I have been going to Daytona for some time now, mainly Tamworth with the occasional trip to MK. Track is always kept in great condition and staff always friendly and on hand to help as my son is a small for a cadet but they always help him feel comfortable.

My son now does the cadet championship which is always well run.

Really enjoyed my time at Daytona Tamworth with my son. The staff have been great and it is very professionally run.

Shoddy Company to work for
employing 16 yr olds to work 10/12 hr shifts putting in contract to say they will work unsociable hours, but not saying they will start at 7:30 am finish 11:30 pm with minimum breaks, on top of that only paying £7 an hour
As I understand it zero hours contract abused to the nth degree the agreement is you can refuse shifts
At the end of summer using the excuse that you could not work certain shifts so you failed probation period
Be warned Parents / Teenagers avoid Daytona MK for a holiday job,if that’s the way they treat staff no hope for customers .!!

I have been to Daytona Sandown on many occasions and have always been treated well by all of the staff but I would like to mention Nick in particular as he is always ready to explain things like tyres and lap times as a racer himself he knows to regulars these things are important.

Completely unacceptable level of service from Daytona Sandown Park . I had scheduled and fully paid for my son's birthday party two months in advance. However, six days before the event, I received a phone call from Daytona Sandown Park informing me that the event was canceled for an unspecified reason, and they offered no alternatives for that day. This is how they treat their clients. Consequently, they held my money for two months without providing any service and are now processing a refund. However, I assume it is insufficient, as they have spoiled a much-anticipated birthday celebration offering no alternative options on the day.

I organised the first race of our company's inaugural karting championship with 25 drivers. Alex and the team could not have been more flexible in the pre-event arrangements. James and the team were really flexible on the night especially as we had one driver delayed due to an accident travelling to the venue. The team shuffled the event slightly to ensure he could compete as normal. Post race, we got all the times and photos obtained by the Daytona MK team and everyone was impressed by the DMAX karts and the whole event. Thank you and we look forward to returning next year.

I purchased tickets for my grandsons and their father but every time they tried to book it there were no places available. After 12 months the vouchers expired and despite numerous emails I have had no response from the company. Avoid!

Have been to all 3 Daytona circuits and can honestly say they are the best outdoor “arrive and drive” karting centres in the UK. I own an endurance kart team and we’ve done many events with Daytona now, including multiple 24h races Friendly staff, great karts and challenging circuits make for great fun. The whole team look forward to it every time we go. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been here quite a few times with both my nephews one who did his two Junior training sessions here and the smaller one who did his Bambino and some practice sessions. I've also been a few times with my grandson who originally did his Bambino training and has has done a practice session, so I've been a fair few times though only to the Milton Keynes branch as its closest to where I am.

I've always found the staff polite, personable and professional. They've handled all my kids very well, and though its true some of the staff seem just naturally gifted working with small kids, all the staff I've encountered have been very capable and very competent in their instruction.

If I have one gripe its the waiting for sessions to start. Jees this is a real pain. Every session I've booked we've had to wait at least half an hour (normally about 45 mins though once it was an hour) before we called over to the track.
This is just to go through the preparation - helmets flags recap etc, not to actually drive which of course takes a bit longer.
You can imagine this doesn't bode well with kids who are primed and excited. I'm always on time and don't understand why a 10:30 session starts at 11:15. A wait for up to 15 minutes is acceptable as I understand some people my be a bit behind but only once has someone not arriving been the cause for the late start, so I don't understand why there is always such a delay in getting things underway.

As I've said, I've never personally driven in any of the Karts so can't comment on the experience for adults from that perspective, but the kids simply love going and I find it a good day out for them with a picnic or something after in many of the parks in MK.

Update: After I emailed various people at Daytona, I received some phone calls and emails from senior people and was told they'd investigate further.

Whilst I've since heard no findings about the kart performance that day, they did kindly offer me a race credit, which I respect & thank them for. It's likely impossible to fully analyse a kart from the recorded race stats alone. Similarly, any actual kart problems could come and go over time.

Anyway, I felt they gave me the benefit of any doubt at least and now handled the situation fairly and professionally.

I returned to the circuit again soon after for another DMAX D40 Open race. The kart did seem better this time, though still not perfect IMHO. I made several bad errors in my driving, so I can't draw a full like-for-like comparison between the two karts & events. Overall though, my times were better.

I acknowledge it simply can't be possible, even with the best efforts, to ensure all karts are absolutely identical in setup & performance for every race, such are the numerous variables at play. However, I'd expect the random allocation of karts to drivers should at least add some fairness to the competition, albeit if the karts can vary a bit.

Hopefully, my driving will keep improving and the karts will be on their best behaviour in future!

We had racing booked at Daytona Tamworth and we were not disappointed. A beautiful venue, clean and tidy. All staff friendly, helpful and know their stuff. Daytona should be proud of this venue and it’s staff especially as the reviews on the the other 2 sites don’t seem the best. Brilliant track we had some good racing will definitely be going back.

