be NO MORE SURPRISES. After weeks and hours and hours of going back and forth about the very simple website layout, it was finally uploaded and live. Then I get this email: "I am emailing you in regards about the Domain Registration. It's been notified by developers that you're domain is not indexed on google listing. We did make your site appear on google but after doing this activity we got the notification from Google that complete the registration process or website and emails will be suspended.In most of the circumstances where we purchase a domain for any customer we complete the registration process at the same time, In your case you have purchased it by your self way back in 2020." But guess what - for $699 I could pay them to register MY DOMAIN THAT I HAD ALREADY BOUGHT AND OWN. I contacted Google and they stated that I would have to transfer the domain back to google by getting the credentials from the administrator of my account. I contacted JOHN FREEMAN again and told him that I wanted my account transferred back to Google. He told me it would be $2000 to do that. TO GET CONTROL OF NY DOMAIN BACK!!! In the meantime, my law office email has been completely shut down! I have spent the entire day trying to get this resolved - which means lots of money lost by me. Finally, JOHN FREEMAN agrees to charge $499 for one year of registration, indexing and crawling for $499. I agree to pay simply because of the urgency in getting my emails back and then guess what? My card is declined. Why is it declined? Well - my bank tells me it is flagged by the fraud department because there is a problem with the merchant ID and that the merchant names from the previous transactions are not matching. I WENT SEVERAL DAYS WITHOUT EMAIL AND THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME CONTROL OF THE DOMAIN THAT I BOUGHT BEFORE I AGREED TO ALLOW THEM TO CREATE MY WEBSITE.

UPDATE : In May 2021, I was promised that if I removed all my negative reviews, they would give me control of my domain on January 28,2022. (When the contract supposedly expired.) Today, Mark Eden, “Senior Accounts manager” is telling me that I have to PAY $999 to get control of my domain and end my service with them! Now I am not getting or receiving any emails because my email is connected to MY domain name that I bought from Google Business!

THE worst absolutely deplorable company I have EVER worked with. I implore you to RUN as fast you as can. Please don't waste your time (1 1/2 years) and money like I did. I'm out of pocket $1600 for what was an "all inclusive" $350 promo. Horrible MONEY GRUBBING unscrupulous group you can fathom. RUN!

Design Eminent is part of a string of fraudulent companies operating under the umbrella company Digitonics, based in Pakistan and investigated for money laundering and impersonating USPTO employees. Avoid this company like the plague. They are not a legit company - they prey on people who don't know anything about building websites. They over-promise, under-deliver and will charge you frequently for services.

FRAUD ALERT! Forgery-Money Laundering. Be careful dealing with this company. The office in Newark, NJ is non-existent running a fraudulent business. They are scammers!! Do not spend 1 cent with this company.

My name is a Octavius Junious I own a Security Guard Service and Investigations company. I have used Design Eminent to build a website for my wife they did a great job. Then I asked them to do a project for me. I was set up with Steven Clark and I was sent to Danny Edward the project started in October I paid them 500 dollars to start the project. In December the project was to be complete it was not. So many problems was found they could not deliver I was told a more Senior Manager had to get involved Dale Evans at the end of December they gifted me the website design to compensate for the delays so I thought. At the beginning of January no communication from Design Eminent from January to March. On March 5, 2021 I send a email on the Design Utility portal about the lack of Professionalism. I received a call from Danny who I have not herd from in 2 or 3 month stating that thy had server issues. I lost 3 clients total 1 Million. At the middle of my first project with them we started a landscaping business I wanted them to redeem themselves so I gave them another project that when everything went from bad to worst I gave up 400 at of 500 that they was asking for. I'm still waiting for my first project to be finished it is now April the first project started in October 2020. I have pulled my second project and got my legal team involved. Now the new Senior Manager / Operation Manager I was told was Ally Shaw and the legal Manager the name we was given was Fred Martin. I have sent both an email on Tuesday of last week I also was scheduled a phone call by Upper Management on Thursday of last week NO EMAIL RESPONSE and NO RETURN PHONE CALL FROM MANAGEMENT OR THE LEGAL TEAM. A real legal team would have emailed you with in 24 to 48 hours. I have send a request for a refund. We were told that the compensation website will not be complete if I don't move forward with the second project as to say that the two project was linked and I sent them that project two months after the start of the first one so many words they don't care about the Federal Consumer laws that entitled to a refund. In short if we don't move forward with the build we will not get a refund or a website. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION SCAM SCAM SCAM RUN.

WARNING: I signed a lifetime hosting contract with Design Eminent about three years ago for $2298. The contract entitles you to a 100% money back guarantee if you’re not satisfied or do not wish to continue with them for whatsoever reasons, it also states this is a onetime fee that you are paying for. I couple of months ago the Company went into my Private Foundation checking account and took out hundreds of dollars without my consent, my Bank Fraud Department refunded me back the funds and had Design Eminent refund my money back. On 4/6/2021, I started receiving a text message without a name, only stating this is Design Eminent, and I needed to pay $750 to keep my website up, I refused; I then received phone calls from someone refusing to give me their name the next day soliciting me for the $750 payment; I refused to make a payment and my website started displaying a message (OOPS, That page can't be found). This has been one of my worst experiences with doing business with any Company ever. I will pursue civil action to the highest degree. Everyone beware of this Company (Design Eminent)!

