Cocoa Runners Anmeldelser

We attend the Cocoa Runners Zoom event that is their introduction to chocolate tasting. What a fun and informative experience. It was scheduled as quite long - 2 hours from memory - but the time disappeared, in fact we almost ran out of time. The presenter was knowledgeable and interacted well with all the people on the call. We also got to learn loads about chocolate from history, to growing, to uses, to how it is made, to problems (environmental and social) - pleased this wasn't avoided and was dealt with at just the right level within a fun evening. We got to taste some lovely chocolate and we would heartily recommend.

Having purchased a tasting pack of various artisan chocolates from Cocoa Runners we signed up for an interactive Zoom talk and tasting.
We had an absolutely brilliant time! Nick (the presenter) had an infectious enthusiasm and the tasting was accessible and informative without being pretentious. He opened up a whole new world of enjoyment for those on the call. Moreover participants were fully engaged through being able to vote on what they were tasting and we were put at ease with our host stressing there were no right or wrong answers. We didn't all like everything - but it was so interesting to see how 'taste' could be modified through smell, touch, feel - and by chewing coffee beans!
All in all it was an excellent evening and I would thoroughly recommend it.

We have done many activities with this organization. Children's events, tasting events at Chelsea and at home as well as attending their festivals with craft chocolate makers.
Well run, very reputable in the chocolate world and the top importer of craft chocolate in the UK I believe. We have learned a lot from Cocoa Runners and discovered products we like and some we do not in their tastings and subscription boxes.

The tasting evening was so brilliant, professional and educational. I learnt so much about chocolate and the different processes in how to make it.
Our facilitator was knowledgeable and easy going and answered all our questions so thoroughly.
I would highly recommend this to anyone. The pack of chocolate was impressively prepared.

A most enjoyable evening
I learned a lot about chocolate and plan to learn more!

An excellent resource for promoting ethical and high quality production across the chocolate industry.

I was impressed with how educational and truly engaging the experience was. I loved learning about the economics and mechanics behind chocolate-making throughout history. This experience felt very intentional and well-curated.

What an excellent experience. Tasting a wide range of different and interesting chocolates, understanding the different flavours and why some want to make you eat more and more, and some you want to savour. On top of that, a history of chocolate, and how to buy better for your pleasure, health, protecting farmers and the planet. Highly recommended

Learned lots about chocolate- what to look for and how to enjoy it. And are some really delicious chocolate too. Highly recommended.

Informative, interesting and fun! Spencer clearly knows a lot about chocolate and imparts this in an entertaining way.

Amazing company with great products - was able to put through a large corporate order which was processed and delivered to a number of recipients within days. Beautifully packaged products - will definitely order again!

Interesting and informative. Excellent product knowledge and good to share the enthusiasm

Thoroughly enjoyable hour and a half listening and participating in the chocolate tasting. Learned about the history of chocolate, how it is now made and what to look for in properly made chocolate. Having mass produced chocolate described as being akin to chicken nuggets was enlightening. Also appalled at how little some producers pay the farmers. Would recommend.

Voor schoenen heb ik een bestelling geplaatst. Levering ging vlot, product is goed, maar dat zal niet anders zijn dan elders. Top

I ordered some chocolate bars from this company two weeks ago. Heard nothing for a week, so contacted them. They promised my order was "going through the system" and would arrive the next day. Still nothing. I have written twice more and not heard back. Were it not for the reviews here I would think the company a scam, but it seems that some people do get what they paid for. Whereas I have paid and got nothing at all!

Fantastic experience. The chocolate was so varied and it was great to learn and walk and eat through the different varieties.

Would recommend for virtual work events to bring you team some happiness as well as families or individuals.

Great people, awesome organic&fairtrade chocolates! They are very quick on responds, chocolates were packed very nicely for shipping. We had a tasting session with Spencer, very knowledgeable, helpful and cheerful to find your way in the world of cocoa.
Delicious bars, the quality we have dreamed of.

We loved our chocolate tasting experience with Spencer from Cocoa Runners. There was plenty of interesting information and delicious chocolate, a friendly atmosphere and great wines to wash it down. It was a fun thing to do for Valentines, appropriate without being smaltzy.

I did a wine and chocolate tasting event with some friends and it was a lovely experience. Everyone at cocoa runners was so friendly and knowledgeable about what we were trying and of course the chocolate was delicious.