Not only me but my friends were very disappointed with Daytona Sandown Park Go Karting. And there are many reasons for that.
Firstly, the race was late by nearly an hour. Secondly, I'm unclear why there is a pro race and beginners race if the organisers still allow pro racers to join the beginner's group?
The group of the race is way too big and therefore you will get a lot of yellow lights because there are a lot of crazy drivers who constantly were bumping into others just so they can get a better time. One of our friends got such a powerful bump from someone, that he actually got a light concussion making him feel sick on the way home. Not only that but we also had one friend who got scared of the group's size and saw some of the pro drivers that she refused to go on track. And that was in addition to her migraine that started on the same day.
I agree with all the reviews given before on this place that stuff is not very helpful. Despite having their T&Cs, surely there are exceptions that can be applied when a person is truly not fit to race?!?! If someone will collapse on the race court, is that still not good enough to refund? Clearly, this place is not concerned about how high is the ticket price and the health of the drivers. Despite the introduction stating that anyone who is bumping will be disqualified - I myself had at least 4-5 bumps by those who didn't care about the rules and yet I did not see anyone being removed. And that was roughly 4-5 bumps per each of us (after speaking to my other two friends, they were bumped several times too).
Nevertheless, it is shocking that there is no sympathy for the customer at all, despite them having a delayed race. Interesting that this crew does not see that as our loss of money because we did not get to the dinner venue on time and lost an extra hour of our day.
No service can be good if there is appalling customer service and this place certainly has one of the worst customer services.
The best recommendation I can give to anyone - I strongly suggest choosing another place as I've been to many go-karting places and certainly this one is the worst. You will enjoy your time a lot better elsewhere. I can ensure you.

Disappointing!! Seems to be that the DMAX karts are hit and miss. I had two karts on todays visit that had poor engine response - likely badly tuned or setup of jets. The result was terrible hesitation on acceleration when trying to power out of corners this losing time. I have driven several races/practice sessions with Daytona both at MK and Sandown over the past 5 months so I know what a well tuned engine/ kart should feel like. 4 out of 6 times in recent months I’ve ended up with a duff engine/DMAX kart. This is not good enough considering how much they charge for the DMAX karts. Seem like they are not focussing on keeping the fleet of karts maintained to high standards.

Probably my last time as I feel there is no point if it’s a lottery of getting a half decent kart.

I made a booking pre covid pandemic March 2020 with Daytona Karting Milton Keynes with work friends whilst I was still working nearby and in the uk. The event was cancelled by Daytona Karting due to the covid lockdown being introduced, I requested a refund after lockdown 1 was lifted but was told point blank no refunds and that I would get a credit for when the lockdown was lifted and would be contacted, I'm still waiting to be contacted on this point.
Anyway we are 18 months on from the booking, I've called several times after the lockdown 1 was lifted as Daytona Milton Keynes did not call me, the response I get when I give my reasons why is disgraceful and utterly poor for such a big group/company, no sympathy or consideration that peoples lives and locations they live and circumstances do change..
My circumstances have changed during the pandemic and location I live has changed which makes it impossible for me to attend as I'm not in the UK anymore. Daytona Karting do not accept this and keep offering a credit, which is just not acceptable. I booked for an event that I could attend whilst in the Uk, Daytona cancelled on me, not me cancelling on them.
I have spoken and argued on the phone with many useless employees of Daytona who can not help and just refer to a generic script refusing to give me a refund even though I give reasons due to extenuating circumstances. They even dispute the fee paid, claiming I paid £73 when I have a copy of online payment and bank account details stating I paid Daytona Karting Milton Keynes £75 in early March 2020.
Totally unacceptable and totally not what you expect from a company this big !!
Daytona Karting Milton Keynes you have had my money £75 for 18 months and you will have made interest off this money whilst in your accounts which is my money, I've not received the service I paid for and unfortunately it was cancelled by Daytona Karting not by myself.
I would like my money back please as per trade descriptions act as no service has been received, so I can make some interest off my money.
I have emailed several times over the last month to several email addresses at Daytona Karting and I still have not had a email reply what so ever!!
Seems like Daytona Karting is just ignoring my emails and the point and hoping I will go away, well that is not the case, I want my money back Daytona karting Milton Keynes as it is unacceptable behaviour.
I've even called again several times during September 2021 and October 2021 and explained my situation and was just fobbed off that it is company policy not to give a refund.
Maybe Daytona Karting could learn some communication skills and common courtesy then maybe I would not be complaining and posting this poor review of such a poor company. That on my last visit back in 2016 was very good, clearly things change, maybe the change at Daytona Karting was for the worst and just about grabbing peoples money rather than good fair customer service.
Please could I have a refund Daytona Karting as it is not possible for me to attend due to where I live.

Terrible organisation for such a large company. Paid £600 for 6 of us to do an endurance race. This had been booked and planed well in advance with high expectations. In total we spent 2-3 hours waiting around and less than an hour racing as it was such a disappointment we decided to leave early. (Facilities are all over the place, staff unable to organise large groups, rude staff due to poor organisation, briefing stated an hour late due to staff unable to organise large groups) Great way to waste £600!! Emailed the head office to highlight the issues and was told they have to be firm with complaints, cctv was reviewed but because I did not note every fault in great detail I was told the matter would not be taken any further. Thruxton is by far the better venue and will never be returning to any Daytona venue again.

Disappointed with the terrible customer experience. After my kart failed on the first lap, i was manhally pushed to the pit lane with the process taking a good 4 minutes.

When at the pit stop i advised i did not wish to return, as would be way off compared to my friends, plus not race the same amount, I was advised there are no refunds.

I have not received the service, and they could have easily accepted they gave me a faulty kart, and a refund would be much easier.

The 14+ Race the new cars are worse than the old one they were slower and had rubbish pedals
