Good walking holiday, but it was very slow to get going and had a lot of restaurant stops. Mick the guide was great lots of knowledge. When we booked the trip the itinerary was different it had two guided walks, I have found this twice now with Colletts what you book and what you get is not always the same. It was still a good walking holiday, but not for serious walkers

Well chosen hikes with clear guidelines in beautiful Corsica. Accommodation was comfortable and clean in well appointed locations. I would highly recomm nd.

Briefing notes and route maps were very useful, on-site staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The accommodation was excellent.

Great 4 days walking in the Yorkshire Dales. Our guide Penny was excellent. Her knowledge of the Dales is second to none. Accommodation at Eastfield Lodge in Leyburn was super. Very comfortable. 5 star. Henry the chef ( and many other duties) looked after everyone royally . Thank you Very much Penny and Henry . We had a lovely time.

Colletts give a professional efficient and personal service. The highlight of the Andalucia holiday was the walking. Fantastic, experienced guide beautiful mountainous scenery as well as white washed Spanish Villages. Highlight was the strenuous but stunning gorge walk on the last day.
We stayed in a rustic villa with pool. Slightly faded glory but gorgeous views across the valley. Food and drink were only average but the setting in the small town square was charming. Great group of people too!

We experienced our first guided walking holiday in the North Yorkshire Dales. Our hosts, Henry and Penny were welcoming, warm and friendly to all the 17 guests! Both very well organised and nothing was too much trouble for this dynamic couple. Henry’s meals (and wine! ) were delicious and healthy and Penny’s energy and passion for walking and the Dales was inspirational. We walked talked and laughed a lot. Accommodation was to a very high standard and the beds… the best we’ve ever slept in. Treat yourself to a holiday you won’t forget for all the right reasons . It was a real tonic . A fantastic, kind and attentive rep, Taea, was wonderful. Also a great central location, Il Rigo, although rustic, was comfortable and the food was excellent.

Fantastic walking tour in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with a great guide/Mountain Leader and cozy and comfortable accommodation at The Eastfield Lodge. Certainly not the last time I’m going there.

Besides the sheer beauty of the hike itself, Collett's made the trip easy by arranging all the travel and lodging logistics. The outdoor active app could have been made a little easier to use. We had trouble sometimes using the map while hiking.

Colletts were very helpful and informative from the first contact. Had the best walking holiday in Spain, it delivered everything advertised and more!

An amazing holiday

Using Collett’s for our Corvara hiking took all the guesswork and hassle out of the experience. Being from o/s we were unfamiliar with the region but having a Collets rep in the hotel bar before dinner meant we were able to choose the best hikes for our level of experience, the weather, and knew just where to catch busses or cable cars if needed. The hiking files and maps provided made hiking easy and The La Tambra Hotel and its food were excellent. We would recommend Collets and this trip to others.

Wonderful walks with breathtaking views, and a good choice of walks each day, of varying difficulty. Paper maps were excellent and the electronic map on the app invaluable so you couldn’t really get lost. Excellent written instructions too.
The first hotel was a nice 4* place, where we spent a few extra nights afterwards. The second was not so good - 3* with no air conditioning which was a serious drawback even in September; and no fridge - one was supplied on request but it didn’t work.
The 3rd accommodation was 2* and more of a guest house - the owner was a bit overwhelmed by so many people in our group but didn’t seem to have any more help. Breakfast had mouldy fruit and the orange juice was so old it was fizzy. A very minimal cooked breakfast and some pasty completed the effect.
On the other hand, the evening meals at the 3rd location were at external restaurants and 2 out of 3 were really excellent meals (Gran Pic and Cambium) and the other was good.
Must be possible to run this holiday with an uptick of the accommodation - we would happily have paid more for a couple of better accommodations.

First class company to deal with, the office has real people that answer the phone and helpful knowledgeable in resort guides.
Highly recommended for their superb choice of hotels
