One star cos I had to I purchased my mokka about 3 months ago and just warming other people please do not buy from this company they come across very nice and genuine until they have your money them bam don’t wanna no really wished I had seen theses review before I brought! So I paid almost 5 grand for this moter hadn’t had a week and was having problems I’ve now had to fork out another 2000 to get all problems sorted and road worthy as a fake mot was clearly put on and a service I was promised never happened (I even asked for proof but never got it) and as for my 3 months warranty that was ment to come with car! Well that’s laughable really please guys just take your money elsewhere I’ve been a fool pleas don’t put yourselfs in the same situation

Well this is certainly the best place to buy cars from . I have bought many many cars over the years through car salesmen that were just wanted to sell you a car . Well stewart at colchester cars for less is way above them guys. He is the most helpful, freindly and genuine guy I have ever dealt with. I saw the car online and when I called I didn't realise it was manual so I apologised and thanked him for his time. About an hour later stewart called me back and said he has got an auto coming in and he would get back to me when he has it . few hours later I had pictures and deal done on the car . My Px valued all done through wats app so quickly done I couldn't believe it. Then I told him that I am approx 4 hours away and he said no problem we will deliver it . This company go way and above what any other companys do (im sure stewart does not know what sleep is ). Stewart cares not about a sale but about what the customer wants and makes sure the customer is more than happy you certainly did that thank you. The driver then turned up with my new car and told me that all the paperwork was sorted and to check the car over so I was completely happy (thank you john) .so if you want great customer care and amazing service don't go anywhere else as I have bought numerous cars over the years and have never dealt with anyone like these guys . Thank you guys 5 stars are not enough.

If I could put 0 stars I would , got a lovely car from them with an agreed 6mth warranty(stupidly we didn’t get it in writing ) , when car was delivered we discovered a couple of things were wrong (needed a new battery & sensors fixing ) on the car which came under that warranty. We ended up paying for the repairs out of our pocket ,after multiple promises to get them sorted from Stewart , which we couldn’t really justify but had no choice or we’d have no car. He also promised to reimburse us what we were out of pocket …..still not seen the money.( only pennies though hey Stewart ? )
Please spend you money elsewhere definitely don’t believe a thing this place tells you .…… they will promise EVERYTHING and deliver NOTHING. They will fob you off as they did us , even when they don’t turn up as promised/agreed , they will promise and lie their way through it . 6mths garentee that is worth absolutely nothing .

Buying a new or used car can be stressful. CCFL took care of everything. Dealt with a part exchange (fair price) hassle free process in buying a newer car for my wife. Happy wife, happy life! Very pleased all round.

If you buy a car from here and it needs work, you will be messed around to the point it will become a full time job to actually get use of the warranty you pay for in the garage premium.
The company will 'forget' to return every call they promise to give you. Will not do all the work you ask and use useless repair garages, so the car will need to go back and waste your warranty time. They will not update you about the progress of the work being done. I was explicitly promised that, the work (brakes) would be done within a week, it wasn't, and meant I had no car for a weekend away. It went in for brakes 3 times. The clutch started to give up within 2 months of a 3 month warranty. The garage initial said they would pay labour and half the part cost, but then changed this to, no labour and half the part cost without explanation. They also made no effort to explain that if you want to extend their warranty, you need to do that when you buy the car, and it won't be possible after that day...

I really don't know where to start. I have seen too many cowboy traders over the years, but this one has taken it to a different level. He was friendly and chatty over the phone during the sale, and before transferring the money to him, after he received the full amount, he became a different person, he didn't want to talk, and doesn't reply to my messages. He is a professional liar. He told me the car was serviced, but the service book arrived with no stamp, and the joke was when I asked him, he said service book do not get a stamped (although there was previous stamps in the service book from previous services). Instead, he said he would provide a service invoice, but he, as a professional liar didn't provide any invoice, although I asked him many times, but he doesn't reply to my messages or my calls. He told me that the car would be valeted in the morning before the delivery, but the car arrived very dirty in the inside and the back and the front seats had a lage stains (which it didn't show in the online photos). When I told him, he said he was in a rush for delivery and there was no time. He reassured me and said he would arrange for the car to be valeted near me (before asking me to chase my bank to complete the money transfer, but of course, no valeing was arranged. He also failed to provide me with a written confirmation of the 3 months warranty even by email. After inspecting the car, I found the back light broken, the side mirror were broken, and made an awful noise when folding. I guess I don't check properly because I was upset about the inside condition of the car. He also told me that he had 3 delivery all in my direction, but the car was driven all the way from his place to my house, adding more miles on it rather then delivery on the back of a truck, (that was my understanding when he said 3 deliveries). You might read this and think I'm neive or stupid. The problem was if I returned the car, I would have lost my £500 deposit that I paid, which was not refundable and he would have promised to do everything but once he receives the money he wouldn't bother as he did. But I recognise that it's partly my fault as well as a consequence of buying a car online, but man, what a thief. I know this type of people don't really care about bad reviews because he knows that he will always going to sell cars for people who are not aware of people like him, that's why I write my experience to worn other people about this dealer. Please be aware as it's costly.