They did a great job with my logo!!! Fast and efficient. I have used Danny Edward and Steven Clark at Design Eminent before, and they did an excellent job with logos. They gave me a superb selection of choices. It was hard to choose from all of the good ones. Bill Crofton

These people are operating a racketeering scam. I paid over $4000 back in October 2019 and experienced the same extortion tactics experienced by many of you. They have now pulled the plug from my access to their portal and left me with nothing, stealing my domain site. All the positive reviews are bogus. They have been reported to the NJ Attorney Generals Office (who is also Indian) and they are being investigated. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!BEWARE!!!!!

Beware, do not purchase any service. I paid for a logo design, they delivered the logo on time. Then they started calling me to upgrade my package so they can design my website. I told the salesperson that I will not be working anytime soon on my website since we are in the beginning stages, and he told me that I have nothing to worry about if I pay the fee I will be able to work on my website anytime. Now I call them and they are telling me that because I waited too long I have to pay a charge of 50% extra of the amount already paid. Basically, they stole my money since they did not even start working on my project.

After the web site was created and paid off, it was removed and the company asked to pay $750 to put the web site gammaset.com back. I wrote them e-mail that this is a pure scam. Why we pay for a web site to be removed and to pay again? What the hell it is .. Do we live in US or we play in a criminal scene in a bad movie? Where are the legals, are these people pretend to work in US and scam us from aborad?

UPDATE: The company created our web site using CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM/CODEIGNITER. They decided to update their server from Apache HTTP Server 2.2 to Apache HTTP Server 2.4
They did not ask or inform us for this update. As a result there is a need to convert the web page to the new updated Server.
And the Web Site is not going to work if we don't pay additionally $1,500 dollars. It is not in our agreement and not in our expectations. They said they could make a discount, but wait a minute- we just have paid $1,300 two months ago (January 2021), and the web site wasn't finished. We have finished the web site internally. With the hosting the total cost is $4,000. And we have nothing. And I have agreements with companies waiting to sale their products...

UPDATE: We did hire another company to fix the web problem. They found also a problem in the web site and they fixed it gammaset(dot)com is working now. Take a look.
WAIT A MINUTE, we got a NEW WARNING from Design Eminent, insisting that we need to pay them $750 to fix the web site or they will cancel the use of the server we have paid over $2000.
How you call this? It is everything BUT a professional work. WARNINGS for a DAMAGE to our business is the way how we have been treated all the time with our money paid as normal customers. The GOAL this company has is to pay more. Once you start paying, it makes you as a "wallet" to pay forever.

Analysis**For every negative consumer who reports a Negative rated experience which is registered on any website, they counter with a positive LIE to maintain an overall positive experience rating .** This company MALICOUSLY adds FALSE CLAIMS of customers having a good services. They deceive consumers to pay for a good discounted price for web design services. Design Eminent reports FICTITIOUS REVIEWS on their website. RESEARCH!

Very sweet talkers and everyone claims to be the senior person there.
In August 2020 i spoke with Ian Lcas ( senior sales manager) about getting my online store built.
I paid entirely for what was required and promised a completion of 3 to 4 weeks contractually.
Then I was handed over to STEVE CLARK as my senior designer who claimed to head the designing department and was told by him in writing that he will be the person looking after my project from start to finish.
he asked for payment for content writing and I did.
Just after payment I was transfered to DANNY EDWARDS .
it took over 5 months now and the website is not live with my satisfaction.
It ended up that I had to write all the content, design all the banners myself and basically all they had to do was put all together.
They always ask for more money for differnt things.
2 weeks back Danny asked me to pay for the hosting and said that the website will go live right after i pay.
i did not authorize that but still a payment from my credit card was taken for that and as of today it is STILL not active.
Last week Friday a lady by the name of AMY intercepted my call for Danny and said she was the person overlloking all projects to be completed on time.
I explained my situation and frustration.
She promised that all will be completed within few hours but since then she completly stopped ansering he phone and replying to me messages.
I have constantly advised them and reminded them obout the deadline and also mede it clear to them that my company is loosing a lot of clientele and revenue due to the delay but their false promises never end.

CAUTION If anyone is considering of getting their work done by DESIGN EMINENT PLEASE save yourself the stress money / revenue. and time.
do not get fooled by their smooth talks and their price even though it is for almost free.

Design Eminent designed and created my website in a very professional manner and put in a lot of additional effort to make sure that was completely satisfied with my project. They continue to be responsive to any changes or updates I ask for and continue to work on my behalf.
