My folks went Currys in Durham Retail…
My folks went Currys in Durham Retail Park for an electric hob. The salesman said you only sell induction hobs. This seems to be incorrect as you have normal ceramic hobs on your site. This is unfair as old people do not understand the new technology. I am irate at this service as the product cost 3 times the price of a normal hob plus they had to buy new pots to cook on this induction model. Not happy with my 83 year old parents being ripped off 😮💨

The young man who served me(his name was either harley i believe) was exceptionally brilliant. It took a little time to find the correct code for the item I was purchasing but he apologised throughout and had a good conversation going. Would purchase from him again!

Purchased a beko fridge freezer from Durham store arrived dented supply another one arrived dinted supply another one arrived dented went to Durham store said it was poor the way I’d been treated and met with a real bad attitude of the store manager got a different fridge off another store perfect and cheaper than curry’s will never visit the store in Durham again staff are ignorant and unhelpful also filled in online complaint and haven’t had a response from them since 2 month ago

If I could have given zero stars I…
If I could have given zero stars I would have. They made it as difficult as they could for me to return a faulty cat flap that id paid £110 for after only having it for 3 months. After two failed collections by the courier (curry's didnt supply a return label the first time. They cancelled the courier the second time) I was told to take it to any postoffice. The postoffice DO NOT accept DPD parcels. I then had to find where I could take it to. I was told it would be replaced within 5 days. 14 days later I had still not received it but after checking my bank account noticed it has been refunded two days earlier. I was told no refund would be given on each of the 3 times I called them. There was no correspondence. No notification of refund. Nothing. Their customer service has to be the worst I have ever dealt with. I also went into the branch where I collected the cat flap from after buying it online to which I got " sorry theres nothing we can do as you bought it online" its the same company, why the hell not? I wanted to log my own complaint and was told I needed to put it in writing and post it!!! I mean seriously currys, what decade do you think it is? A complaint was logged over the telephone eventually which was exculated. I was told I would receive a call back with 24-48 hours. Needless to say that never came. I would never recommend currys to anyone. I was so annoyed and frustrated with them. Avoid at all costs. If you have a problem you will learn to regret your decision to buy from them in the first place.
