Aintree is an Excellent store

We called into Preston Currys last weekend, end of September , hardly any staff , didn’t seem interested for customer support !
Aintree , a different picture,3 0ctober the weekend after,WOW what a difference!
Knowledgeable helpful staff , help where needed , computer search, no pressure . Left us to consider. Great advice from these young people.
I then had photos of last weekends offers on the washing machine I wanted, unfortunately the saving had finished on the particular washing machine but at the till the manager stepped in. I got the £ 100 off offer , brilliant and unexpected . Many thanks Aintree

Excellent, order easy, delivery on time, delivery men excellent, old appliances taken away, no problem

Guys came and very smart in there uniforms and fitted the washing machine took the old one.

Assistant was very helpful very pleasant.

We decided we needed a new vac, found one online, ordered, paid and collected all within one hour. Perfect.

I only went into Currys for a browse and ended up buying a washing machine thanks to Ben who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable and really took the time to help me compare the different options and choose the best washing machine for me.
There was no pressure at all, just genuinely helpful advice and great customer service. I’m really happy with my purchase and the whole experience. Ben is a credit to the store — definitely ask for him if you need any help! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Brilliant service from Curry's when we bought our new fridge freezer. Quick and easy. Sorted in minutes. Delivered right on time.

Good Company Never Had An Issue

The members of staff were effective and efficient when I explained what I came to purchase.
The washing machine arrived on time with two delivery drivers, who were very polite and equally efficient.

The man who sold me the fridge freezer (Tom) was amazing went above and beyond

Ordered my galaxy watch online which stated it was in stock had to wait 4 days before I could pick it up from the shop,staff were lovely and polite.only 4🌟 as it would of probably come quicker via post.

Staff were very helpfull helping us find what we needed.

Had my freezer delivered , they took away all the packaging and carried freezer to where I wanted it

Website easy to use.was looking for electric goods had what I was looking for.
And delivery was fast

DO NOT ATTEND THIS STORE!

We bought an iPhone from this store (Aintree) less than three months ago and this week it developed a fault whereby it was turning itself off and on every three minutes. As it’s less than three months old we took it back to the shop a few days ago only to be told we had to take it to Apple.

Today we took it to Apple, who changed the board. We got the phone home only to find the very same fault was there, so because it’s less than three months old and already had one repair, we took the phone back to Currys Aintree and requested a replacement.

Sadly, at this point, we spoke to Tate, the supposed ‘manager’ who was as unhelpful as he was unprofessional! I asked him if Currys followed consumer law and he confirmed did. He then chose to completely ignore consumer law and proceeded to tell me that Curry’s policy was all he would go by and that would mean me returning to Apple to obtain an “RA” or there wouldn’t be anything he could do, as the till “wouldn’t let him”. I repeatedly explained that this was incorrect, only to be told by Tate “this is like talking to a solicitor”! The arrogance of this ‘manager’ is equal to his apparent inexperience of dealing with customers, members of the public and consumer law. He accused me of getting angry, to which I informed I was not angry but I was stressing my point that in law we were entitled to a replacement, but he was not only denying this but also showing utter contempt. When my wife spoke and then I spoke to ask a question, Tate replied, “whoa, who am I talking to!” He then started being rude and flippant by calling me mate, of which I can absolutely assure you I am not Tate’s ‘mate’!
He then walked away, leaving us standing in the shop, saying “I’m ending this conversation” so as he was walking away (in front of other customers) I was asking why he was choosing to ignore consumer law and he was again very unprofessional and patronising, saying “ yeah that’s right mate” while giving me a thumbs up sign.
It would appear that Currys can give the sales patter, happily take your money, then ,less than three months later, they not only completely and utterly ignore the customer, and treat them like dirt, but also ignore consumer law!
I would advise everyone to avoid this store at all costs.
