Queen of the night was a really great show, excellent performers.

Bastille at Colchester castle park were great and the staff were very friendly. I do however think there could have been more hand gel as there were no sinks in the portaloos and only the odd bottle of sanitizer placed on the floor outside. I also think there should have been more signage to get back to the parking- it was dark when we left so was hard to remember how to get back especially as the entrance was different to the exit.

Was overcharged at a concert on 2nd July.

Now it is the 9th September & still no reply or resolution.

Recently attended Bastille at Colchester Castle Park. The concert itself was fantastic. Bastille were amazing.

The entrance staff could do with more training. I'd got a point and click (NOT PROFESSIONAL, none removable lens) camera in my bag. The member of staff told me I would have to take it and put it in the car as no cameras were allowed in. Funny because almost everyone in there would have a phone with a camera on it (which are probably a better spec than mine) and we saw others with cameras that were bigger than mine.

I probably wouldn't attend this venue again as we had to sit on the floor as fold up chairs were not allowed either and unfortunately this caused a huge amount of pain and discomfort (I think this is discriminatory against hidden disabilities). There should be a section where chairs are allowed that isn't the VIP section.

Great gig at the piece hall in June but don't bother trying to communicate with their customer service dept. I was charged twice for some over priced Churros, they're still sending me the same automated 'delay tactics' email months on. Absolutely appalling customer service all to get out of refunding a customer £12.50! Insane!

Attended two events at Lincoln Castle from Cuffe & Taylor. Both events were brilliant and the organisation was spot on. Will be booking again for next year.

Jane McDonald, everything was fantastic.

Jane McDonalds Tour is exceeding all expectations. Great set list, amazing voice, humour & personality.
I have attended the first three with many more to go - thank you Jane & Cuffe & Taylor. Amazing

Fat Boy Slim concert Colchester Park - great show although could have done with some gazebos to go under when it rained which it did a lot. Leaving wasn't great, everyone was squashed in the exits. Last year was better with additional exits nearer to Colchester Town centre which you need for Colchester Town station. We nearly missed or train home.

Extremely polished performance from Jane and the rest of the cast!

We watched Jane MacDonald at Blackpool winter gardens. We absolutely loved the show but had a few issues with the venue:
(1) Merch stall only got set up at 6:30pm with one lady running it, who was rushed off her feet and undoubtedly stressed. We had a long queue to wait in to get served.
(2) pre- interval drinks ordering was chaotic, once again we had to wait in another very long queue before the show to get served
(3) we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to our seats in the balcony. Only one lift available which was very busy. Seat numbers not clearly labelled above the doors. We had seats E1 and E3 but could not figure out how to get to the middle aisle to access them. We had to climb over lots of other spectators to get to our seats instead
(4) the show started before everyone in the balcony was seated, as people were struggling so much to access their seats. The auditorium steps are very steep to negotiate safely in the dark. There could have been better communication between front and back of house, to either get the guests seated earlier or delay the start of the show by 5 or 10 mins, for health and safety reasons

Brilliant Saturday evening watching Jane Mcdonald in concert at Blackpool Opera House. Jane was sensational from start to finish and deserved the repeated standing ovations she received.

Only downfall were the huge queues at Merchandise before the show. Only one person serving which was totally inadequate for the amount of people wanting to purchase merchandise and after queuing for nearly 30 minutes was informed they had ran out of tour programmes which was disappointing considering this was only the 2nd concert in a 20 venue tour. Disappointed fans and lost opportunity for income generation.

Staff polite and very helpful when needed, venue amazing and Bastille were absolutely brilliant as was the whole evening.

started off well. Entrance was smooth as VIP had own entrance section so was quick. VIP area wasn’t any different apart from it had picnic benches. Wasn’t much choice in food only chips. Toilets in VIP were still not that great better than the blue portoloos but still smelt even at the start of the day. As the day progressed the venue filled up. Didn’t like the fact people vaping everywhere, there should be a vaping section. Or those people vaping should be ask to go at the back section. Vaping is becoming quite invasive to others these days who don’t vape . Sectioning off vapours would be much better. They can all fumigate themselves and kill each other and not the non vapours!!
One section of the VIP section was a platform nearer the stage. View was good but as a VIP I’d expect the clientele to be not riff raff!! But this was far from it. I was at the event with my 14 year old daughter . However next to us was a group of very drunk 50 plus year olds. They were very drunk they really shouldn’t have been allowed to be there. Just at the start of fat boy slim a massive fight broke out between them which was very violent and my daughter and I were pushed around in all the curfuffle. Security took ages to come and try to sort it out. They should have removed all of them but instead I think they just moved one person and of course later on something else broke out as a result. My daughter felt very unsafe she cried and it was totally abysmal behaviour at a concert that is claiming 6 year olds plus can go!!! Vaping drunk fighting idiots!!! Aged mid 50s who should know better who quite clearly haven’t grown up enough to handle their alcohol yet!!! VIP it certainly wasn’t!!! They certainly didn’t behave in a manner of VIP in fact they were of a class that should be in the gutter!!! Fat boy slim should have been amazing but these idiots spoilt it and frightened my daughter. Shockingly shameful of them!!! I will be making a formal complaint!!! In future I will stick to Hyde park summer concerts VIP diamond which has a better class of people attending!!! Shame as I love fat boy and saw him at the summertime ball and decades ago on Brighton beach. He doesn’t encourage fighting his music is meant to be loved Shame drunken immature idiots spoilt it. I suggest next year those idiots stay at home!!!I want them to know how scary their behaviour was right next to a 14 year old!! They should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Not been to the theatre for years,but everything went smoothly from entering the theatre to the end everyone was so helpful. The show was brilliant 👏 and we had really good seat's

I’ve been to two gigs this summer in. Colchester Castle Park and both were really well organised. Good choice of food and drink. Friendly staff and great acts.

Great evening the artists were amazing but feeling very disappointed when finding out exactly what the VIP price I paid was for. I was expecting the VIP area to be sectioned off, but no it was open for General admission ticket holders aswell which I have never known before. The only extra benefits for VIP ticket holders was a raised standing area off to the side, a toilet and a seating area...which was right at the BACK of the venue! If I had known this I would never have paid the extra £50 per ticket and I feel like I have been ripped off.
On the plus side, the security team were very professional and responded well to a medical emergency.

Amazing night at Derby Valliant for Jane McDonald opening night ,show was brillant ,you can see how Jane is supported by the promoter with a fantastic staging and her to have a bigger band with brass section and the way it has been promoted, fantastic opportunity for jane to play to a wider audience in the arena tour 😀

First time visit to The Piece Hall and it was so well organised. The security staff were very friendly. The venue is brilliant. We don’t like to be in the thick of it and there were plenty of places to stand and not be crowded. We saw Bastille and it was brilliant. Very good sound and impressive stage set. Will definitely look at more gigs there.
