I purchased a 3 seater Osbourne sofa in Ink Eco Chenille with feather filling from the Leamington Spa branch which was delivered in December 2025. I love the colour and the style……but the back sofa cushions are not fit for purpose which ruins the whole sofa.

In store we were told the cushions need to be plumped and turned once a week. THIS IS NOT TRUE! They go flat within an hour of sitting on the sofa and require a vigorous plumping EVERYWHERE SINGLE DAY. This is not an easy job as the back cushions are large and heavy due to their size and feather content.

I contacted the branch by email and they forwarded it to customer service. The team contacted me back with prices for me to pay myself for new back cushions. I explained (again) it is a design fault and the feather back cushions are not fit for purpose asking for replacement back cushions with fibre filling rather than feather as it is certainly not what you expect from a £2000 sofa.

Customer service arranged for their restoration team to look at the sofa to decide if it was a manufacturing issue or general wear and tear.

Clearly it is not a manufacturing issue, as I said from the start - it is a design fault - and I have now been told the case is closed!!

I can honestly say I would never buy a sofa from The Cotswold Company again and feel I am now stuck with a very poor quality product. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!

We visited the Leamington Spa showroom in December to view the range of furniture. I did contemplate placing my order online but there were certain issues I needed clarifying. I telephoned the store to place my order as the items were due different dates. Cilla took my call and placed my order for me and advised that there would be two separate deliveries. She was extremely helpful and it was lovely to have a friendly voice at the end of the phone.

I like the furniture anyway, it’s good quality solid stuff at a fair price which isn’t that easy to find these days, I have quite a bit of furniture in the kitchen already and have just added a wardrobe. What makes a difference for me with the Cotswold Company is the service, communication and any interactions. In a sea of mediocre companies offering poor furniture at high prices with questionable sustainability and brand values and generally poor customer service and communication these days. I feel that the Cotswold Company has made a decision to try and raise the bar. From popping in to my local shop in Leamington to order, to the slick email updates provided for delivery with options to select dates that work for you in a wide range, to the final delivery. Every interaction is great.
Special credit to the delivery team today Sam & Ryan, who managed to deliver and unpack in the pouring rain, negotiating a disgruntled neighbour struggling to get the car on their drive, tacking stairs with big boxes and child safety gates all done with a pleasant smile and upbeat attitude. Again they always go a little further than most companies that just dump stuff on the door step these days. They will deliver to a room of choice and take away the packing too. All of this and they are B-corp too. Well done Cotswold Company for saying average is no longer good enough.

Great experience from the sales Team who managed to be available for me without overpowering attention, The quality of the product is really good and I managed to get a small discount in the sale, Delivery guys (Sam and Ryan ) were friendly and respected my home with the job done perfectly.

Another great experience with the Cotswold Company. Bought 4 Primrose dining chairs in the Leamington Spa store. So nice to be able to go in there and see what you are buying, try them out and be advised by knowledgeable, friendly sales staff (Paul).
Chairs are perfect! Comfortable, well-made, sturdy and look beautiful. Delivery was very good- on time, we were well informed about delivery time and the chairs were in perfect condition on arrival.

Really pleased with our wardrobe, bedside table and bookcase. Top quality as always, and the wardrobe so straight forward to assemble (well designed). A mention to Fred and Able who unpacked and took everything upstairs to the bedroom, very helpful and polite.

Paul was amazing. He gave genuinely practical suggestions and clear advice to help me make the right purchase, and he truly cares about his customers. It is always a pleasure to order from this shop.

My personal experience at their Leamington Spa store. Got totally ignored by the two male shop assistants despite me trying to talk to them twice when they were not busy with other customers. Found a female employee at the back of the showroom who was tidying up and seemed to be the only employee in the store doing anything. She was polite and did answer my queries. Unfortunately one of the items I wanted had gone from 'in-stock' to being up to 16 weeks delivery since the same morning. Have no intention of stepping inside a Cotswold store ever again. No wonder some high streets are declining. Found something similar to what I was looking for in-stock at an alternative furniture store that's in south-west midlands. If anyone from Cotswold is reading this then I will let you know directly the time I was in your Leamington store so you can review the cctv (which I presume you have) to see me being deliberately ignored at the counter by two male shop assistants - I can only resume that I didn't look like the sort of customer that should be in 'their' store.

I Placed an order for a complete bedroom set & the manager Paul was so helpful, making placing my order and arranging delivery dates so easy.

Great quality and the sideboard looks fab in our new home. Cannot fault the service of this company, they deliver on time and keep you updated along the way. We’ve had several pieces of furniture from them now and they are my go to company. Love the new colour Limestone.

Lamp seems good quality in the shop. I would say we were a bit underwhelmed when it was delivered. It seemed just about acceptable when thinking what we paid for it.

lots of help on design choices and comfort of different sofa and chair options. 8 weeks to have them made to order but that's expected.

I rang to see if you had a sample of the carpet I was interested in,which you did. I came into the store later on, as soon as I mentioned the sample it was produced. I liked it and went ahead and ordered, the assistant was very efficient.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, lovely products and shop layout. Went to shop after looking and choosing from booklet and on line, well worth the journey. Will purchase again when needed. Thank you Paul. That personal touch makes all the difference.
