Terrible customer service!

A few days after placing my order, I was contacted to say that one of the items was out of stock. As the order hadn’t been sent yet and this was actually the only product I really wanted, I asked for the order to be cancelled.

I was initially told by Charlie that it couldn’t be cancelled. After I pointed out my consumer rights, I was then told that I would receive a refund within 10 days.

Ten days came and went, and after two weeks I still hadn’t received my refund. I contacted them again via Instagram and received a reply from the owner herself, who promised that she would sort it out the following morning.

The morning never came. After further unanswered messages, I eventually had no choice but to contact my bank. They have now refunded me and will deal with the matter themselves.

It really shouldn’t have to get to this stage. I gave the company plenty of opportunities to resolve what should have been a very simple issue, but the lack of communication and follow-through was extremely disappointing.

This is basic customer service — if you say you’re going to issue a refund, you should actually issue it and keep your customer informed. I would have reordered - but absolutely not after this experience

Have used the product for a few years now, medium dark. It goes on really well. However the advertising on instagram is slightly misleading when the owner says “it lasts for 10 days on holiday”, it doesn’t, it last for 3 at the most before going patchy and coming off. Which is to be expected with the swimming pool and shower daily, but it’s not a big deal reapplying it.

I put mine on a night, if I have short pjs on the sheets are tinged the next day but it does wash out, if I put long pjs on then the sheets stay white and the inside of pjs are tinged, again it does wash out. Good product but misleading advertising.

You can expect a good 3 days from tan showering normal frequency, however it doesn’t go patchy, I scrub it off and start again. I never top it up as some parts have faded and you end up with uneven tan then.

Confused by all the bad reviews tbh.

Unable to get hold of anyone at dawsylicious, no contact details, forms, email or phone details.
Tan remover arrived half full. No seal… The liquid stuck around the edges giving the illusion the pot is full, Should it be like this? Very expensive for a half pot or is mine a faulty item. Would like to return as the product isn’t as advertised. Would anyone at dawsylicious like to contact me please and help with my enquiry? Thanks

First time using this product and the colour is lovely but find it very disappointing the need to fib to sell a product has occurred...'instant dry' I stood for 20 minutes and still woke up this morning to the tan on my bed sheet and I had to re shower as it doesn't smell all that great when you wake up...very minor things but doesn't stop my disappointment as I was not expecting that from this product.

Awful tan. Looks green when applied. I did notice when she was wearing but thought it may be the lighting and it seemed popular so got on offer. I can see why it's constantly on offer now. I'd struggle to see how this product can be succesful

Terrible customer service. Been buying there tan since it started an I will never buy again after appalling customer service. Charging me to return the items I cancled the order within 30mins of buying an they are saying they can't cancle order an ill have to pay returns even though I cancled immediately. Never again buying form them after all this time being customer. Try making it difficult to cancle an order so they can keep your money .when all other companies can cancle your order but this company says they can't even though you asked to cancel straight away .

I am a real fan of dawsylicious products, however my last 2 purchases have been faulty! First my tanning foam was watery and destroyed my carpets. My most recent purchase was again faulty! Is this how the moisturiser is supposed to arrive? No seal ? Half of it has spilt all over the delivery parcel. NOT HAPPY

Very sticky tanning mouse I ordered light medium comes out looking green doesn’t dry quickly as stated on instagram it takes 6-8hrs to dry so in the meantime my pjs have tan all over I have followed instructions to apply in circular motions and it’s come out patchy in a few places it smells like any other tanning product too. In some places the tan has gone flaky and brown bits of tan left on me even when re rubbing it in I shock the bottle before using it also.
I’m really hoping for a different result in the morning 🤞 but reading these reviews I’m not keeping my hopes up and will certainly not be wearing this on my wedding day if it washes off.

I brought the light to medium tanning moose. I have tried lots of fake tans over the years and this is by far the best I’ve used! Doesn’t come out streaky and smells delicious. I would highly recommend this product.

Purchased tanning face drops tanning mouse and moisturiser after months of watching Charlotte promote it on her Instagram. I am Very disappointed in the products. The tanning face drops look ok in the morning but after washing face it’s just goes white again, I thought they were a gradual build up not wash off. The tanning mouse goes patchy and has a weird smell, not the delicious smell Charlotte promotes and whilst it doesn’t transfer onto bedding once you have a shower it comes off on the towels, then for days later every time you shower the tan comes off on to the towels not good when you use white towels, also after 3 days on holiday the tan had all disappeared which shows it’s not waterproof! I used it to how Charlotte tells you to use it and I used the moisturiser in between to prolong it but it doesn’t work. The moisturiser is ok but not worth the money. Overall very disappointed to say I’ve sent over £50 on these products and that was in the sale isn’t good for what you get from it. Wont purchase again.

Orderes from this website for the first time. Bought the tan remover as her showcasing the product looked Amazing. But oh my God it is terrible. I put 1 blob on my arm just like she does & yeh within 3 mins was gone but i rubbed it in all over & left it for 5 mins. Did not take any tan of. I always wondered why she never did a full arm or leg & only ever writes in blobs. Bt if u blob it all over the body im sure it would come off. But honestly you would need 2 tubs for 1 tan removal. Shocking & this product is not cheap. VERY DISSAPOINTING!!!

Absolutely a scam product. Ordered both sets and it's patchy and smells awful. It's just rebranded cheap and chips tanning products that don't work. If you have any sense avoid.

Despite saying the tan doesn't smell, it really does, not at first but after an hour it is rather an unpleasant aura, the shimmer hydration lotion smells nice though, hence the extra star, the tan only I would just give 2 stars

It's bloody awful and when I mean awful I mean AWFUL! the tan remover doesn't work what so ever. And the tan is patchy and awful. Doesn't do what it says on the tin. Waste of money and you can't even return the product. No thank you won't be purchasing again, don't waste your money! Just another money grabbing "celeb"

Purchased this tan along with the tan remover as a treat for my daughter, she's gutted cos I've wasted my money when trying to give her a little treat, the tan smells awful just like all other tanning products, the remover point blank doesn't work, I bought this after seeing Charlotte constantly all over social media stating that it doesn't smell awful (it absolutely does) and that the remover is amazing, blatant lies charlotte! Shame on you for conning people into believing your product is great when it's not and doesn't do what it says on the tin!!!

I purchased the ultra dark tan mousse .I used it once which turned out lovely went to use it again the week after and it was coming out green ...it was bad so waste of my money very dissatisfied with it

This instant tanning is brilliant covers lovely colour is great just love it

Omg !! The best tan I used by far - smells absolutely amazing not like any other tan.. goes on so easily and look fabulous the next day so natural looking super happy with my results- definitely recommend getting this tan if you are looking for a tan that is easily applied and very natural looking and wanna feel fabulous

Complete waste of money! The tan remover done absolutely nothing.. false advertising completely can't believe I've wasted £20 on this. How can they claim this removes? Shocking.
