Currys - Grimsby Anmeldelser 

We went to Curry's in Grimsby to buy a new dishwasher. We were met by a sales assistant (Andrew) who seemed very knowledgeable on the items and was helpful and friendly. He advised us on the different ways to purchase the item and compared products for us.

The purchase was easy and the sales assistant wasn’t afraid to ask for assistance himself if he wasn’t sure how a product worked. It was important to us that we were fully conversant with our product rather than under informed.

Sales staff pressure you to buy extras, delivery men did NOT text to say they were on way and one of them never spoke a single word to us

Husband found same item on for £105 cheaper and they price matched

We had a problem at first installing the product (turns out to be an error on our laptop not the product or Currys fault). However, we went back and Poppy at the Grimsby store was amazing! So incredibly patient and helpful and stayed with us and our very regular questions until it was all sorted out. Her customer service skills went above and beyond what she was obliged to do and we very much appreciated it.

Andy was very helpful answering any questions and explaining different points relating to the TVs we were looking at. Never tried to influence us and was patient while we deliberated on our best option. He gave freely of his time and we never felt pressured or rushed. Thank you Andy. Overall a very positive experience. We’re very happy with our purchase and would use Currys again

Purchased a Shark lift away hoover on 5th November 2025- Took it back to Grimsby store 19 August 2026 due to base on hoover broken and also loosing power. When I purchased it I paid £129.99. Today in store it was priced at £199. After talking to staff they had non in stock so was going to arrange a next day delivery but was asked to pay and extra £30 ?? Apparently it was a pet hoover . Slightly different to the one I had. This one was £159. They apparently couldn’t price match from the tablet as it was different stock ? I’ve then had to travel to Scunthorpe who had in stock at the store - Scunthorpe was brilliant straight swap. The staff at Grimsby was ok but the whole principle of expecting me to pay extra £30 for like for like product is ridiculous! Then travel 30 minutes there and back . With all due respect it is not a customer issue if you can’t change ‘online ‘ prices so this area should be looked into ? It’s over an hour took out my day off to sort this out . Policies should be looked into because it’s not very practical . If I didn’t notice on the member of staffs tablet the hoover was the exact same I was about to pay the extra £30 for absolutely no reason ? I look forward to your reply …
