I purchased a Cosy Llama pashmina for my daughter's wedding at the end of March 2026. The pasmina was warm and comforting on a chilly spring wedding day. I purchased the colour 'pearl' which was complimented on by many guests. My daughter has worn the pashmina several times since the wedding and absolutely loves the quality and feeling it brings to her when she wears it. I am delighted with the purchase.

Not a great experience
Not a great experience. While the shawl itself is nice, the returns process is a nightmare. Don’t believe their claims of a “hassle free” experience. The business is based in Portugal and there are several import duties you have to pay to ship goods into the country, even returns. On top of that, Cosy Llama actually charges you for the apparently “free” shipping - I’m not just talking about the return shipping which is obviously also on top. I paid $216 AUD for my shawl and the ultimate cost to return it was $234, once all was said and done. It’s a rort and clearly false advertising so I’ve reported them to the ACCC.

We’re really sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations, Kelsey — especially since we know how important these purchases are.
To clarify: we are a Portugal-based company shipping worldwide, and while we offer free outbound shipping, international returns from countries outside the EU can unfortunately involve import duties, VAT, and brokerage fees charged by local customs authorities when the item re-enters the EU. These charges are set by the authorities and are outside of our control. There are countries, where we have local representation (for example, in the UK), and returns are local there. But unfortunately, we have no such presence established in Australia yet.
We always aim to be transparent about this and to support customers through the return process. However, due to the high cost of international returns, we generally recommend ordering fabric samples first to ensure the colour and texture are exactly right.
We absolutely understand your frustration — international logistics can sometimes be more complex than expected — and we’re always here to help customers make the best possible choice before ordering.
