Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service – damaged fridge and no proper resolution

I am extremely disappointed with Currys and the way my damaged fridge complaint has been handled.

My fridge was delivered from the Leicester store on 27/08/2026. I noticed the damage within approximately two hours of delivery and reported it to Currys immediately.

I was told that the issue would be dealt with and that a replacement would be arranged. However, more than 72 hours passed without any meaningful resolution. I contacted Customer Service several times, but each time I was given another explanation or told to wait.

I then contacted Currys Webchat and provided my case reference V2608-006-324. The Webchat agent confirmed that my case was open and active and that a priority callback had been raised with the Leicester store. I was told that the store would contact me within 24–48 working hours to arrange home collection and a replacement.

Despite this, I have still had difficulty getting anyone to take responsibility for resolving the problem. I have repeatedly been directed to different departments or told to call another number, even though I have already tried contacting Customer Service.

This has caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time and considerable inconvenience. I purchased a new fridge and expected it to arrive in proper condition and for any delivery damage to be dealt with promptly.

In my experience, the level of customer service and communication has been extremely poor.

I expect Currys to take responsibility for this matter, arrange the collection of the damaged fridge and provide the replacement without any further unnecessary delay.

I have kept the photographs, messages, case references and records of my conversations as evidence. If this matter is not resolved properly, I will consider escalating my formal complaint through the appropriate consumer dispute-resolution and legal channels.

I would strongly urge Currys to review how damaged-product complaints are handled and take appropriate action to prevent other customers from experiencing the same level of frustration.

I purchased a 3 year McAfee package in…

I purchased a 3 year McAfee package in October with a Samsung Laptop.
I have had really poor health since purchasing and was unable to go back to the store.
I got 1 month free protection then I kept getting alerts saving my subscription had ran out.
I have only been well enough this last 2 weeks to get out of the house to go back to Curry's asking why I was not protected.
I paid them to transfer all my data from old laptop and to install the McAfee. They did install it but I was never logged on to it. I was unaware I needed to do that. Currys also downloaded all 3 yearly subscriptions to run in the same year.
The manager will not correct this although it was their error. They have just cancelled 2 of the 3 subscriptions and given me the remaining time so insted of 3 years I have 263 days for a cost of £265.
Absolutely disgusted.
Currys argument is I should have complained earlier. I did call the store but they said i would need to take the laptop in which i was physically unable to do.
Not happy at all.

Rude staff !

Ordered a washing machine online & went to fetch it. Walked into the Collection Point & was 2nd in que. When it was my time to be served the member of staff looked directly at me & walked away. I asked another member of staff on the shop floor if it was common practice to ignore customers ? And sorted out my collection. Mr Norris order CUR2680604363
