Currys - Plymouth Anmeldelser 

I needed help finding information, phone numbers etc to organise a repair to my washing machine. The staff I spoke to were all very helpful, found the information I needed and explain what I should do next.
I also wanted a new vacuum cleaner. I asked a young man to fetch it downstairs for me because I use a walking stick. He not only fetched it, he did the sale for me and also took it out to my car. 👏👏👏👏

Appalling customer care. Bought a TV and within a couple of months it wasn’t working as it should - cutting off part way through programmes etc. Did all the fixes recommended to no avail. Returned it to Curry’s to exchange for a better quality TV. As it is more than 30 days old, repair only. Contacted their customer services - put through to 2 other companies, hung up on, finally spoke to someone who said I have to speak to manufacturer. Manufacturer says contract is with Curry’s. Emailed their conflict resolution centre - no response to 2 emails. Follow up email says case closed. Overall, appalling product, appalling service in store and non existent customer care. Long time customer lost.

Don’t be taken in by the follow up comments to the reviews - they don’t respond either.

My experience in Curry's could not have gone better. A salesman called Harry was excellent. I was unable to stand too long so he found me a chair moved it from place to place and was very knowledgeable about all items I wished to purchase. This was the Plymouth branch.

Not that tech clever, I'm old school.
I ordered a new smart phone through Currys website and I was having difficulty with trying to get my defence discount gift card to be applied.
I made a 25 mile round journey to the Marsh Mill store and asked for help at the service desk.
The assistant I spoke to appeared to be bored and disinterested. she eventually
took my phone and sorted out my order.
The other member of staff who completed the sale appeared to have the same attitude.
I was polite and I was left with the impression that it was all to much trouble for them.
The other branches that I have been to have always been friendly and helpful.
Perhaps it is that particular store.

Easy to exchange radio to a different type. Prompt delivery of replacement

The sales person was very informative. Listened to our requirements and then made appropriate suggestions . We were given space to make a decision without being pressured.

Terrible customer service & product.
Refusing to repair/replace expensive Kenwood oven less than 9 months old. Despite engineer confirmed faulty

Delivery service ok but installing dreadful didn't seem to know what they were doing left saying all was working went to use it didnt had to get a tradesmen in he found they had left the water in pipe twisted so they couldn't have checked it was working.

Washing machine leaked damaging wooden flooring by negeligence of currys installation crew. No basic skill used. ABSOLUTE USELESS

Easy to order item online after viewing in store. Delivery was fast and kept informed at every step. Delivery men helpful and courteous.

We were met by Tuesday at the door who was super welcoming and helpful. We had been a month previously so were happy to find our way. Then a young man called Liam helped us narrow down our Laptop choice, and also the young man that helped us last time Alex also came along and gave his advice. We felt listened to and guided as we needed.

The salesman was very pleasant and informative

Gregory, who did the set-up on my laptop was very good with any question, which were explained in great detail, and at no time rushed, very happy all round.

Easy to order and select a time for fitting. The fitters were friendly, polite and very professional.

I had a Bosch Integrated Dishwasher delivered on Wednesday l paid £115 for installation however after 2 hours 40 minutes the fitter Ed stated that he was unable to fit the original door to the new machine and he advised l would need a different machine to enable the door to be fitted! He reported his findings back to his manager and then l received an email advising someone else would be taking a look at it on Saturday however having another Tradesman at my property today Thursday he has fitted the door using the instructions supplied by the Manufacturer (which the fitter did not look at when he attempted to fit the door). The machine is now fitted & working no thanks to Curry’s and I will be requesting the £115 fitting charge to be refunded!

Ordered item online on Monday evening for click & collect on Wednesday.
Arrived as promised,very efficient.
