Went in for a new hoover.
Shop assistants had food knowledge and very helpful.
Whilst thinking about which one we were going to have we had a look around.
Ended up coming out with a new hoover and a coffee machine 😭😭💵💵.
Tom was very helpful regarding explaining the cover and products we bought.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Currys on Mansfield Road at 23/08/2026
I purchased an American-style double-door fridge from your store. Before completing the purchase, I specifically asked the sales assistant to contact the delivery department and confirm whether the fridge could be delivered to my flat on the first floor, which has no lift. I gave her two hours to make sure this was properly checked before I returned to the store.
When I came back, the sales assistant told me that the driver would be able to deliver the fridge to my flat and that there would be no problem at all. Based on this clear assurance, I went ahead with the purchase.
However, on the delivery day, the driver refused to deliver the fridge upstairs, saying that he had a bad back. I find this extremely frustrating and unacceptable. If there was a possibility that the delivery could not be completed because of the driver’s physical condition, this should have been made clear to me before the delivery was arranged.
I then returned to the store to make a complaint. What made the situation even worse was that one of the managers told me that the sales assistant would never have said that the fridge could definitely be delivered upstairs and that it would depend on the delivery. I find this very difficult to understand. The manager was not present when I spoke to the sales assistant, so how can he know exactly what she told me?
I feel that I was given misleading information by your sales staff, which directly influenced my decision to purchase the fridge. I wasted a considerable amount of time and was left extremely frustrated and disappointed.
I strongly believe Currys needs to provide much better training to its managers and sales staff so that customers receive clear, accurate and consistent information. Staff should not make promises about delivery without properly confirming the details with the delivery team, and managers should deal with customer complaints fairly rather than simply defending their staff without knowing what was actually said.
This experience has been completely unacceptable, and I hope Currys takes this complaint seriously and takes steps to ensure other customers do not experience the same poor service.
